Dear Adobe Community,Thank you in advance for any help or ideas you might have on this question.My client and his team shoot a lot of video and make a lot of PDF reports based on those videos.My client seeks to have a fillable form created in which he can easily add an MP4 (h.264) file to the PDF document and then reference that file several times throughout, incorporating the "Seek-to-Time" function, (or some other JavaScript solution involving the StartAt/ EndAt functions, etc.) to bring up the highlights.  This would allow his field crew inspectors to document their findings, place the video they are recording alongside their notes, and the end-users of such documents would be able to jump right to the points of interest in the video (as each instance would seek to different starting points along the timeline of the same embedded video file).  In an ideal world, the inspector documenting the findings via PDF would be able to use a button or other simple function to add the

I have a double sided PDF that I want to print twice on one piece of paper.  This way I can cut the middle and have two documents that are double sided.  I know how to do it in Microsoft but stumped on Adobe Pro.

Ok, so since I got great help last time, I thought I'd ask another question.  Frankly, I don't know how to go about doing what I want.  So I have 5 fields labeled as follows:School 1, Major 1, Degree 1, Graduation Year 1, School docs 1Degree 1 is a dropdown and School docs 1 is a check box if that matters.Now, what needs to happen is, if the person fills in any of those 5 fields, they NEED to complete the other 4.  Whether that means they can't save it or they can't move out of the box or whatever, i'll leave up to whoever is helping me and whatever is easier.  Initially, I made it so once they got to the school docs 1 checkbox, a popup came up and asked if they had proper documentation and if they hit "no", then it would delete the other 4 fields.  But that doesn't always work because they can just click out of the fields before they even get to the school docs 1 checkbox.And I also have 2 more groupings of those (i.e. school 2, school 3, major 2, major 3...)A

I instaled CS6 master collection (after CS3 Design ST.), but I can't open Acrobat. I was asked for accept user agree., but I can't do this. It doesn't work: after clicking window with accept button back again and again and again the same window.

Hi Acrobat wizards,My work is digitizing old pamphlets for eventual publication on the web. Our scans (~80-200 pages per scan) need to be below 10000kb. We've found that running the "Enhance" Scanned Document (with Recognize Text) option generally shrinks them to a good size. We also recently found the "Edit PDF" section to be helpful, particularly because when we make the scan editable, we can easily delete the grainy backgrounds.However, sometimes when we delete backgrounds, the file size gets much, much bigger (perhaps because of the creation of the editable page?), and sometimes it gets smaller (perhaps because the grey backgrounds are so many pixels?). More often it gets bigger. We've noticed these editable pages cannot be enhanced or shrunk in any way.My question is, is there any way to edit a pdf page then revert the page back to a simple, uneditable image, while still keeping the changes?If not, is there a way to enhance editable pages while keeping the same resolution?Thanks!L

Hello,At the beginning I am a newbie in Acrobat and Javascript.I have create a PDF-form with Acrobat Pro, my next idea is to fill the PDF with related data via an XML-Import. Actual I can import the xml and fill the PDF-Fields hardcoded, this works already via Javascript.My problem actual is, I want to fill the PDF with the XML-data via an for-loop, because we want to use this script in several PDF-forms and not each form has the same amount of fields. HiI am having three checkboxes (Checkbox1, Checkbox2 & Checkbox3). By default the Checkbox3 should be readonly. If Checkbox1&2 got checked the checkbox3 should not be a readonly checkbox. If anyone of the (checkbox1&2) not checked, the checkbox3 should stay as readonly box. Can anyone help with this using javascript.

Hello, (Adobe DC pro, PC, windows 10, with Office 2016)Here is my problem : I export pdf to word doc. My document are not in english but in french.When I open Word document, the language is in english. So there is problem with spell check... every time.I have to change language in word document (every time).Of course, that's not difficult to change, but it's every times - and it's very long with word documents with comments (i.e. Insert comments).I'd like to export pdf to Word document, in french, every time!Thanks.

I successfully saved a PDF to Microsoft Word format using Acrobat XI (Mac). When I tried to do it again, I received an error message telling me the file could not be saved because it was in use. I changed file names, shut down Acrobat and Word. I even restarted. No luck. I still got the error. Anyone know how to fix?

Hi,I´ve got this huge problem, took me all of yesterday trying to solve, in the end I gave up so now I am asking you.I have created a newsletter. The newsletter I created is now a good looking PDF-file. I want to send it to clients by e-mail, not as an attachment to the e-mail. I need to convert PDF to Doc. And when I did, it didn't recognize Russian text. I've got gibberish in Russian. The English part remained fine. And in the drop down menu there isn't an option to choose Russian. I've just paid for nothing because I need this to convert all russian texts. Is there a way to convert or add a language?Thank you

Running Acrobat Standard DC on a scanned technical drawing.I run Enhance Scans and Recognise Text.OCR runs and I correct/delete suspects. Ticking 'Review recognised text' shows text, but when returning to document the recognised text does not appear, just the original image.Using Edit PDF, cannot display text bounding boxes, but I can select the text areas; however, text is not editable. What is happening? Do I need to change setting to make recognised text visible?
