Hi i would love to set a default export setting from AE/PR (right now i have to change the same setting before i export which i hope is an unessesary step). And also do anyone know if you can set the default of a format? So when i export a h.264 it would be set to [preset 1] instead of "Match source - High bitrate",when i export a mov it qould be [preset 2] instead of "PAL DV" I havent been able to find it anywhere and are slowly going mad 🙂 //Lasse
Hi All,I'm striving to find any bit of documentation about Media Encoder that will cover all endpoints that can be used. I'd like to know more about scheduling a job through the API, getting job details, make AME to send notifications to certain endpoint etc.Where can I get such documentation?Kind Regards,Marcin
I'm trying to export an after effects sequence with media encoder, but every time the video stills at six seconds and the last two seconds are just a still image. I have tried adjusting things in after effects, but I cannot change the output settings. Please help.
I have multiple users of AME and I am tying to populate the AME Presets Window in an organized way. The folder structure is made by an XML file, but with different users accounts and where the XML is stored we cant create that folder structure. I did alter the XML so it pointed to a central networked storage but the presets still wont work even though the folder structure worked. The presets showed up in the folder but gave an error or wouldnt work.
Hi, I'm trying to optimise some workflow and i search for a documentation for hardware-accelerated encoding. It's really not easy to tfind what will work or not with only "your hardware can't be use for this configation" as else doc. regards,
I created an animation in After Effects. The company using my animation is requiring a minimum bitrate of 15000k. The file must be an mp4. I am unable to get the bitrate above ~5300k. Here is what I've tried:CBR and VBR 1 Pass with bitrate set to 50. Maximum render quality toggled on and off.Rendering both from the AE composition and from an uncompressed AVI.Rendering from AE in the animation codec and then converting. No matter what I do the bitrate is the same at ~5300k. I'm at a complete lost. Everytime the bitrate
I was using AME 2018 with 2018 Premiere Pro. I need to use these versions because my system doesn't meet the requirements for 2020. It hasn't been a problem so far. I do a lot of video production work and doc film editing. AME stopped communicating with Premiere when I cancelled an export so I uninstalled and now I'm trying to find AME 2018 to install but Adobe seems to give me no options for this.

Hello - I'm having an issue that is completely baffling me. I have been editing a large (8 hours) video and breaking it into clips/modules with Pro 20. I export to Media Encoder 20 and on some of the videos the audio is dropped completely or the audio is very slow and garbled. If I take the same clip, same encode settings and export from Pro, it's completely fine.Any ideas?
How do I stop the Media Encoder warning for ProRes4444? I NEED TO USE PRORES4444 THANKS FOR THE FIRST WARNING. DO NOT NEED IT EVERY TIME.
The full question is: Is it possible to use Media Encoder free without buying Premiere Pro or After Effect?Because I want to use Media Encoder, But I don't want to buy Adobe Premiere Pro or Adobe After Effect. And Can I still use Adobe Media Encoder after the trial ends? (I guess not.)
Hi,I have a problem handling avi Files in Premiere. When playing these Files from the VLC player everithing is fine. So I tryed to transcode these avi s to a different format eg. Apple Prores but wehn I start the encoder the meory of my system Harddrive is going constandly down until it reachs about 80GB left and the I receive the message Yor system has no Memory left you´ll hav to quit the aplication. has anyone any idea hoew to handle this? Short version:-Editing project with mpeg2 (.mpg) file -the mpeg2 file was originally an mp4, rendered it with Media Encoder to convert to to mpeg2 as experiment (mp4 was horrendous to edit with, timeline was extremely laggy) -worked surprisingly well, editing became a dream -made only 9-12 simple cuts, queued it in media encoder, makes it through the audio process just fine, but fails IMMEDIATELY after the audio portion is done-tried exporting with only Premiere, worked just fine-file format was set to export to mp4 (H.264) for both attempts other notes:-Media Encoder set to Mercury Playback Engine Software Only-GPU Acceleration is on in Premiere-cleared cache-tried exporting in new .proj, same issue-no third party plug-ins used Error message: - Preset Used: Custom- Video: 1920x1080 (1.0), 29.97 fps, Progressive, Software Encoding, 00;01;27;02- Audio: AAC, 320 kbps, 48 kHz, Stereo- Bitrate: CBR, Target 10.00 Mbps- Encoding Time: 00:00:0210/05/2020 04
Hi. The Media Encoder burns my After Effect project until it's finished, I can play and watch the finished movie but it lagging and in between got strange freeze-pictures like the one under. I updated to the last Software and drivers, and burned it out on 2 different computers for testing. The only error message is: "Can not write XMP data in output file". Please any help since my deadline is closing up. Fillock
When trying to export an After Effects composition through Media Encoder it exports the video layer as color bars while the effects layers are working. Why is this? I have cleared the cache and changed the render setting, but they only fix the problem temporarily. Is this a bug? Please help.
Hello,Win 10. I record video using Panasonic G80 to AVCHD 1080 50p and try to export it using Adobe Media Encoder 2020 to MOV Apple ProRes 422. In Export Settings Summary Output I have 50 fps but Encoder still exports it to 25 fps and I need those 50fps for time remapping in Ae. Why is it happening? Can you help me somehow? Thank you
Can anyone explain what is going on? I am exporting a number of very simple 2 stereo track one video track 6 minute videos from Premiere. Yet, ME will spend an hour "preparing" the audio, often between 35 and 170 tracks!!This is not an isolated event, it's happening on every export. There is no rhyme of reason to it. Using 14.3.2. No effects have ben added to the audio whatsoever.Has anyone seen this before and is there any workaround. It's really annoying that it takes 8 minutes to export the video and 90 minutes to "prepare" simple audio. I attach a couple of screen grabs to see if anyone can sort this out. It's incredibly annoying!
Hi, Where can I find the meaning of error codes during export? I have a code -1609629695 that stops my export. No problem during the preview ... Thank you
I read this article about the smart rendering capability in ME / Premiere: https://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-pro/using/smart-rendering.html What I'm getting from this is that if I have ProRes 422 HQ as my source codec and as long as I match the export settings of codec, frame size, frame rate, and bit rate to my source file, it will not recompress the file when exporting? It will be, in a sense, a "lossless" export? To confirm, my workflow often involves changing the following settings on files: Field OrderPixel Aspect Ratio (labelled as "Aspect" in Media Encoder, assume accompanying "Stretch to Fill" source scaling mode)In / Out Point (sometimes by chopping up a file in a Premiere sequence) Can somebody from Adobe please confirm changing these settings and only these settings will not result in a recompress of my ProRes 422 HQ and ProRes 4444 masters?
