Hi. I added a voiceover yesterday using a cheap headset with a microphone attached and the results were pretty good with the cinematic feature in Premier Pro. I was wondering if others here use the same thing. I was thinking of getting the ones in the link below. I kind of like the fact that I don't have a mic boom attached to my desk, but maybe that's the better route? What is optimum RAM and RTX GPU choice for PP? I'm trying to purchase a Desktop PC and dedicate it's use to Premiere Pro. Found an ASUS 2 GHz ryzen_7_4700u and 16 GB DDR4 RAM. Wondering about the Graphics Coprocessor AMD Radeon Vega Graphics. Will it do the job today and when the 2023 upgrades come out. Your thoughts are greatly appreciated. If you have other ideas on a setup that would not break the budget, would love to check them out.

Dear Crowd,I need a new Macbook and am a bit lost at the choices, trying to figure out what will do the job without spending money for something I don't really need. This is my use-case:- running audition for editing (occasional multitrack but mainly just the single track edit)- running premiere parallel to that, but only using it to transcript audio-files (a feature audition oddly doesnt provide) , so a list of 4-5 audiofiles will be opened in premiere- Apart from that I sometimes use photoshop or lightroom (still haven't developed a preference) for editing pictures (basic edits so far but trying to advance on that)- usually I don't run these photo editing programs at the same time as audition/premiere, but it can happen that I leave the latter open for convenience because I don't want to load in the files again, but just keep them open to work on later.At the same time I like to keep the browser open with up to 10 tabs, a writing program (libre office) with up to 6 windows open

Hi there,premiere rush only uses 4 of the 16 available threads to render a video. And even the 4 do not seem to be 100% utilized. The GPU is not used at all. Rendering takes more than ages for a rather short video. Even after waiting 10 minutes the rendering seems to be at 0% progress.My hardware:CPU: Ryzen 7 3800XGPU: 2080SRAM: 16GB Thanks for your help.

I am nearly in tears. When I open Photoshop it works fine. When I try to open Premiere pro or after effects, the splash screen pops up and them goes away. Davinci doesn't even try. About six months ago I upgraded my old i7 machine (HP EliteDesk 800 G1, 32 GB RAM) from Windows 7 to Windows 10. For a long time before doing that I had to avoid any CC app updates because of compatibility. When I did the upgrade to Windows 10 and updated all the CC apps I was flagged by Photoshop and Premiere Pro that the GPU was too old. I got lucky and found that one GPU existed that would still work in my machine that satisfied the CC apps: GeForce GTX 1050 Ti. After installing that GPU six months ago all has been working flawlessly. I kept CC updates disabled and avoided manual updates because I didn't know how far into the future that GPU would still be adequate. I want to now attempt to update all CC apps again. Yes, I can and will do a backup image of the machine first in case there are any issues after the updates, but I'd like to avoid restoring the system from an image. I haven't been able to find a current list of approved GPUs for Photoshop and Premiere

2019 MBP with 32gb, running Monterey: My eGPU (Sonnet breakaway box with AMD 6600 xt) isn't recognized or utilized in PP24 at all. No GPU accelerated effects are being rendered at all (render line stays red, shows no areas of yellow) and time line is extremely chopy and unuseable.  It works fine in PP23, and "prefer external GPU" is selected in the "get info" window.  anyone else experiencing this?  I'd love to upgrade, but certainly not if 24 can't utilize the eGPU- the performance on 24 is absoutely terrible compared to 23- really unuseable.  

I am first time user of of a Macbook air m2 with Ram 24GB and 1TB storage I was wondering if I will be able to run photoshop and illustrator on this laptop?
