I have activated Lato font and now the font is not showing up in my photoshop program on the computer. Any suggestions? Thanks a lot!
Hi,I am creating an interactive eBook with InDesign. It's based on a real novel, so it's mainly text. But it will have some cool visual interactivity, maybe on every 5-8th page. I have a unique hybrid situation regarding font licensing, which needs clarification : I am planning to sell the eBook in 2-3 different formats, just for practical reasons:Format n.1) iBook - as far as I understand, my CC Subscription covers the font licensing. Is that correct?Format n.2) I am also planning to use a software called Kotobee Author. It will convert the EPUB into an encrypted mobile and desktop app and embed an ebook reader into it. So it's still an eBook in terms of content. But it will be sold as a mobile / desktop app. LICENSE CLARIFICATION NEEDED:Adobe Font is allowed for eBooks, but they are not allowed for mobile and destop apps without extra license purchase. So from a font licensing perspective, does Format N.2 count as an eBook or as a mobile / desktop
i need some cute chinese font to finish my project, but there are only a few choices.
Nieun Global is developing a mobile video editing applicationand they will be released in S.Korea and the U.S.We would like to provide Adobe Fonts to end-users.Our primary users will be home movie makersand online contents creaters. The end-user will use fonts on their videos as title, captions, subtitles, etc. Please let us know if we can grant Adobe Fonts license to app users.Thank you!
I am a graphic design student currently developing my own original font. I exclusively use adobe products for all of my work for school and professionally. I finished the rough of my typeface and thought it would be incredible to make my typeface completley active. Possible having my font featured on adobe fonts for use and purchase. How would I go about having my font developed so that other designers can use my original typeface?
I wonder if I can obtain the meta data for fonts I'm using via Adobe Fonts. If I purchase an individual font and obtain its font file, I can use opentype.js (https://opentype.js.org/font-inspector.html) to get the font meta data such as unitsPerEm and sxHeight (which are useful to set font-size based on the preferred x-height). But as far as I can tell, I won't be able to obtain the font file per se if I use Adobe Fonts. The font meta data is very useful for pixel-perfect typesetting. I'd like to get hold of it for Adobe Fonts. Any comments would be welcome. Thank you for reading this. Best,Masa
I'm looking for Silentium Pro® by Adobe, yet this is not available through Adobe font service but only sold by third party? Isn't that a nonsense? 😉
See subject line. Thanks!
I understand web font licensing to generally be the rightsholder granting permission to distribute a font file, for limited rendering uses. The Adobe Fonts licensing terms for web sites clearly states that a client needs to have an Adobe CC Fonts license to use Adobe Fonts for their sites. The implication is that the client is hosting their site themselves; they are the ones making the font file available so they need the license. We are an agency who hosts the sites that we create for our clients. In this scenario, where the client is not hosting their site, is it still required for the client to have an Adobe CC Fonts license?
When I edit a pdf to add a text box, I always want to use the same text-Times New Roman font 14 bold. The default is Times New Roman font size 12. How can I save the bold larger font as my primary edit so I dont have to change it every time?
Exactly as the subject line says. Creative Cloud doesn't sync newly activated fonts to my computer if I need to update any of the apps — it doesn't seem to matter whether the app I'm currently using has an update available or no. Ridiculous, and would love for Adobe to fix this.
So I activated the fonts I needed on adobe fonts and I wanted to use them on my iPad Pro (2nd generation) for Adobe Photoshop. When I go to the fonts, it says I don't have it. On my computer is says the fonts were activated. Does anyone know why this is happening or how I can fix it? Is it becuase of my iPad? Thank you so much for any help.
My CC account is active. The fonts site shows me my active fonts. They were working ok until yesterday. Today I open the photoshop with the respective projects and for my surprise the typekit fonts can't be found. The adobe fonts site shows me my active fonts but for the Creative Cloud interface, no more adobe fonts are active, when before it showed me all the active fonts. What happened? I also unchecked and checked again the "Enable fonts..." under Preferences. Some people say re-start the system, etc. So, do I have to restart the system every time I work with Adobe Fonts? Thanks a lot.
I am using Futura PT through Adobe but my client has the OTF version. Neither of us seem to be able to sync the other's version. When I try to install their version to my computer, it comes up with a warning of duplicate fonts.
Hi, I'd like to learn that is the Adobe Fonts (Typekit) grant us a world-wide license to use the font commercially? Is their a restriction in the usage in different region? For example, I live in U.S. and I use the fonts from typekit in my design—may be printed or digital, finally my design work will be use commercially worldwide instead of only in U.S., how should I license the fonts? I have this questions because when I am in the adobe pages, there is an option in the bottom of the page ask me to choose the region, so that's why I am wondering about this. Many many thanks.
I do not see an add project button on this page... https://fonts.adobe.com/my_fonts#web_projects-section
I activated an adobe font a while ago, I use the 'medium' variation of this for a current project but it's disappeared. No matter how many times I attempt to deactivate and reactivate it, it still doesn't come back. I've tried restarting my laptop, closing and reopening apps but with no luck.
I'm loading up the campaign font from adobe typekit, and I've made a simple page here unstyled, to test the font only: https://verazab.github.io/testFont/test.htmlActually, this is also visible on adobe's own page: https://fonts.adobe.com/fonts/campaignIf you choose Campaign Regular, or Campaign Medium, and in the dev tools, change the font size to be 14px, then you'll see the font waviness too. This font, when looked at with any browser on windows shows up with letters of different lenghts. Ex:on Windows (notice shorter 'l's and 'r'):vs on Mac:Don't mind the blurriness please, that's not the issue. We've chosen this font for our company's site and have adopted it on many pages, preferably I'd like to fix it for our Windows users instead of just accepting that it's maybe not windows compatible. I'm noticing also that on zoom, on Windows, starting from a 125% zoom, the letters seem to self fix and render at more equal lenght.Any help on this greatly appreciated, thanks!

Just like Google, many font designers allowed Adobe to distribute their Open Font fonts, but not all of them ! It seems that Lobster is unavailable Adobe Fonts, nowadays. Although there is this remainder of a license to be found on Adobe's website: https://fonts.adobe.com/variations/6132/eula What's the deal (literally) with this Summer Festival favorite ?

Using both adobe fonts and fonts purchased from other sites that dont show up in my adobe account...
How do you find out what fonts are attached to a Typekit key? For example, this one: ylb5kqd
Hi,I've activated some specifc fonts online using Adobe Creative Cloud, but when I go to my iPad they're not available to use on Keynote. This help-page suggested that the Creative Cloud app has a 'fonts' tab where I can activate them on the iPad but when I download the app the 'fonts' tab doesn't exist.Anyone know if it's possible to activate the fonts on the iPad and how you do it?Thanks.
