Cuando estoy trabajando en Illustrator y abro algún archivo que tiene una tipografía nueva, bloquea mi pantalla de Illustrator y solo puedo cerrarlo desde la barra de tareas y pierdo todo el trabajo realizado. Si puedo volver a cerrar el aviso la 2º vez que abro el archivo. Siempre que abro un archivo y contiene una tipografía que no tengo guardada bloquea automáticamente todo. ¿Cómo podría solucionarlo?

I have learned in this community, that OpenType PS, is NOT actually the old postscript file. However, I have fonts that include both OpenType - PS and OpenType - TT. Which is the best format to use, and why do some fonts include both? I prefer to delete the ones I don't use so there is no confusion later on. Thanks.

I ordered "Indesign"  yesterday eveninig and I figured out that there is not available a Monotype Corsiva font.  I am used to work in it, I have a logotype in Monotype Corsiva too ... How can I get it in? I found out that it is possible to buy this font, but ... can I isntall it into Indesign after than? And if it works, how can I do it? I see only Typekit fonts so I am not sure, if I pay for Monotype Corsiva, that I will be able to add this font to others in menu. It is the most useful font after Times Ner Romance for me and I really need it. Thank you for help and sorry for english ... Romana

I have a few colleagues who have downloaded the full Gotham typeface set. But it's split under two different sets in the Adobe (and any other type using software). For example, they can select 'Gotham' in the main set choice, and then in the font options, they can choose 'Thin, Extra Light, Bold, Extra Bold etc', but to choose Gotham Light, they need to go back to the main set options, and choose 'Gotham Light' in itself, and then under that set, you can choose 'Light' again, so it ends up as 'Gotham Light' - 'Light' It's worth noting this exact set works fine on mine and another colleague's laptop. And I can choose Gotham as the main set, and then every single font variability is available in the sub menu. We can't work out, why on earth this is happening on most of my colleagues' laptops, but not ours. Does anyone have any ideas to try please. I've attached a couple of mocked up screenshots to demonstrate what I mean.

Hello, I'm talking about degular font. Degular font should support special characters (talking about czech language now) but even though I added the font to a website (wordpress) some special characters (č, ě, ř ...) are not displayed in the degular font.In the settings of the web project, I have ticked that font should support these characters.I have tried importing the font in the header and in the css using Import [link to forum member's page removed by moderator], none of those two works as expected.I tried this:   and this:  I tried both options with and without OpenType Features.Thank you in advance for any help. 

I use webfonts on some webprojects.Sometimes I have to wait two minutes for loading the fonts.Waiting for use.typekit.netHow can I fix this problem?

I've had the same issue for over a month now which is an issue i've never experienced before and can't work out why it's happening. When I instll a font (not adobe) - my font installer asks me to "keep both" "replace" or "skip" when trying to install different variations such as "bold" "regular" etc.. this never used to happen, but when i select "keep both" it shows in my font installer than i have "5 styles" of the font, but in premier and after effects only the last version installed such as "bold" shows up and I can't see or use the different variations. It's essential I get this issue fixed asap so any help will be appreciated. All apps in my creative cloud are up to date and I have tried with many different fonts and have uninstalled and re installed them and that doesn't solve the problem either. I work with brands every week and currently having to rely on designers in my team to do any text for me which isn't ideal. Thank you. 

Hey. Do you maybe know if/which fonts are going to support exclamation/question commas and if there is a way to walk around it? I'd need it for Minion in particular.

Hello, my friend is a user of Adobe Premiere Pro which contains a package of around 2000 different fonts. I was unable to find a medieval font similar to Fust & Schoeffer Font or Schwabach font. Can anybody please write me exact names of fonts that are similar to the old gothic l, handwritten or calligraphy medieval fonts? Thank you in advance. 

Why is there a different style of letter 'a' (and 'e') for italic in some fonts?i.e.: CalibriI personally don't like how this looks and would avoid using fonts that have this mix.Can someone please explain to me why this is done?

Hello guys. I was wondering if it's possible to pay a subscription for one month and sell a logo with a typeface that I want to download from Adobe fonts. After I cancel my subscription what happens if I already sell the logo to the client? Will it remain legal as I made it while being subscribed to Adobe CC or it doesn't work that way. I am not using Adobe in my main workflow but I liked a font and I was curious if this is possible.

Is the Haettenschweiler font now permanently removed from Adobe Font Folio?Really nice if Adobe has done that as I just used it in a corporate identity meaning I have to find a similar font, obtain client approval and then flipping change the website, social media, business cards, letterhead, kit folders, brochures and everything else.Please advise what happened and where I can find it.

I create SVG/PNG Files for Etsy, and I go to school at Full Sail University; the program doesn't let me download my own fonts from my computer because the administrator controls it. Am I allowed to use the Adobe fonts and fonts I downloaded from Creative Cloud for SVG and PNG files? Or are they copywritten? 

Hello,  I have a question about the fot licence. Based on the FAQ excerpt below, do I understand correctly that I can't use a font for wordmark that consists only of the company name typed in a font (i.e. consists of unmodified glyphs and has adjusted tracking)? Does the information below also apply to wordmarks?Can I use the fonts to make stencils, stickers, jewelry, or anything else that features a single letter or glyph?No. You may not create a product that is individual glyphs from the font files, e.g. an alphabet set of each letter to spell out your own phrase. Creating products from individual glyphs is not allowed in any format. Thank you!

From the trials I did, neither “AdobeCopyright” nor “Trademark” in the cidfontinfo file was used in the final OTF.This is a font generated by AFDKO, with some information written into “Trademark” field of cidfontinfo file, and it did not show up.This is a font generated by fontforge, with copyright information added manually. 

I am looking to print out a BOOK for hands-on display, and I want to add small variances to the size, shape, opacity, and tilt of the script font.  We have that capability in Brushes, but I'm not seeing anything in Fonts. It would be great if it's not " Wink Wink!" Is there such a thing?I've been thinking of separate layers and a layer mask with slight adjustments, but I think that would be a mind-numbing waste of time! 

Hi all, I have two styles from the Franklin Gothic Std family:Linotype - FranklinGothicStd-ExtraCond.otdLinotype - FranklinGothicStd-Roman.otd When I attempt to install them they overwrite one another and are flagged as duplicates, meaning I can only use one at a time. How can I install them as a family? I used to have them both installed without issue, not sure if an update has changed things.  I'm on Mac OS Ventura 13.1Thanks in advance

I'm looking for a license for the font Edition, which I believe was created in 1992 by the now defunct company Altsys (Metamorphosis was their font software, I think). From what I understand, Altsys was bought by Macromedia, & Macromedia was bought by Adobe. I can't find info on the use of this font online, so any useful information regarding this issue would be appreciated. Thanks.

I am having trouble with fonts held in Font Book not showing up in Photoshop - is it not possible to access fonts through my mac Font Book folder? Do I have to move all of my fonts into Adobe Fonts? 

I have at least 80 fonts that are not functional. They all are listed with six rectangles [] [] [] [] [] [] beside their font name. How can they be deleted? My Photoshop is on a Mac. I have opened Font Book within Launchpad and searched for the dysfunctional fonts but they do not appear there. Yet they do appear in the Photoshop font drop-down.  I searched for the names of the dysfunctional fonts in fonts.adobe.com and they do not exist there. I have not been able to delete them within Photoshop or Font Book. There are so many dysfunctional fonts that it really complicates efforts to select a font while using Photoshop.  Is there a way to remove or delete unwanted fonts?

Can somebody help me with this , I downloaded the font and installed it though when using on it the font is still missing. Please see image what I mean .Is there any chance that I can use this font ?The font is PingFang SC Medium and I'm currently using Windows. 

Hi, the Utopia font, which always worked in Czech texts, it has no longer support for the Czech language? And many other fonts which were for Czech they dont´work anymore too.  Why? Thank you
