[duplicate thread here: Help with font identifying?]
Can anyone help which fonts are they?
I have an older, non TypeKit license of – let’s say – Myriad on my machine. This font isn’t activated all the time, but only when needed. What happens, when I forget activating my existing Myriad, and I open a document, which needs this font? In InDesign CC 2014 a dialogue pops up, asking to install the missing font via TypeKit.What, if I do this? Will TypeKit Myriad overwrite my Myriad, what means eventually, the font is gone, when I cancel my CC subscription?
Hi guys, I'm designing a website for a client and was interested in purchasing helvetica regular/normal. I have this font installed on my computer from previous work i'v done in my old office a long time ago but i need to license this for my correct client for web usage.Problem is, I cant find it. I can only find helvetica neue which is not the same. It's strange, i know it exists, i can see other websitesuse it (i use what font plugin), i can test it in different web font platforms(CSS Font Stack: Helvetica Web Font ),i can find it for free, but no where can i purchase it.So i figured ill try helvetica neue for a parallel. After some testing in fontshop with, i realized medium 65 looks the same as the regular/normal (at least there). But when I test with it in Photoshop it looks completely different while the helvetica regular i have installed looks exactly like the web version.I really cant understand what am i missing...Anyone got any ideas?
I'm doing some research into the laws surround typefaces when used in a physical product, such as house numbers or home decor lettering. I would use Illustrator to create the vectors. What type of license is needed for this use on a commercial scale? Are there different "tiers" based on company size? Does the legality change if the manufacturer does or doesn't include the typeface name in the product name? Is it legal to modify a glyph for this use?The particular fonts I'm interested in are Helvetica and Futura. Thanks!
It has been extremely frustrating trying to get any information from Adobe about how to upgrade my licensed Font Folio from v11 to v11.1. On the Website, there are dead and missing links, and no pricing, except for the full $2995+ versions with five seats or more. (Depending upon pricing, I'd want 2-to-5 seats covered for my upgraded software.)On the phone with Adobe, there is also confusion about this product, and I've been provided with links to Adobe Portfolio and Behance, rather than Font Folio. The recommended third-party reseller has to research the pricing. So, any guidance would be greatly appreciated. If a secret handshake is the solution, please clue me in. Thanks.Neil
Hi, I was sent to the forum to ask my question. I had fontfolio installed on my machine. I suffered a hard drive crash and am rebuilding it. I'm looking to download fontfolio again but it's not listed in my creative cloud apps list or anywhere in my adobe account. I really relied on this software and need to get it back. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,M
Thank you for creating the Font Source Han Sans Simplified Chinese. I would like to ask if this font is free to use on the package of our product, user manual and website. Looking forward to your prompt response.
Is the ACaslon Regular typeface that The New Yorker uses for body copy the same as the Adobe Caslon Pro (regular) on my Word: Mac 2011 software?
We recently upgraded to InDesign CC and can no longer find Arial Regular as a font. When I open a document in CC, Arial Regular comes up as a missing font and when I try to substitute from the Style drop-down menu, "Regular" isn't an option anymore (I can see narrow, ital, bold, etc., but no regular). If I get out of the missing font window and just highlight a section of text with the missing font, however, I do see Arial MT as an option in the drop-down menu. What's the difference between Regular and MT? Or perhaps the better question is why doesn't Arial Regular show up in InDesign CC?
I'm using font Adobe "Utopia", but it's not display correctly on android device. Can you please help me ?[Moved from the Forum Lounge to a support forum - moderator]
Hey all. If or when ever tasked with figuring out what fonts are being used in an image, how do you go about the task? I have a perfect example. Say you wanted to figure out what fonts are used on an old t shirt! It looks to me that there are a max of 5 fonts. Maybe 3 and some are just scrunched versions... I've tried running it through 3 different 'upload your image and scan for fonts' web apps but they were close to useless. Any help or a point in the right direction would be great!
Been having trouble with Proxima Nova family not working in certain InDesign files. When I copy and paste text from one InDesign file in which the font is working and paste it into another pre-existing file, the font is missing. I've tried unsyncing and resyncing. However, if I create a brand new InDesign file and paste the same text into it, the font works. All of these 3 files are open at the same time. The font works in the first InDesign file and the newly created one, but not the pre-existing file. The only way I can get the font to work in this file is to outline them first. Has anyone else had this problem?
What was the original software CD sold by adobe that came with the original Helvetica type 1 family of fonts? When you installed the software it also installed the original basic type 1 fonts. But I am looking for Helvetica specifically. I cannot use the new Open type version sold by Linotype. I need the obsolete version.
I welcome any help I can get on this. We have thousands of older PDF files that use a Postscript version of Times-BoldItalic. But, the fonts weren't embedded. When we activated the correct Times font in CS6 and earlier, Times renders the way we expect and prepress is able to do their job. With CC, the Postscript font is just invisible. Including the font in ~/Library/Fonts does nothing. Including the font in /Applications/Adobe Indesign CC 2017/Fonts does nothing. All newer Adobe products (Acrobat DC, Indesign CC 2017, Illustrator CC 2017) use the Times set that is part of the OS. The OS itself uses the Postscript when I activate it via Spotlight and Preview. Indesign CS6 and earlier and Acrobat XI and earlier render the Postscript font correctly. Just not newer Adobe products. I've been scouring the internet, but can't find a way to make Postscript fonts work in CC. I doubt I'm alone in this. Has anyone found a workaround?

Hi all, I installed Zapf Dingbats (Open Type Font) and it can be used in all Windows Applications but not in the Adobe Apps. Any idea what's going wrong? Thanks
I am creating a logo, however I just want to know which is a best font for a logo?
I tried the Adobe chat but they directed me here. I have a few fonts I have purchased over the years, I can see them in my registered account but there is no link to download them. I know I can install CS6 etc via the creative cloud app, but fonts are not where to be found. I had things like Font Folio 11 and individual fonts that I purchased and would like to download and install them again but I can't find out how or where to do that. Anybody know? Thanks!

Can I use an adobe open type font for a tee shirt I want to design and sell?
I'm using Adobe Garamond Pro in a Microsoft Publisher file. The font displayed fine in 2014, but when I edit, "Th" switches to a number (first 8, then 6, I think?). There is no issue with the bold or italic versions of the font--just with the normal one. I font came preinstalled with my Office Suite software, so I can't reinstall it without purchasing it, which I'm not authorized to do. Help!
Hello everyone I need to know how to manage my 6500 fonts (including families) - "and yes I like them all"Is there a way to see them even deactivated on some softwares like Photoshop/ Illustrator and InDesign? Because every time I reopen them they seem to crash every time I try to use the type tool.. I though about converting them into some other type of files like vectors but it would be hard to work with that, I think..Anyone??p.s.the worst thing is when we "deactivate" them they stop showing on the softwares like Photoshop and so on, I'm gonna have to create a suitcase for them
