Hello, I would like to make a recommendation for the introductionof a better way to recover deleted assets for the CC library. I accidentally deleted a group in my conpany's CC library and the undo button appeared for less than a second, when i hovered over it, it disappeared and I lost many assets in an instant. The deleted section of my Creative Cloud program showed no files and I tried to reach out to support but there was so much red tape that i gave up. I ended up having to recreate a new group and manually add all the assets again. This incident highlighted to me that CC library did not have a proper way to recover or undo deleted actions and is an unreliable place to store company assets. Simple addittions like a proper undo button, prompt for mass deletion of files and a better way to recover groups is needed.
I'm annoyed that Adobe removed preset syncing. That would solve all my problems. Instead we are forced to use Libraries, which don't allow for app specific assets like photoshop brushes. Give us a solution that syncs photoshop's (or any app's) assets and presets across devices so the user experience isn't different everywhere they use their apps. For example, there should be a straightforward way to save all my brushes in a library so I can go to another of my PCs and see them all, or so that a team member can see them all in a shared library.
Can Libraries organisation be made simpler?Selecting individual items to move to another library takes so long especially as the popup window is so small.Merging Libraries would be so useful. Selection of multiple objects to say add multiple colours rather than. each one individually could save a lot of time. Single object option or multiple, as in Asset Export window is what I mean.
I currently us 5 computers and switch between them every day i would like for there to be a better lic management that i can sign out easyer to switch computers faster also remove bridge from requiring the lic and fix the lic check lag i get on all my programs. i beleve that if i install adobe bridge and acrobat reader that there should be a lic free version. bridge will allow you to preview files delete and lable and rate but no pro fetures that will link you to apps. and if you try to open a app required document like a PSD or AI or ID file ... point them to adobe reader and let them know so that they can preview and sort files this way i can use the server without a lic to just view and sort my project documents and no need to switch lic accounts all the time
When working with Creative Cloud Libraries, folders are generated in the following locationsFor windows: [Local WIndows Drive]:\Users\[Username]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Creative Cloud Libraries\LIBSFor MacOS: [Username]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Creative Cloud Libraries/LIBSAll files in the Library are downloaded to the local folder, not just the ones you work with.At the time of writing, these are not movable, they are not creative cloud files and do not follow the preferences when moving your "Creative Cloud Files" folder. When working in an org, these libraries can grow to a large volume (300GB+)If these folders could be set in preferences to be moved to a different location (like an external drive, network drive, or cloud drive) that could help mitigate storage issues on laptops and small storage PCs
I have extra "My Libraries" and don't want to select/empty them one-by-one. I'd like to "select all" for empty/duplicate libraries. OR, going forward, no library should allowed to be created w/ the same name, so you're forced to name the library and will be less likely to have duplicates or empty libraries.
In academia, students come and go every year and we often get requests to recover their data after they become and "Inactive user" in our Admin Console. When trying to find users on the "Inactive users" tab in Storage, there is no search tool as is made available in the "Active users" tab. In my experience, I am mostly asked; exclusivly, by inactive users to look to find their storage and never asked to find "Active users" as they can still access their storage data. I would like to request that you also include that search tool on the "Inactive users" tab as it would make it easier to find these user than it is now. Right now I need to search page by page by page... until I finally find the user. I find this method extremely tedious and time consuming. As you clearly have the capability of including the search tool for Active users, I find it odd that you have not found that it would be more beneficial to also include it on the "Inactive users" tab. It might also be nice hav
Is it possible to have Adobe set the Libraries & Brands in the online view of a library to be default set to “View by group” instead of “View by type”? We have very organized groups that that display very effectively as we have organized everything by group. But the default “View by type” just lumps it all in one disorganized jumble. To get it to view the “View by group” mode you have to set it each time you enter a library, and each time you view an item and then go back into the library it reverts back to “view by type” it is very frustrating and would be much more user friendly if Adobe would set the View by group as the default view type. Please pass this on to the ones who make those decisions, it would be an easy thing to implement and would improve the user experience greatly, Thank you!
Almost every client I have wants to download a PDF from the "Share for Review" link. You should make that an option to turn off and on by the creator.
"Export pour les écrans" direct vers Bibliothèque... Pour stocker et partager un élément graphique dans un Bibliothèque en SVG il faut passer par un export vers un fichier SVG puis l'importer dans la bibliothèque. Pourquoi il ne serait pas possible via la palette "Export pour les écrans" de sélectionner "Ma Bibliothèque" en plus ou à la place d'un dossier sur disque?Comme c'est le cas pour la création d'une couleur... Merci
SCENARIO: When dragging selected artwork from an Illustrator file to a Library, the asset uploads as a bloated Ai file. (Same when uploading a layer from Photoshop)REQUEST: Would LOVE to be able to designate the file type when adding an asset. For example, a vector icon in Illustrator as an SVG file, or a raster image in Photoshop as a JPG. CURRENT WORKAROUND: Export the artwork as an SVG or JPG file, then drag from the desktop/finder onto the application and into an open Library panel.
I've seen other users suggest this—I'd really like to see a print option available from right in the Share For Review feature in InDesign. I like Share for Review because of how quickly I can export a file for clients and have their feedback appear directly in InDesign. But there's no print option available like in Acrobat, and lots of my clients print out my work for proofreading. Because of this I often end up also having to send a PDF, which is tedious when I'm sending batches of 5+ files over, sometimes multiple times a day.
I've uninstalled illustrator, deleted and remade the libraries folder, and signed out and into my Adobe account. Closing and reopening illustrator is the only fix for a 1 time use of an asset from the library. This is a ridiculous process I've been repeating for a month.
It would be nice to be able to change the size of the thumbnails in the cc library!
In InDesign (Mac) I'd love the ability to scale down the CC Libraries list view (both the preview image and text) like pages panel has - Grid view is too big so I use list view but work on 8 different brands at once and between colours, logos, various object group assets, I find I have to expand it a ton and it takes up so much screen real estate. I'd love to be able to scale it tiny like swatches or links panels are. You can do this for parent pages in the pages panel too, can we have smaller options in the CC library one?
Hello, it would be really nice to add a scale section when sharing something for review. Our creative team at times needs to view items at 100%. It's hard to tell how big or small something is when we don't know if it's at 100% or not. Thanks!
I think it would be great to have the ability to see multiple artboards on a screen in the preview mode when I share a file with my team. Sometimes we are comparing two or three different designs and would like to see them all on one screen rather than having to scroll between them. Or sometimes with social media posts we have a carousel post that looks better when seen all together rather than seperatly.
I would like to drag and drop assets in the library to change their position in the panel. For example, if I add a new color swatch, I want to be able to drag it lower in the list rather than having the colors arranged by modified date or name only. Right now, if I have 3 shades of red and 3 shades of blue and I want to add one more shade of each color, they will be at the top. Unless I rename them, I cannot move them myself. This is especially painful because I cannot sort at all in XD.
I have so many libraries - every project, class I teach, etc. has a library. For every class I teach (a couple per month) I create a shared library for my class then delete later. Having the ability to organize the libraries into groups would be a huge time saver.
If you select multiple text boxes in Illustrator then auto-thread them (type>threaded text>create) it threads them but I can't seem to figure out the rhyme or reason to the order in which it threads them. It's not top-to-bottom, it's not left-to-right, it's not stacking order. It might go in order that the text box was created? That's the most consistent thing I can find, and that doesn't make a lot of sense to me. Here are some ways I wish auto-threading worked: Defaulted to top-to-bottom; left to rightAbility to thread text boxes in the order in which they were clickedEasier way to reorder threaded text boxes (I know you can click the in-and-out ports. However, I'm often working in files a beginner designer who didn't understand how to work with type set up. There are so. Many. Text boxes. Haha I have to migrate all those boxes over to InDesign and it's just been a nightmare. In/out ports are tedious, auto-threading doesn't work consiste
On the "Share for Review" Site, please make it so that the comments posted are listed oldest to newest. I.e. Oldest comments will be at the top of the list, newest at the bottom. Right now, all new comments go to the top of the list, very annoying. The "Share for Review" feature is great though, really enjoying it otherwise!
My creative team has multiple designers in an InDesign file, and multiple editors in the corresponding InCopy file. We've recently started using Share for Review on the InDesign file which has been good, but it'd be really nice if it was integrated better with InCopy as well. For instance, if a designer left a note in Share for Review about copy needing to be cut down to fit in a layout, the Editor would be able to see it in InCopy without having to open the Review link.
There's currently a Google Workspace x Creative Cloud app, but it's currently pretty useless. It says it's for Slides, Docs, and Mail, but only actually kinda works with Mail. I'd LOVE to be able to use Paragraph & Character styles seamlessly between Docs and InDesign, for example. This extension says it can do that, but in my experience and the reviews from others, that's not actually possible yet. This would be HUGE in improving workflow with my creative team. Being able to receive notificaitons on Share for Review comments within Google chat. Integration between Google Docs & InCopy would also be amazing. My creative team does a lot of its brainstorming in Google Slides, and it'd be nice to be able to use CC Library assets in the slides. Again, this is advertised, but not possible.
When downloading files remotely from the Assets Website - it becomes very tedious having to click into each individual file to download - I suggest having an option to select multiple files to download at once or an option to download folders. Thanks Sean
