Acrobat Reader

Hello,I can't see my PDF images anymore (I could before). I have selected "always" for the overprint preview and have selected "show large images", but I still can't see the images. Can someone help?(I'm on Mac) Thanks

Hi, when I open a pdf form developed in Adobe Acrobe Pro/DC with signature fields in Edge/Chrome which is using Adobe Reader DC on Windows 10 business, click any of the signature field, it asks to save the file after signed. But on IE which is using Adobe Reader DC as well, there is no such saving step after signed. Please let us know what is the difference in such Reader DC on the different browsers or has a way to disable the saving step. Thanks,Michael

I use the stamp and digital signature to verify pdf documents.  After this, Adobe asks me to save the changes.  I have always used "save as" and then saved the document to indicate its been verified.  However, today, I cannot save or save as any documents that i have signed.  Adobe takes me through the process but what i have in the folder is a document unrecognisable in any format with half the name removed.Exampleoriginal pdf :  Laptop_PMNT  (openable, readable and editable by adobe) The adobe pdf file symbol indicates that it is a pdf.Post stamping and digital signature,Saved as:  Laptop_PMNT_ssResulting file saved on microsoft 365 :  Lapto (not reopenable, letters chopped off the original name) Empty rectangle indicating it is an unknown file type.  Asks me to search the microsoft store to find a suitable programme to open the file.  Microsoft has no suggestions.  

Hi CommunityI want to make a script which greys out one of two fields, depending on the field which gets a value input.Example: I have field A & B. If field A gets a value then Field B should become read-only/stay empty, and vice versa if field B is the one that's filled.

I had added a signature long time ago in any old version.This signature is still available and can added to any PDF without any problem.But I do not get the options to add a new signature or a new initial.How can this option being activated again?Thanks a lot in advance for any help!

I have not been able to use Adobe Reader for two weeks since my OS ran an update.   I've searched all over for a solution to this, incorporating those on these forums that I can try, but they don't work.  Let me be clear, when I double click on the reader icon, NOTHING HAPPENS.  It doesn't open and then close, it doesn't crash, it's doesn't allow me to go to preferences - nothing.  WHen I go to task manager, it shows reader 32 open in the background.  I need this program to run.  Please help me...

As seen in the photo above, when I open my html file inside adobe only half shows up (horizontally). Is there a way to format it such that I can view the whole thing?Even if it must become smaller.

As I posted in reply to an user, regarding last acrobat DC version 21.007.20091, I found out that the bug is related to an uncought error in those executables when they search for a proxy script (proxy.pac). net::ERR_PAC_SCRIPT_FAILEDline: 104: Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected end of input I didn't notice an error in my proxy.pac syntax, but even if there was, it is not correct for a program not to catch such an exception. Instead those executables keep looping filling up all of your available ram, freezing the PC. If you have such an issue, try:check in your clients "internet options" ->  connections -> LAN settings -> automatic configuration script, if you have one, disable it and check, the problem should be solved. I guess this last acrobat version needs a fast update / patch .......

I've been using Reader Pro extensively to edit and create documents for my work. The copy and paste feature had worked great with transperent PNG images in the past. But I just noticed today that whenever I tried to copy and past some transparent images as I usually do, all I get is a black box. However if I edit the image externally with MS paint I can put it paste it back in the PDF document - but the transperancy is lost. This is causing a huge issue for my work/productivty. I've seen others with this issue searching support forums online but none of the fixes seem to be working for me after this last update. Please assist Thanks,

All of a sudden after the last update my and our users Adobe Reader DC will not allow them to do a file save as unless we run the repair installation. Users are seeing this on Windows pc's with Adopbe Reader DC version 2021.007.20091. The Windows version we are on is Windows 10 21H1. The replair will last and work for a day or two but then is needed to be done again. I have even uninstaled and reinstalled Adobe Rreader DC only to have the same results. Help please.

I'm working on a document in Acrobat Reader (check for updates says I have the latest version), making comments for the document's creator. I can hide comments by pressing ctrl+shift+8, but I can't reveal the comments again by using the same shortcut. I can't find a manual option in the application or a solution online (other than ctrl+shift+8). How do I reveal comments that I've previously hidden? Thanks.

I have tried to install Adobe Acrobat Reader DC on a brand new Samsung Galaxy Book. After setup the update installed Windows 11, I installed Microsoft Office professional 2021 and Chrome (now default browser). I noticed that Microsoft edge was defaulte PDF reader and  Adobe Acrobat reader was not visible in APPs.I started installation via Adobe website and installation did not complete with message "newer version already installed". After several unsuccesful attempts via website and microsoft store I had a look at the C-drive and have found folders containing Adobe incl install.exe file which started installation but showed error code 1406 unable to write to registry.I have contacted Samsung support but they have not been able to help.I have had a look on the adobe website but solutions are only available up to windows 2000.It appears that adobe does not provide chat support for acrobat reader.Any idea how to solve this issue?

Hello, I have been having an error show up since yesterday. See picture for visual:When I open a pdf file there is a very short graphic bug, but then it is displayed as it should be. As soon as I start scrolling or clicking anywhere on the document it turns black, like in the picture. After scrolling further this may or may not disappear, but will reappear again shortly after. Also when I try marking text it will do something like this:I have tried this on various different pdf files of different versions and origins. I have also tried the same files on another PC with the same version of Adobe Acrobat Reader DC (Version 2019.021.20061). The probem occurs on a new Lenovo C340-14API ideapad - Type 81N6. I also occurs regardless of use of touchpad, touchscreen or active pen useage.The drivers are up to date with the Lenovo support website.I have also tried changing the accessibility settings for replacing document colors under Edit>Preferences>Accessibility. Loaded new version of Adobe Reader on laptop and convertion of excell and word documents works but the formating is totally different then the original exel document.  Any suggesting as to how to fix.  My desktop version of Reader is working properly.
