Type & Typography

Hi,I am not able to solve my current typekit issue. I normally have access to fonts that I work with and show in Quark. The fonts would at least show in the font book. They are selected in typekit but do not seem to be syncing. I'm hoping this is just some simple fix but I haven't located it yet. I used to be able to make this work. Thank you for any suggestions.

I created a flyer in Adobe Photoshop 2020 CC and used the font "Gabriola." I also used it in Illustrator 2020 CC for a logo design (shown so you can see the font). However, when I try to access the files on my other computer (both computers use the same Creative Cloud account), neither Illustrator nor InDesign recognizes the font. In fact, both programs want to change it to something else. How do I get this font on all of my Adobe products on both computers?  

Using Universal Type Client and searching with it to find Type 1 fonts in our library. However, it doesn't list Type 1 specifically. Can you tell me if any of the search options = Type 1.Not sure if Open Type PS and PostScript = Type 1 or not and it doesn't show in the font info.

What is the name of the font on this image attached? I think it is a Adobe font.

Hi! I have a MacBook Pro with the M1 Pro chip and MacOs 12.1. My creative cloud app is version 5.6.0.789.I have tried multiple ways to use fonts from "Adobe Fonts", activating them online and in app. I've also tried to open the creative cloud desktop app and go to fonts. When doing so progress wheel keeps spinning without displaying anything. I've done everything recommended by Adobe without success. I can't use any of the fonts I like when I use any of the Adobe programs, which is incredibly frustrating.  Have any of you exeperienced the same? What can I do? 

The first letter is supposed to be an É, but the diacritic is not rendered in the browser and instead shows up as just E.  The issue seems to be only on rendering the web version since the downloaded version of the typeface on Figma renders fine at all weights with the expected diacritic É, as shown below:   

Greetings all. I use Greek fonts in Premiere Pro mostly, but it is impossible remember which are the greek fonts in the drop down list. Is it possible to create a font library that I can add my Greek fonts so I don't have to search for them all the time?

While reading "Fonts for Clean & Stylish Web Experiences" I quickly realized the font I wanted WAS the font used in the headline; it is NOT however named in the article. Hello, I work on still life and many times have to replace the deco/text on bottles with provided illustrator files. I know how to export the illustrator text but wanted to know if anyone knew of any good books on transforming and warping text properly? I find it very difficult ! and helo would be great! 

Hi,I would like to bring some of my Type 1 font library over to Windows 10 from Windows Vista...I got a new laptop and was dismayed when my fonts wouldn't load. Is it possible to convert these fonts? If so, what is the best way to go about that?

I have some fonts activated but they don't appear in Framer. Do I need to download them somehow for this?

Having issues using Adobe Typekit, specifically the font Rubik. This is a Google Font which I have heardGoogle has updated. The font in Adobe Typekit appears noy updated. Using Kodak Prinergy Connect, Ver 8.4 and recieving gly error.Anyone else experience this or know if Adobe will be updating the font

I have 20 seat license for Font Folio v9 (registered in my Adobe ID)but https://account.adobe.com/products does not show a download link, unlike with other perpetual licenses I own.I spoke with a chat agent, and they did not have a download link for v9. Anyone can help me with it?I understand CS2/3/4 activation servers are now deprecated.Would I need to validate my v9 serial some way before I can use this on a brand new computer?

Hello, I purchased Font Folio 11.0 years ago and need to install it to my new computer which does not have a disc drive. I have the serial number. How do I install this to my new computer? Thank you in advance.

Hi,I've just been on the phone to Adobe for half an hour to have some questions answered about Font Folio 11.1, however they have sent me here to ask them....1. How much Aus $ is the Font Folio 11.1 package?2. Do we need to link this with our existing Creative Cloud accounts?3. How to we receive the files - are they downloadable or do they come on a disc (if so, we're in Australia... how long will it take to receive these...)?4. We have 5 different Creative Cloud accounts on our 5 different computers, does purchasing the '5 pack' option cover all of these computers and is the license valid for installation on the 5 different computers?5. Can we use these fonts in the creation of logos? Is the license for all 2400+ of the fonts commercial and does the Adobe license cover all of the fonts for logo creations etc.?Thanks!

Hi everyone, I have a relatively new MacBook Pro and iMac, each signed in to separate CC accounts with all apps updated (I run two separate businesses, but regularly work on both computers through the help of synced Dropbox folders). Example of issue:I create a Pages file using Adobe Fonts on my Macbook (say, using Sofia Pro) and save it to Dropbox. When I open the same file in the iMac, the font displays as missing, and uses an unfamiliar naming convention ("SofiaPro-Regular"), I then open the font dropdown only to see Sofia Pro listed right above the supposedly missing font. Can someone help me understand how to fix this? I have quit CC, restarted CC, disabled and reenabled Adobe Fonts, uninstalled the fonts and reinstalled them. This same problem also occurs between Adobe CC files (InDesign, Illustrator). 

Hey there,I have downloaded some multiple master fonts from Internet. It seems only have .pfb and .mmm files for the font. How I can install the font on Windows 10? I googled a bit. It seems for one master font, it will need pfm and pfb for installation. Do I need pfm too for the multi-master font? if so why they don't share the pfm file inside the downloaded ZIP file? What tool I can use to generate a pfm file based on the pfb and mmm files?I am new to Type 1 font on Windows. Thanks a lot! Cozzy

Added Adobe Typekit to Website and All Icons Are Now Clobbered And Display Adobe Letters and Numbers Instead of Icons.  It is a Divi Wordpress website. How do I get the Icons to insert the proper icon again?

Does Font Folio 11.1 come as a download or on a DVD? I purchased it today thinking it would be a download, but there is no download link available in my account.

I've been through help chat and screen sharing multiple times and was eventually directed by customer service to post ehre instead. I've noticed with a lot of fonts I activate through Adobe Fonts, that they are not properly tagged under the category they're supposed to be. For example, Henderson Slab, while showing up under the Slab Serif classification on Adobe Fonts, is never under the Slab Serif fonts when I filter options in my Character Palette of a program. Gomme Sans, while being under Sans Serif fonts on Adobe Fonts, does not show up in the Sans Serif classification in apps after being synced. They show up in the full font list, but not when filtered. This is across the board with every program that includes font filtering and is regardless of app update status, updating Adobe Cloud, or removing and re-syncing the fonts. It just seems to be an issue where fonts aren't tagged properly for their category to transfer over, which kind of defeats the whole purpose of the c

I'm on a Windows 10 OS, having a problem in all Adobe apps (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).Rather than rely on Adobe's sketchy connectivity issues, we bought 2 fonts (it's been a problem for years, resulting in lost productivity).We bought the same ones we were "renting" from Adobe, Tisa and Proxima Nova.I deactivated ALL of the active fonts from Adobe, then installed the new fonts.I used the Find/Replace Font dialog box in InDesign to replace the Tisa fonts with no incident.Strangely, I didn't have to do that for Proxima Nova. I figured it was because the font names were the same (slightly different with Tisa).After many hours of running in circles, I've made zero progress.I know the programs are pulling the font from Adobe because I can see the path in the Find/Replace Font dialog box (see graphic). Also, the cloud icon is next to the font names in the drop-down list (see graphic).I unchecked the Auto-Activate box in Preferences > File Handling.I disabled Adobe Fonts in the CC
