Hi everyone, I'm new here, and trying to understand everything correctly. I just wanted to ask in terms of ONLY using the Adobe fonts library to create logos, infographics, posters, images etc (only using font within image - not creating websites or anything like that), am I right in understanding there is no limitations for this? So I can use absolutely any font within the Adobe Fonts library as I please in this capacity. I read a page called 'Restricted Fonts' with a short list of fonts but as I understand this just means you may only use the fonts listed within Adobe programmes, so not Microsoft Word for example. Thank you in advance for any help. Thanks Victoria
A font I use regularly (Athelas) suddenly appeared as 'deactivated' in Adobe Fonts so I activated it, but I received an error message saying there is a conflict with a font installed with the same name. I searched my computer and couldn't find it, it's not in my Font Book either, it's not anywhere. However, it's available to be used in InDesign, Illustrator, and even PowerPoint - even when deactivated in Adobe Fonts. I went through all the troubleshooting steps in the troubleshoot guide, but I'm still getting the same error message. Can anyone please help me with this issue? I contacted Adobe Support and it was like they weren't even bothering to read my messages and I got nowhere with them. How can it be available for use, plus creating a conflict, when it's deactivated in Adobe Fonts and there is no font file called 'Athelas' on my computer? I'm on a Mac (Mojave).
Hello, I tried to see if this has been mentioned before and I could not find another post about it (possible I missed one tho!) I am looking for fonts for a project, and in particular was tring to filter down to Serifs with Italics in their families. However, I could not figure out a way to tell from the Search Results view if a family has italics: seemingly the only hint is the number of fonts in the family, and the preview type seems to default to Upright or Roman for most Fonts. Since I am getting 300+ results right now, I would love to narrow it down. Perhaps there is some sort of filters for Italics/Obliques (or Reverse Italics/Obliques!)? Or sorting by the number of fonts in families so I can look at Super families first? Or another creative solution for whittling down this large subset 🙂 Thanks!
Is it there any option where we can check most common matching or pairing fonts of the selected font in Adobe Fonts. Something like the "Popular Pairings" section in Google Fonts? I guess Adobe Sensei could really boost a feature like this.
This is a new one after years of successfully using Typekit.I activated Ratio light, regular, and bold (300, 400, 700) in a project. The light and bold work great, but even hard-coding inline CSS, using both “400” and “regular” for font-weight, 400 defaults to 300, or light.Inspector shows 400 in the Rules and Computed, but it’s still light. Are there any ways to debug this kind of thing? Thanks,Brad
Common fonts, like Proxima Nova, keep showing up deactivated in inDesign 2020. And not all of them... random weights. Even though I own the font, Adobe insists on linking it to fonts.adobe.com. I re-activate it in the CC app and then on-line and it still doesn't work. Can take up to an hour to get them working. Their cloud font system is terrible especially when on deadline to deliver to a printer. Anyone have suggestions on how to permanently link to font files I own and not be overridden by Adobe? Or, how to keep basic fonts from becoming deactivated all the time?
I'm experiencing a super-weird issue with Typekit/Adobe Fonts - it's not loading any javascript for my ip address. The issue affects all websites that use Adobe fonts (I've tested on 2 of mine and Adobe's own website). Here's what I've tried: - Incognito mode: not working- Clear cache: not working- Different browser: not working- Restart machine: not working- Different device, same network (i.e. same ip address): not working- Same device, different IP address (logged in via 4G hotspotted to my phone): Working!- Different device, different IP address (logged in via Browserstack): Working! Any ideas?? Thanks

Before I have purchased Myriad pro Desktop fonts license at www.fontspring.com, and now I want to use it in my website.I would want to know, how can I purchase web fonts license and how much is it?Thank you
Hi, I read Myriad Pro can't be used for 'web use'. Does 'web use' mean web font? Can I use it in logos and infographics on websites? As PDF, JPEG, PNG etc? Note: I have a creative cloud account. Thanks
Hi, I read Myriad Pro can't be used for 'web use' at the very bottom of the 'Font Licensing' page. Does 'web use' mean web font? I was unsure as it's one that says it's licenced for Personal and Commerical use. Can I use it in logos and infographics that are displayed on websites? As PDF, JPEG, PNG etc? Note: I have a creative cloud account. Thanks
I have been designing a logo and I have used a font as a base but then modified it to tweak some of the letters, removing flourishes etc. I was just wondering what the legal stuff is for that situation. Do you need to buy licences if you have modified a font? Thanks
Hi there, I work with Photoshop CC2017 and I have a project that requires the Adobe font Arno Pro Bold. The font is activated in Adobe Fonts. How do I import it in Photoshop?Thank youThomas
I am trying to activate the Lemongrass font, but its not working, I have deactivated and reactivated, logged out of my account and signed back in, but the font is still not being recognised in Adobe Illustrator Any ideas
I ran into an issue where my older MacPro (2008) no longer can update to CC latest version is stuck with the 2018 version. Does this affect the fonts pannel from CC as well? I couldn't get the fonts to load to my CC application, just the spinning wheel of dealth. The fonts that were needed are ones I've used in the past so nothing new. I can go to other compters (PC or Apple) and not have a problem. I tried rebooting the computer, logging out of CC and back in... Still have issues.
Hi, does anyone know if there'sa n issue currently with Adobe Fonts not synching with software. All my active fonts look fine on my CC account but none of my apps, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator are registering them. I've rebooted the apps but they just don't appear.
I work on a Mac in the studio and a PC at home. I've noticed that when working on files using Adobe Sans Semibold or Extrabold, if I open the file at home I have to replace the font in Indesign. When I open that version in the studio, it says I have to replace the font again. This also causes layout issues because the kerning seems to be slightly different.
I was using Adobe Garamond on a file. It has been working fine for the last few weeks. After updates for windows and all adobe products, every use of Adobe Garamond in “Semibold” disappeared from each version of our file, and I could not export the file as a PDF. Every other subset of Adobe Garamond is working great, but if I try to use “semibold”, the text disappears.
HiUsing an Adobe font for a personal video title and credits. If my CC subscription expires does this affect font licensing of any already published work? Thanks
For a customer we use the Quattro font on their website. In certain browsers this font renders incorrectly. The spacing between dots and the bottom part of certain letters get merged together. For example, the letter i is displayed as I and the letter j is displayed as J. See screenshots below for more details. Font rendering in Chrome (correct).Font rendering in MS Edge. How can we solve this issue? Changing the font-weight with CSS solves this issue but this is not something we can just do because its not by design. Any help will be appreciated.
Hi, none of my Adobe fonts are syncing properly. I've tried deactivating and activating them again and nothing has happened - they're loading as a BG task in InDes and I can get them past it. Appreciate any help.
I've activated Typeka through Adobe Fonts/CC, and it will work fine in Photoshop, but it shows up as missing in AE. I'm swapping a project around with some others who are using it in AE fine. They're on Macs, I'm on a PC (Windows 10), but I wouldn't think that should matter since it's a Typekit font. I've de- and re-activated it, restarted AE, restarted the computer, purged memory, &c. Any idea why this particular (and thus far only) font isn't working in AE, and how I can get it to?
I used the typeface Calisto MT in an Indesign file. My laptop is being worked on so now I'm working on the file on another computer. It doesn't have Calisto MT so I went to Adobe Fonts to activate it again, but it's not there. Nothing comes up when I search for it. Where is it? How do I find it?
Does adobe font licence allow for political use? Any restrictions here? I use creative cloud all apps and get a lot of free fonts included in the package...
