Please add the ability to add pattern swatches to a library like you can with colours. If you want to save a pattern to the library you have to add a box filled in with the pattern to the library as a graphic. Then to use it you need to drag that graphic from the library onto the document page, embed it, add that pattern to the document swatch palette and then you can apply it to another shape. It's a very clunky process
I use creative cloud to share the social media posts I make for clients. They have a permanent link to their own folder where they can enter and see but they have to find the post that’s schedule for this day. Instead if they could sort by most recent they wouldn’t have to find anything. It would just be the first file. They don’t have creative cloud they use the web view. And I can’t ask a client to download an app only for my artworks.
I’d like to be able to sort assets by size and date added.
I would like to be able to add tags to files in my Adobe Cloud Documents. It would be a column in the file view that I can search by, sort by, and filter by. Thank you!
Can you please allow me to combine my document cloud files into my creative cloud so I can sync both to my local hard drive. Or allow OneDrive to access my document cloud.
Please use the file name of the asset added to the Library panel as the name of the asset in panel. Calling something "Artwork 4" is useless to me. It really seems like the people designing the new upgrades have little real-world experience with this program and/or y'all fired your UX team. In the first 30 seconds of trying to use the Library Panel, it has proven itself to now be a useless time suck. This is the opposite of what it used to be.Please stop taking features away when you do updates. Please get a new batch of people for whatever remains of your UX team to interview. Please include industry professionals with over 10 years experience. We know what we need.
-Add "Print" option in online Share for Review linkLove the new Share for Review Tool, yet some of my clients want to print out the Pages to look over. I'd love for them be able to print themselves, within the link without me having to give them a separate PDF version.
We incorporate Share For Review to proof most, if not all, of our marketing assets, specifically in InDesign. The main need would be saving versions of review updates. I work in separate documents and then move into a review document to create a redundancy for corruption errors. Mostly, I remember to double-check all of the comments before deleting the previous pages and updating the new content, but there have been instances where I didn't catch something and then the comments are all "unmapped" without any way of going back. If each update link saves as a version in cloud, then I could go back to review in case this happens or the file is corrupted.
There used to be an option to add all selected images to a library as separate library items. Please bring this back. Dragging things from a page into the Library one at a time is tedious and defeats much of the purpose of the Library. I used to drop all the images for a project onto a page and then add them to a library separately. It was easy and efficient. Please stop taking features away when you update things.
With the latest update, Bridge no longer recognizes that I am logged into my account. Annoying.
Hi, I use a lot of preview images In layouts before finalising which ones to license. Once I have done this they remain in the lineup with preview images. It would be so handy to be able to filter/group/sort by licensed/unlicensed so I don't have to manually scroll through, select and drag licensed images into a folder.
It would be so nice when sharing a document directly from the app, that other persons who open the link could also make a download to PDF.Thank you so much !
SHARE FOR REVIEWThere are some glitches on this new feature. When sending, the receiver gets an "enter password screen". When there was none created. So they can't access. Then an "error to getting invited people" keeps popping up.Need this fixed to get access to all users whether they are CC or not users. This way clients can access and give feedback, not just group creative associates.Would like to see:• Access to all CC and non CC users...to review and share comments on projects.• Have CC recognize and keep track of the same file/link/comments to track updates without having to create a new review.• Add folders to save old comments, and to keep track of old remarks/edits done on separate dates• Get confirmation that the file was received to review or has been shared.• Confirmation that viewer has received/ opened the file. • A push notification you can send in case the file is idle and hasn't been opened - to notify/alert the end user, it's a HOT project that needs attention ASAP.•&
Love the feature Share for Review directly in INDD - to allow for real-time cloud reviewing. It would really help our workflow to have a "save" feature to save down a reviewers comment in a point of time (memorializing a version or draft). This would allow us to implement this great and efficient tool into our system / current workflow (consisting of a server). You have a similar save feature when exporting to PDF and sharing a PDF file for others to comment.
I cannot see any history for my synced documents to Adobe Assets, and I guess the feature only works with documents in the cloud, that I do not use. Aside from the problem of having two places to store documents to Adobe cloud, having different features for them is also problematic.I just found this tool panel and there is no history in my documents, whereas if I go to Creative Cloud synced assets, the exact same History icon is there, but no statuses are produced in the PS app. Why can't I use this with my synced files? Instead, I have to go to my browser and look for the file and then go to a previous state.
Compare to Selective Sync (requested at the link below) Smart Sync (Dropbox naming) allow to see all the folders and files even if they're not sync locally (so you can search, have a preview…). And it allows in a right click to quickly bring back the file in local or to put it online. It will be great to have a similar feature! Here the Selective Sync feature request:https://creativecloudassets.uservoice.com/forums/905290-feature-request/suggestions/31653889-selective-syncHere the Dropbox Smart Sync explanation page:https://www.dropbox.com/smartsync
I think there needs to be a way to mark a review as completed without it getting removed completely. This would allow for double checking and archiving updates to a document.
On some projects it's difficult to find the marker associated with a text comment even with the color change and animation. Please make them more visible, or give the user more options for the appearance of the markers. For example: In a large busy layout, larger markers would be helpful. Or, in a dominantly blue layout, yellow markers might be a solution. So an option for the user to enlarge the markers and change their colors could be the answer. And/Or if give users an option to zoom to the marker from the text so that the marker becomes prominent on the screen. I don't know what the best answer is, but time is money and it would be nice to not be playing Where's Waldo with the markers.
Just kill Adobe CC Assets - it's an embarrassment that Adobe thinks they can offer this service and years later we cannot download more than one file at a time.Kill it. Tell everyone to use Drop Box and save yourselves further embarrassment.Your software is enough embarrassment. So many bugs in InDesign - I just simply do not have the time to file bug reports any more.Adobe just sends us to these forums to figure their stuff out for them.Pathetic.
Add Ability to unlink/detach an item of the library, to be able to manage/modify it without changing the master
I've just ruined ALL of the clients' designs. I've changed a cloud smart objects (asset from a shared library) in Photoshop and saved and closed that cloud asset. Now all the designs synced that changed asset and THERE IS NO WAY to go back...Please do some basic versioning for cloud libraries assets like PSBs and vectors. This is crucial for teamwork especially when some new designer joins a team and you have to share "edit" access to the Library. It's NOT SAFE to use Libraries in production until then.
Right now - my files appear in Creative Cloud by default ...I want them to be in the Sync folder (Private link) by default (as an option for me)why?that way - they will auto sync to my desktop and I can pull a copy off to an external drive - so I have my own 2nd copies etc
Please update the commenting function to enable the owner to drag/change the order of all comments, AND tie the owner's comments to the element over which they are anchored (perhaps by enabling comment management in the application?) so that the comments will always show up in the order that a wire frame is laid out (e.g. let's stop having new comments regarding items at the top of page be located at the bottom of the comments list just because someone forgot to add them until AFTER adding a whole page's worth of comments)
Indesign: Share For Review exports images in the lowest quality to the point is unreadable. This specifically happens with my imported images from CC Libraries.I am assuming behind-the-scenes CC Libraries are not being embedded the same way as a standard linked image.
