Adobe Needs an Affordable, One-Time Purchase Option for Hobbyists
Not everyone who uses Adobe software makes money from it. Some of us simply enjoy creating things.
Paying around $55 every month is a lot for a hobby, especially when it adds up year after year.
Most casual users don't need every advanced feature. We just need reliable basic editing tools.
Why not offer an affordable Adobe Lite version with a one-time purchase and a perpetual license?
Users could keep using the version they purchased and choose to pay for upgrades when they actually need new features.
Ideally, Adobe could also keep print-ready PDF export compatible with current printing standards, so hobbyists can still send their designs to professional print shops.
I genuinely enjoy Adobe products, but the subscription model makes it difficult to justify using them for personal projects.
I hope Adobe will consider offering more flexible options instead of focusing only on recurring subscriptions.
Creativity shouldn't require a monthly subscription forever.
