Acrobat SDK

Hey guys,I'm hoping to find an answer to my problem here, as I really don't know what else to try right now...I did a dynamic form for a company with Adobe Acrobat Pro. If I choose something at a dropdown menu, some new forms and a different layer of the PDF becomes visible. I managed to do all this by using form actions and javascript.The problem is that I'm not able to keep the layers visible when I'm saving. Is there a possibility that the form stays exactly as it was when I'm saving? This would be really important because the company would use this form for costumers and they need to see what was visible and checked by their costumers of course.Thanks for the helpPhilipp

Hi,I have some PDFs that contain sensitive information in form of text, like name of person, city, etc. These PDFs need to be duplicated into another copy but while creating duplicated copy, sensitive text needs to be searched & replaced with some dummy text. The replacement is essential to avoid tracing original information, by any fraudulent means. Also, the replaced text requires to be redacted. Finding text is expected to support RegEx, as there could be variations of text that needs to be masked.Could you please assist me how can this be done using Acrobat SDK in C#?Thanks in advance.

Just downloaded but it won't install.  What should i do?

Acrobat DC was installed with a trial of InDesign CC. I bought a license to InDesign, but I cannot uninstall Acrobat DC. When I try, it just flashes once, and then nothing. It doesn't even work and it doesn't show up on the "Add or Remove Programs" list. I have Acrobat X installed on Windows 10 and it works fine, but I keep getting messages to update Acrobat DC, but even when I try that it says it cannot find it. Very frustrating.

Hi,I have created a pdf about 5 pages long. This is created in an IOS application where user signs the contract and is saved as a pdf file.Now this contract has a table three columns and four rows (I can't post it here due to data protection).The pdf saves perfectly and when we view this file in an Internet browser like Chrome or iE everything is fine.The problem is although when we open this file in Adobe Reader the table mentioned above does not appear.I have tried searching the internet but can't find anything. Im running Acrobat Standard DC on a windows 10 laptop. I'm trying to print comments only from a PDF file. The "summarize contents" button on the print page places comments on separate pages but in the body of the PDF (eg at pages 39, 42, 45 etc of the document). I only want to print the comments, and not the rest of the pages. Any help gratefully received!   Bill

HelloI've been asked to develop a form (Acrobat Pro 9), one of the fields (Site) is a drop down list with 400+ options.  Each site has a predetermined 4 digit code attached to it.  The the next field Site Number should show the  4 digit number, what I've been asked to do is set the form up so when the user selects the site name the Site Number field will auto populate auto with the 4 digit code.Can this be done, is it even feasible?  Any suggestions how I can do this or a workaround for it would be appreciated.Be gentle with me I really am a novice.Ellen[Moved from the non-support, general, all-of-Adobe forums Lounge to a product-specific support forum - moderator]

Hi,I wanted to create a calculator simulation using javascript in Adobe acrobat.First I have added dialog box and i have added text box in that.  Again I have added command button for number 1,2,3 etc.  I wanted to display 1 when I am pressing 1 command button,2 when i am pressing 2 and so on.   But i am not getting the values to text box while pressing command button.can any one help me on this?Ariv

I purchased Adobe Acrobat DC. Took days for me to finally get an option to launch my membership. It asked me if I wanted to buy it and i got to a box finally where it said enter the license but there was no where to find it. I signed in and looked for where the license might be and no luck? Now Acrobat is running as a trial again. ???

I have a field named Value when data is entered I want a date field showing the date.

I work at a tax company and my job has a lot of responsibilities and one of my main responsibilities is to quality check and revise tax forms sent to us by our clients. Sometimes these clients send us forms that have an incomplete zip code, address, incomplete FEIN, no electronic signature, incomplete ssn, and the list goes on and on. Anyway I have a coworker who is able to revise and quality check 200+ tax forms usually within a work day. I can maybe do this if I skip my one hour lunch and take a bunch of caffeine pills. Guys I'm killing myself trying to keep up with this guy and yes Its important that I do or I might get the axe from our head of department.Tonight I spent a bunch of time figuring out how to place a text box on the top of each page for an entire pdf document (the amount of pages does not matter, every page gets stamped with my textbox). I figured out how to do this using java script within adobe acrobat 7.My question to you guys is....do you know of any other java scr

tonight i exportd beautifuly leasible document in pdf to convert to word and the outcome was just huge photo in word, that is not converting will the company refund me the fee paid for the service not realized? thank you Helena

Need to setup a button that prints the document, to the current directory with a specific phrase (name) and a date stamp. Do not need user interaction.  Example: importantstuff_9-5-2016.pdf.(also, just thinking, will never need it, but could someone also lend some insight on error checking to see if the "doc" already exists - and if so incrementing the stamp? Example: importantstuff_9-5-2016a.pdf)(thanks in advance you guys are great!)

When we try to attach a pdf to our email, we get an error message that says the file is still open. it is not open. any help?

I am creating a form from an existing word document, however I am missing the button for 'this document requires Signatures' in the Select a file screen. Is there another way I can add this? I need recipients of the form to be able to type their signature or electronically write it on a touch screen (e.g. tablet).

Hello,Years ago, I purchased CS3 and still have the disc. In 2012, I upgraded to CS6 which was a download. Needed to purchase a new computer today. I was able to get the CS6 disc icon on the desktop of the new computer. However, when I try to install it, an "invalid serial number" message pops up even though I still have the original box. The CS6 serial number was also tried just in case.  I was understanding that adobe will allow up to 2 computers to use the software. Can anyone assist me in getting the program on the new iMac?TIA,Theresa

I downloaded the trial version of Acrobat and received error 1328.  Searched the website and determined it could be the reader causing problems, so I uninstalled A. Reader and re-ran the Acrobat install.  Still received error 1328.  I do have Photoshop Elements 11 installed and I do not wish to uninstall it.  Other options?  I certainly can't evaluate the application if it won't install.

Can I alter total ink coverage in Acrobat CC or does it have to be changed in PhotoShop? I know how to view total ink coverage in Acrobat, but is there a way to alter it in Acrobat as well?

New laptop running Windows 10; i5/8G.  Installed Microsoft Office 16 and Acrobat DC.  Acrobat successfully opens pdfs.  MS word opens word docs.  Switch back to acrobat and the pdf closes.  If I reverse the order, opening a word doc and then try to open a pdf, acrobat "flashes" for a second and then closes.  Tried downgrading to Office 2007 and Acrobat XI, experienced exactly the same problems.  Any help would be appreciated.

acrobat install downloads to 5% and stops locking the computer and requiring a hard restart.

How would I restore all defaults in Acrobat XI Pro? I seem to have screwed them all up!Thanks,-carole

Have Windows 7 Ultimate and Adobe Acrobat 9. Had some windows updates and Adobe stops converting 40% thru a file, and freezes system.
