Hello everyone, I have an After Effects project file that does not use any third-party plugins. I have downloaded 4 project files from Envato and imported them to my project file. One of them seems to cause the Encoder to fail the export (I will call that file A) [The error code i get is: -1609629695. Adobe help center or the information i found in the community did not help.] File A when opened individually in After Effects renders perfectly through Encoder. And the main file that i imported A also renders perfectly if i render it from After Effects. If you know why file only causes problems when inserted into another project file and only when rendering from Encoder, please inform me. You can find the log file in the attachment and additional information about my graphic card and rem below. All of the Adobe programs i have installed are up to date. I am a beginner student learning to use adobe. I have most of my experience using small clips, in mp4 h.264 codec (I learned that today). I bought a new workstation that has some powerful hardware but I still have some lag, the computer manufacturers told me to change my codec for editing rather than using h.264 out of my camera and it will run really smooth. I need some help with a basic workflow of each step I should do to upload my files and how to save them, how to change the codec from h.264 to something to edit with, and then how to render this out into a h.264 final video file again. Of course if my list is not the best choice please let me know what steps I should take: I am a beginner and need simple help. thank you
Hello, whenever I open media encoder v 14.3 -- it crashes and can not start. I can export from Premiere, or After Effects, and also I'm able to use ME CC 2019. I've tried unintalling prevous versions and only installing the new one. No go. I'm including the crash-log for your inspection. Right now I can only use old versions. I have been exporting :10-:15 sec spots using this setting and the bitrate noramlly passes, whcih needs to be 49.5-50.5 but for some reason when I export a :05 spot the bitrate comes in smaller 49.1 which get rejected automaticly. I can't find a bitrate setting with this option. From what I find XDCAM50HD should be exporting at 50mbps. Is that correct? Does anyone know how I can correct the bitrate for these smaller :05 spots?
hi, I am rendering video in image sequence files, and I know AfterEffects has a function to skip existed files. This comes very usefully when I need to delete some sequence and re-render that potion. Now, I am wondering if Media Encoder has the same function... I am rendering images in .tga now. I wish MediaEncoder has .PSD... Thanks
I'm using the plugin https://www.fnordware.com/WebM/ And for vp8 encoding I can max the bitrate at 10,000kbps Anyway to go over that because most of my 4k 60fps videos are around 22,000
this is the first problem that i've come across while using AE/ME, and i've tried solve it on my own but am unable to. my media encoder has been acting up lately, and when trying to export it edits, ME either says endlessly tries to connect to the server, or starts to encode and then gets stuck at around 40%. does anyone have any ideas of how to fix this? (i have tried to put the project into a new composition and file hoping for that to change something with no luck)
Hi, I'm trying to set a script that adds image sequence to Adobe Media Encoder, but i can't find the arguments that i need to pass. I believe i need to use this function "app.getFrontend().addFileSequenceToBatch()", but the problem is i can't find any info about it.The other function "app.getFrontend().addFileToBatch()" works fine, but i need to be able to add image sequences also. Thank you
i have installed newest version but still crashed.pls help. i use mac ios catalina 10.15.6
Hi, I have been having some problems with rendering *I think it is on the rendering side* I am taking a 4k video and running a key on it and putting it in front of a picture. The picture (seen below) is about 6600x2800 and when I make the sequence from that photo and render it white dots appear around my keyed footage. But! When I make it from the 4k footage, and then shrink the photo to fit, and then shrink my talent to fit in the photo correctly (inside the letterbars) No more white dots! But this means that I have to adjust for this for every cut, and quite frankly I should have to.So is this a media encoder error? an Ultra key error? (NOTE: the playback is FINE before rendering) or an error somewhere in premiere? And any idea how to fix it?
so, when I try exporting my animate file in h.264 format (mp4) I get an error message when I start the cue, i get this message: adobe media encoder failed to encode with the following exception: App.getscriptenginename is not a functionplease help I need to export a video with a transparent background so I can't just screen record it anymore
I am running MacOS Catalina 10.15.6 on a MacPro 2019. AME version 14.2 runs successfully, but no upgrade since 14.3 has worked (all crash at startup). I was also getting the same problems with Premiere Pro, but that now launches on startup (since updating to 14.4). I also have a MacBookPro running MacOS Catalina 10.15.6 and have the exact same problems on that machine. I am running same plug-ins on both so it could be a plug-in crashing as common to both set-ups? Is there any log file I can consult which would indicate if a specific plug-in was causing ME 14.4 to crash at the same point on both machines? I notice I am not the only person having problems starting AME versions on Mac 10.15.6
Hi,I would like to use some 30fps footage in a 25fps timeline. I use media encoder to convert all my footage prior to editing in premier pro. My question is, if I encode 30fps footage in encoder does this remove the need to interpret in premier pro?I'm using drone footage and I'm experimenting with slightly slower motion, I want to keep it as smooth as possible. Thanks,Tim
Hi, I'm having issues rendering videos from Premiere through Media Encoder. Media Encoder will get all the way through the render but gets stuck at the very end leaving me with an incomplete .mp4 file, an unreadable .M4V file, a .aac file, and a .tmp file in my output destination. I don't get any errors, the process just stops and Media Encoder crashes when I stop the render. I am exporting using H.264 format and my computer specs are below:Windows 10 64 bitProcessor: Intel i7-9750H @ 2.60GHzInstalled RAM: 16GbVideo: NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 2060 6GB GDDR6 Thanks
How can I sort my source files by creation date in Media Encoder? (or how to keep the original Creation date of files in metadata after transcoding?)
Should it take7 hours to render a 30 minute video from Premiere Pro? Not 4K footage, using GPU acceleration. Nvidia driver is their studio driver! What am I missing?

Hello. Sadly I am on an older Mac. It's running El Capitan. I need a link to down an older version of Media Encoder that will work. I managed to succesfully do the same with Premiere Pro. In that case a very kind Adobe Tech Support person guided me to the right place. Hopefully I will be as lucky with my quest for Media Encoder.Oh and I would love to get an equally compatible version of Prelude too. I know I'm in the dark ages. Many thanks.

Hello, Media Encoder stops encoding with an error while trying to recode a 142 GB file. Meanwhile, VLC does the job without problems. My problem is that this file is part of a Premiere project and I am afraid Media Encoder will crash trying to render that Premiere project. Any idea or tip would be appreciated. Here is the error I get:Error retrieving frame 19389 at time 14:04:30:09 from the file: c3.mov, substituting frame 19388
If i import my After Effects Data in the Media Encoder (v14.4), it shows me that my Data will be loaded, but the window for the Dynamik Link Server is missing(,where i pick my composition) and then i am stuck in the loading screen. Older Media Encoder (v13.15 / v12.1.2) version are working fine. In the appendix you will find a picture of the problem.
