I keep getting an error each time ME 2020 opens. I've uninstalled, reinstalled, changed temp directories in Preferences and nothing will solve it. It does not impact performance. But if the error pops up behind another window and I don't see it, ME will never open until I go find it and click 'OK.' It's just an annoying extra step I must always perform. I've attached the message. Anyone else having this and have a solution?

How to Fast renderinglarge file Media encoder?
Hi, I've been trying to render videos from AE in AME but the encoding box just sits at "Connecting to dynamic link server" for a long time and then says "Failed" when it's timed out. I've even had trouble with projects not showing up in AME when I add them from AE using the "Add to AME button." I've tried downloading older versions of AE & AME, no luck. I've tried installing the Beta versions, still no luck. I have no plug-ins and all settings are default. Is there anything else I can do to solve this issue? Thanks!
Hi all, this is my first post. So, Adobe Media encoder keeps crashing on startup, I've already deletated/change names the config files on documents and nothing. The version is 14.8It was working before, I changed the system language and I couldnt open it again. I uninstalled and reinstalled ME aswell as Pr and AE, no thte main CC app tho.I want to use it on another computer as a "render server", I access it trhough Chrome remote desktopThanks in advance
I think this was posted here a long time ago, but I can't find a solution. I've signed out of all of the YouTube channels I usually have connected in the export dialog in Premiere, but it's not letting me log in again - I'm getting the message in this screenshot. I've tried changing my system's default browser, and restarting everything, but not getting anywhere. Any help much appreciated, thank you.
I was upscaling a video for youtube to help with compression issues. More of a see if it works experiment I exported a 4k H.264 .mp4 file to a H.265 8K in .mp4 after it was complete I was left with 2 files one .m4v and one .mp4 Is this expected or did I miss a setting in the export? Also which file should I upload?
Tonight marks the third time I've had to uninstall and reinstall Media Encoder, as it randomly decides to not allow me to import .MOV anymore. Any of my .MOVs, which work perfectly fine in other Adobe (or other) applications. This never, or rarely, happened on previous versions. What gives? Hardware:Macbook Pro (2019)macOS Catalina Version 10.15.1Processor: 2.3 GHz 8-Core Intel Core i9Memory: 16 GB 2400 MHz DDR4Graphics: Intel UHD Graphics 630 1536 MB
Export errorError compiling the movie.Rendering errorThe rendering process returned an error. The media encoder gives this error when 85% is missing to finish rendering. I don't know what to do anymore and I didn't find anyone talking about it. If anyone can help me thank you.
Hello, I'm having trouble with Media Encoder. For whatever reason, it is very crash prone and will not render anything. If I try to render a file, it will become stuck on "Reading XMP" and then after a few minutes crash. If I try and change the file format or any settings relating to the file it crashes. And if I leave it alone for about 2-5 minutes, it crashes. I have no idea what is causing this to keep happening.I’m using a Windows 10 PC with a AMD Ryzen 7 CPU and have 32GB of RAM. Can anyone give me some tips? I can get any of my project exported.
Hi, I'm a beginner using AME, but basically I exported a composition from After Effects to Media Encoder in a H.264 format (so it can be opened by QuickTime) and after I render it and open the video it has some glitches it looks like some frames are slower than the original ones so it makes the video look like it's in slow motion. I've already tried the different renderer options, different presets, the frame rate is compatible, etc.. I have no clue what more I can do to find a solution. It happens with all the compositions I made in After Effects.
Updated to the windows 10 20H2 and media encoder no longer exports my projects. I have been forced to use the innate exporter in Premiere and AE.
I recently bought AME to help me with stacking jobs (multiple 3 - 5 second custom resolution clips) but sadly...didn't help at all. Let's assume those clips are 8K. In Premiere Pro and After Effects, encoding was smooth. But in AME, my computer just freeze (restart-needed type) like 2 seconds after starting the queue. It acts like some malware (my ame is legit). Why is that? I never had problems encoding with Pr and Ae, so that is just my solution now, direct exporting. Pls h4lp
Trying to export composition from AE using AME and is not working. Both AE and AME are up to date. Already Uninstalled and Installed both apps Trying to import composition from AME doesn't work either....Connecting to dynamic link server fails AE 17.6.0AME 14.8macOS Big Sur 11.1

I updated both my AE and AME a couple of days ago. So I was running AE v 17.6 and AME v 14.8... After that when I sent renders to media encoder, from after effects and started the render it would tell me it was trying to connect to the dynamic link server for ages, and then it would fail. I went back and re-installed the previous version of AME and this seemed to fix my issue. But now it's doing the same thing and all renders are failing after trying to connect to the dynamic link server. I then re-installed the updated AME (v 14.8) to see if it would fix the issue but it hasn't. I now can't render out using AME. All renders fail! I'm working on an imac (macOS Catalina version 10.15.7 – I've been puttng off doing the OS update) and I've cleaned my cache on both applications... any help would be amazing! Thanks in advance
Hi!So I downloaded Premier Pro in order to use it for smaller projects, nothing too fancy. Actually, I don't use it very often. The thing is, Media Encoder is downladed too, but I've never used it. I don't really know what it is for. Do I need it? I'm trying to free storage space, and I was wondering if I could uninstall it.
hi there, I know this might have been hashed out a year or two ago, so forgive if this is an old question. I'm trying to batch convert some old motion graphics elements into a usable format as After Effects doesn't like their original codec any more (we don't support MooV or something) In AME I select quicktime as the container but the only available options are Prores and MXF and I just want a QT PNG w/Alpha (RGBA). Why isn't this working? Can I get PNG back? Should I use a different container format? In the end I just made PRORES 4444 XQ files, which is dumb as they're now bloated larger than the originals, but they're working and I can build this spot, but taking advice for upgrading my workflow here.
I keep getting this message when trying to add .AVI files into Adobe Media Encoder to transcode them to ProRes 4444. Is this message popping up because they are files proprietary to Microsoft (I am using a Mac) or does it have something to do with the drive permissions? This harddrive was given to me by a VFX artist who probably has the drive formatted for Windows. Does anybody know how to solve this issue? Thanks
In the secondt ME Panel top left of program, it lists other files and folders I have previously encoded. How do I get rid of these files now??? Really stupid that you can't just click on the file and hit delete, or select the file or edit, or any other of the selections to find a delete or remove command. If anyone has figured this out, please let me know. If no one has figured this out--then Adobe PLEASE FIX THIS GLARING SCREW UP11111
I have video loops that are perfectly seamless, but on export from Premiere Pro via Adobe Media encoder, they fail to loop seamlessly when played back with Quicktime. The videos are ProRes 30p 4k, exported to H.264 30p 4k .mp4 files. This question was discussed in this previous thread: https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro/video-not-looping-seamlessly-after-export-from-premiere/td-p/9520197?page=1 Info from that thread was helpful to zero in on the problem but I find I get inconsistent results. When the movie is open in Quicktime, using the trim edit I can see that the end of the clip has either one or more black frames at the end, or extra frames (which are identical to frame 1). Once I trim them out I get a better loop. 1 out of 4 tries on different clips gets me a seamless result. On others I still get a slight timing glitch or brief "light flash" at the loop point. For a start, a 30p movie reads out as 100 frames per second or something in QT (WTF is
After updating to 14.7 I noticed that a significant number of the export settings were gone and all of the publish options (except for ftp) were gone as well. Running Mac OS 10.14.6. I've looked in /Contents/MediaIO/systempresets and I see lots of export settings folders with non-intuitive folder names, but something is clearly wrong. Any ideas why I'm not seeing the correct options?

I'm trying to set up a watch folder with 3 Presets for batch rendering. I produce commercials and the final product has :02 seconds of black, :05 seconds of slate, :02 seconds of black, then the spot. I need to set up a preset that will start the encoding at :09 seconds in so that the transcoded video is just the spot itself, no black or slate. Does Media Encoder have the ability to do this? I've been using Telestream's Episode for ever, and it's been great, but they discontinued it and I can't update the OS on the computer it runs on or Episode will no longer work. We create about 80 commercials a week, and it's really important to have this feature. Can someone help?
2 layers and only a levels effect, a 2 minute comp is taking 50min. This is not new, as has been the case in most previous iteration of media encoder. not one componant is getting more than 3% usage. What am I doing wrong, how can I get this sorted? I don't see answers on this community or elsewhere so I thought I'd ask myself, before resorting to the common answer which is to bag media encoder completely for something else. specs:AMD 3900xNvidia 309032g ramm.2 SSDlatest drivers, version of windows, and versions of adobe products.
