I'm creating a program for kids who can't read. When I read about Captivate Prime, I thought my publishing woes were over. I'm not quite ready to publish yet, but in reading the forum, I'm starting to have doubts.Are the problems across the board for everyone, or just for larger businesses? I'm just a one-person producer with (at first) just a handful of kids, while I test it. I'm not very good at tech, and am worried this will be too much for me. Are there any happy campers out there, who've had a good experience with it?I'd really appreciate any thoughts you may have on this. I'm completely befuddled about it!Thanks...

We are still experimenting with Captivate Prime. Is it correct to say that every employee in our company will have to start an Adobe account to use Adobe Captivate Prime LMS?Thanks,Pete

Hello guys,Anyone knows how to configure the SSO login via Federated ID with Microsoft Azure from the Adobe side?According to this help Configure Microsoft Azure for use with Adobe SSO you need that your Domain has been claimed in the Adobe Enterprise Dashboard, but I don't have access to the Enterprise Dashboard.I've configured all the necessary from the Azure side, I just need support with the Adobe SSO side.Thanks in advance.RM.

I  read in this forum that you cannot delete a user and then recreate that same user later. I have also read that you can do this, if you use a CSV file to do it.Could someone from Adobe please clarify?I am ready to recommend Captivate to my company, but this question has come up.  It's probably not a showstopper, but I need the correct answer.Thanks.

I've been using Captivate Prime for four weeks now and have many concerns over the core functionality of this product.  The product is extremely rigid not allowing for very much flexibility at all.  From modules that cannot be deleted, to gamification settings that can’t be changed or shared broadly.  It is clear, that Adobe wants users to use the product one way, their way, and not in a way that best suits the customer’s needs.Now that we have active learners, I need to report on my learners progress, and once again the tool will not let me.  I cannot run a simple report that shows the skills and badges earned by my users.I cannot see who, of my registered learners have actually created an adobe ID.I cannot build a simple quiz element in Prime, rather I am forced to pay for a second captivate tool.This new project is a direct initiative from my CEO. In my Prime course I have three (3) quizzes. A pre-assessment quiz. A post-assessment quiz. And then a survey. I exported quiz results because I need to see survey responses from my learners. But, on that worksheet in the exported data on Excel, the quiz questions are mixed up. I have to manually go through, hide irrelevant columns in order to isolate only the survey questions. Furthermore, the Likert quiz questions (all this was created in Adobe Captivate 9) did not show the individual questions that were asked; only the responses show.The export to quiz results, including specifically survey results need to be cleaner and delineated.Regards,Thomas

So I'm working with a responsive project in Captivate 9, and when I preview my project in the browser, it displays what appears to be a default playbar.However, when I publish to Prime, the default CP9 playbar is gone, and it is replaced by a different playbar.Is there anyway to disable the Prime playbar, and use the CP9 preview playbar?If not, will the CP9 playbar show up if I use a different LMS?Thanks in advanceEDIT: When I view the course as a learner on my mobile device, it does not appear the way I designed the mobile portrait in CP9. It shows a punched in version of the desktop design. Not only that but the Prime playbar disappears as soon as the screen is touched. Any ideas?EDIT2: I've published my project as a SWF zip file, but when I upload it to Prime, it says the content is not supported. Any ideas?

I have tested things for a few months now in ACP.There are some modules that are no longer relevant.Is there a way to clean up the module library?Clean up could be something like...Group certain modules together for easier & faster identificationDeleting modules that are no longer neededDeactivating modules some how to, at least, remove them from my view.Sorting modules by typeSorting modules by date created...bottom line is that there are a lot of things in the module library that I have to wade through and I don't need to see everything, all the time when I am at that location.Thanks,Thomas H.Master Electronics

I want to set up 3 customers as external users in Captivate Prime, However, I want to restrict what each customer can see in the course catalogue. For example, I don't want the customers to see or have access to any of our internal catalogue. Also I want to tailor specific courses to each of the 3 individual customers. Can you tell me if this is possible in Prime and if so is there any documentation or Tutorials on how to do this.ThanksSean

This is my fourth attempt at getting a qualified answer to essentially the same questions:I represent a non-profit organization conducting an e-health project with a target user group in the age range of 60-75 years. How does one create a user account without forcing the user to create or a new Adobe ID?  -  Please  list the steps? SSO is not an option.Please indicate precisely:How does one create an account for a user who has been deleted from the system? -  step by step please... don't refer to the documentation because it is insufficient.Is it really true that if you delete a user, that user can never again be registered with the same e-mail? How does the feature listed below (from the Login Methods menu) work? What is the difference between Adobe ID and Captivate ID login? How is it implemented and does it (as you would assume, based on its name and location under Login Methods) allow you NOT to force your users to create Adobe IDs?

I am unable to connect Presenter to Prime when attempting topublish from Presenter. The prime drop down is blank. Note: Captivate connectsfine on my PC.

There doesn't seem to be any way to add formatting tot eh course description field in Captivate Prime. Can anyone offer some tips or suggestions? Nothing fancy just looking for paragraph breaks and maybe bulleted lists.Thanks in advance!Best,Ash

Hi,I managed to get the CSV upload feature working by tweaking the example csv file from the adobe. Now I think I've cracked it I'm trying to delete the test users so I can start afresh, but it's not letting me delete 'managers'. Please advise:

I have updated a URL in an activity within a course that is part of a certification. The course content, other than this URL, was not changed. When accessed directly, the course activity module points to the updated URL. However, the changed URL is not being propagated up from the revised course to the certification.If I delete the certification and build a new one to make this change available at the certification level, then I lose all existing certification data for users who have already completed the certification and won't be due to re-certify for another 20+ months.Seems to me that this is a bug in the system. Anyone feel differently about this or know how I can force the certification to update to use the latest version of the course?

I have a quiz between two video modules. Is there a way to automatically advance to the next module once the learner completes the quiz? The two videos were uploaded as modules in Prime. The quiz was developed in Articulate Storyline (sorry, Adobe!) and published as a SCORM 1.2 zip file, which I then uploaded as a module. Nothing happened once the learner completed the quiz. OK, that made sense to me, so I added an EXIT button in Storyline, but that doesn't work either. It goes to a white screen within the fluidic player and I get a message to close the window, which isn't very useful. As far as I can tell, there's nothing I can add within the quiz module that will allow it to advance to the next module in the course. The learner can only use the forward button in the player. That's not too bad, but it would be nice if we could auto advance the same way that the videos do.Is this possible? And, next question, does this work the same within Captivate 9?Thanks!

How do I unregister users? I do not want to delete them. There used to be an option in the Actions drop down after selecting the user. Thanks

We would like to create dedicated sections/portals within prime so that our clients can access their content. We cannot work out how to do it. Also, is it possible to customise our clients sections with their logo or colours etc?Nothing that we have seen on the tutorials seems to help and the support we are receiving is slow to put it mildly. Can anyonesuggest the best process for migrating Modules which have been completely developed in Moodle to Adobe Captivte Prime?Modules re repeated, and bckcopies are uploaded and fine tuned in Moodle. Can these backup copies be used to set up a Adobe Captivate Prime Module? What are the risks and the issues anticipated? Prof. Angelo
