Adobe Media Encoder

I have about ten 30-second AE composition to render in gopro cineform alpha. Normally it takes 30 minutes. Why for two days 1 file of 30 seconds take me a minimum of 5h ????? It's not good at all, I pay 60 euros per month !!! I'm two days late on the project! What's the problem ?

I have a set of WAV files loaded that I want to convert to MP3. I select verious choices of presets under the Audio heading that say MP3 but everyone lists the resulting file extension in the Queue as MP4. And sure enough, they convert to MP4, but every time you play them you see a (black) video window. You do hear them, but I don't want a window to open every time. Why can't it convert to MP3 if I ask for MP3?

Hi there - hope you all are well.I have at little problem uploading encodet videofiles via the Adobe Media Encoder publish FTP option.I live in Denmark so we have som special Danish letters æ ø and å (hope you can see them).Uploading files to a Synology server changes these letters. Normally I would just change the characeter set in my ftp client from UTF-8 to ISO-8859-1, but I can't see where I can do that on the FTP option in Adobe Media Encoder. Happens on several different versions. I'm on lastest now and still happening.It's not everytime, I'd say one every three or four times it will crash. Can't find any log or dump files for that, so I'm blind here. Already trying emptying Media Core folder to remove any plugin interference, but nothing. Any ideas?

when i download webm from fnordware it does not show up in my encoder at all but if i use the extension via adobe it shows up but since it's not the latest version "include alpha channel" is not available. i have literally been trying to figure this out for hours and have tried everything i possibly can. i've uninstalled webm, Ae, Me...went to older versions...reinstalled...everything i try has had the same outcome.

Whenever I try converting from MOV (Iphone footage) to MP4 on AME the videos keep showing up black but when convert on Adobe Premiere it works fine please help me!!

I would like to show MOV files in a PDF. They're videos of deaf sign language ASL) which readers of the PDF, who are linguists, will want to watch one frame at a time, hence my choice of MOV. This used to be possible till someone found a security hole in MOV files, causing Adobe to make it difficult to embed them, and even then users have to express their assent on each one - now apparently not just once per PDF but again for each and every MOV file individually, at least if one links to them (I haven't yet tested embedding). Previous versions worked okay with H.264 but I had to say goodbye to one frame at a time...   And now I read that it can show MOV files that are H.264 on the insides, so to speak. So what I'm hoping is that I'll be able to get the MOV interface (and frame-by-frame viewing) with no blocks in the path put there by Adobe. But how to I do that in Adobe Media Encoder? Is there a preset for it? (Note that I'm not talking about just changing a MO

I selected my scratch disc but it keeps exporting to the wrong hard drive. Why doesn't Adobe make it simple and make all saved data under same tab in menu??

According to what I read, my subscription to Acro Pro DC gives me free access to Adobe Media Encoder. I have downloaded a time-bombed version allowing me just seven days. Forgive this question but I have been unable to find out from Adobe how to proceed (all I get to is a chat window where the support people do not seem even to understand my question). Does anyone know how I should proceed? Just enter an account number? I don't know my account number if there is one - all I have is my Adobe password and Acro Pro DC order number. I ask this so I'll know how much urgency I need to accomplish what I need to get done. Thanks.

when I try to export a video using media encoder it says "disk full" and failed task but i have plenty of storage, i just started using adobe products and am confused on how to fix this error. 

Hi All, I'm struggling a bit as I'm not familiar to Media Encoder.   I have a 800MB Video Video: 7:50min 1080x1920 14268kbps 30.00 frames/second Bit rate: 127kbps Channels 2(stereo) Audio Sample Rate - 44.100 kHz   My question is, How do I downsize the video to under 20MB. ive done everything i can think of. no mater what i get 401 errors. I even wiped the system and reinstaled on a blank OS. One of the main reasons I bought this was to upload batches of videos. ive only ever gotten it to do one video then it wont ever upload them. i even set all the setting to adobes "youtube" preset. Hi, I have the full pakage Adobe.I'm using the Photoshop, Premiere Pro and Animate. After the installing of new versions, lot of problems. Changed the Premiere to old version and now it is OK. The Media Encoder do not work when I try to export the Animate file to MP4.My desktop has RAM 8 GB, video 2 GB, and I use to work well in the other version of the Adobe programs. Now it´s impossible. When the Media Encoder try to render, the RAM goes to   97% of use and the task doens't complete. Please, help me in this. Thank you.

Using the After Effects rendering program my video comes out fine, but when I import to Media Encoder it renders the video dark. I have read some of the previous posts about similar issues, but none of the suggestions seem to work for me. Any other ideas to try?

I've made posts recently on exporting errors I've had using Premiere Pro, and I prematurely marked that issue as solved only for it to come back and others. When using the Media Encoder to export sequences from Premiere Pro, Media Encoder would either crash, the resulting footage would have offset clips (as described in a previous post), or the resulting footage would be flickering. This would all happen using Software Only. GPU Acceleration, however, does not work at all. The export will immediately fail and move on to the next sequence, only for it to fail again. Supposedly, this is not an issue with Premiere's sequence settings nor export settings, because the exact same settings work when using Media Encoder and GPU Acceleration on another computer. The difference is this other computer says "OpenCL" for GPU Acceleration. The problematic computer says "CUDA." This is the first time I've experienced issues like this in Media Encoder, and I'm not sure if the issue lies in M

I'm a freelance video-editor/animator that's hit a technical snag. I've been using Adobe Media Encoder to export my projects from both Premiere and After Effects every week and I usually never have a problem with it. I have exported a 14 second composition to AME and began rendering it in H.264 format at 1080p 50 frames, only to find when I woke up this morning that it has been going for 14 hours and has a remaining time of 129 hours.I am used to slow rendering but the sequence is nothing extremely difficult. It is a rotoscoped clip with some colour correction and an animated image of clouds behind, along with CC Particle World rainfall over the top. There are no cameras, lights, adjustment layers or anything I'd expect would make it so slow.This is an issue I've faced over my last few projects, where it has taken around 60 hours to render 18 seconds of footage which, in the end, was corrupted anyway.It also tends to crash at random points whilst actually editing the videos.i7-8550U8GB RAM

All my apps are up to date, and here is my system info:This is a serious issue as I have 35 videos that need to be encoded by Thursday, and I don't really want  to do it one by one right out of Premiere Pro. Hi,Is it possible to automate a render pipeline that I have, prefferably without using GUI and even without Premier Pro, but rather just the AME?I want to automate the task of genrating time interpolated video using Optical Flow, from input videos or image sequences.I'm using PP 14.3.1 & AME 14.3.1. My currently manual flow:1. Load a video or image sequence to PP (if image sequence, load as a video)2. change in "Speed/Duration" the speed to 10%3. change "time interpolation" to optical flow4. export clip to AME with some custom preset (no audio, CBR etc.) and render I'll be happy to any help of how to approach this.Many thanks,Matan  

Hi. I have a Character Animator puppet dynamically linked to After Effects. This works in After Effects, but when I try to render it in Me, the puppet is just a bunch of coloured lines - like the link is broken. I've tried changing the output quality and making sure the frame rates match, but I still get the same result. I'm not doing anything differently to usual - except the Ch puppet is quite a lot more complicated than usual. But as I say, it works in Ae. Thanks. EDIT: Never mind, I figured it out. I was dragging the composition from Ae into Me, as it was  a quicker way of getting it in the queue, but when I went to Export, Add to Me queue, it worked.
