Hello friends of the community of ADOBE, I need your help, I have an after effects project in resolution of 1920 x 1080, with preview in full display, which, at the time ofrender it in after effects with QUICKTIME h.264 settings, I take 4 hrs to finish (the project has a duration of 2 minutes, without any kind of plugin, it's a slideshow), which it is me too much, and if I send the project to media encoder, it takes the same.My problem is that if I directly open the project in media encoder, the resolution ofsource size puts it I in 380 x 188, and I do not understand the because, if the projectis 1920 x 1080, because at the time of opening it with Media Encoder, I mind it 380x 180 resolution, anyone know if it is a matter of some settings? Thanks a lot.I leave my computer specifications:PCcore 17 6700 k1070 asus GTX turbokingston v400 480 gb SSD16 gb ram 3400 mhz ddr4
Hey there,Up until CC 2017, If you sent an AE composition to Media Encoder, it would have been set at the full resolution of the composition by default. Now, if you set the composition to less than full resolution in AE, it will be sent like that to Media Encoder as well. I don't want this. Anybody know if there's a setting to turn this off please?
Hey there everybody! I can't seem to get AME to render files from AE because it keeps marking layers within the comp as offline in every clip. It seems to only be doing this to any movie file (all the .psd or still image layers/effects show up). They are online and fine in AE, and since I'm exporting somewhere around 25 4k clips from AE, AE will crash a few shots through. I figure that AME will handle the render better, but I can't do it with this offline problem. I've purged the cache and restarted a few times, moved and relinked the files, reinstalled, and unclicked 'import sequences natively' and haven't had any luck. Any ideas? Thanks so much. (Also, I have a pretty good comp, Windows 10, GTX 1080 and 32gb of ram so that shouldn't really be a problem) Any fix on either After Effects or AME side will help get these shots out. Thanks.
HiI have used the function to stitch clips in ME.Drag-drop on Stitch button. Before encoding I changed the rendering option to add the name of the clip(s) on the rendered video. To my profound disappointment it did not work as I expected 😞Only the name of the first clip has been added to the whole reel. option looked so nice to create proxies of B-Roll without dropping them in Premiere.Did I miss something or this kind of option is still to be implemented.?Thanks for letting me knowCedric
I've been recently having a problem with Adobe Media Encoder CC 2017 after the update from 2016 to 2017.I would honestly appreciate it if someone could help me solve this issue. Exports from the after Effects of in Media Encoder.Exhibited the following settings in AE:But AME accepts these settings as follows:
If you think that it would be a good idea to have your computer shutdown when AME has finished processing a batch of files, (say you left them running overnight), then please visit the feature request page;Feature Request/Bug Report Form and add your support for this request.
hey,I have a short clip on AE 2017 (around 7 sec) and in 1920x1080 resolution. Simple slide in and fade animations.I used to export all my animations from AME because usually it made small file sizes and so on.But suddenly it got very bad. AME estimates my file size to 3M and when its done - its over 130M.ONLY thing what kept the file size down was changing the Metadata info (no metadata at all) - then the estimation and the actual result matched. But this also messed up the quality of the result. What the heck happened? Thanks.
I exported a Captivate video only 2.9MB. and I bring that video into Media Encoder to trim the length and export but size so big, if I match source. Anyone knows? Thanks
I'm wondering how to set up for a network computer to do my rendering from Premiere Pro. Is there a step-by-step guide on how to get it running? I'm on a Mac but the network computer is a Win machine. Should't be a problem right?Update: I've got the actual connection set up and Adobe CC installed on the remote Win machine now.
Recently updated to AME 2017. I normally like to load the Encoder Queue with multiple exports from After Effects before starting the rendering process. Since updating, Encoder keeps exporting the previous version of the Comp I'm attempting to export. It's as if Encoder is not recognizing the changes made in AE.I've tried restarting both programs, clearing the queue and only exporting one file at a time, but the problem persists.I'd love to get some advice on this. Thanks!
I am running Media Encoder on Windows 10 and it has only allowed me to encode 1 file. Any other files i place inside the encoder fails. All of the footage has the exact same specs. Ironically i can keep uploading that one file and it will encode it every time without any issues. I need to know why I can not encode my MP4 files that i shot with my Canon 7D Mark II and trying to encode them as h.264 YouTube HD 1080P 29.97. Im using that preset because Premiere Pro will not just take my files straight from the Canon 7D Mark II. Is anyone familiar with this issue? Please Help. I need to know how to format files without losing quality.
HiI have a question, I noticed when I export a Premier File into the render queue for Media encoder it exports a file but if I hover over the name of the file it gives me a temporary project file path of project/var/folder... do you know why this happens and it doesn't just use the original Premier path. It appears to copy the premier project into this temporary path. It feels like it renders slower because it reads the duplicated project file and rendering a new project file per exported sequence. If anyone knows why this is would be great? Is this normal? Looking to increase speed of encoding.Thanks.
Hello,I am trying to render a video in mp4 format from media encoder, but the problem is that I don't see any mp4 format. What I did was exported the vid from After Effects to Media Encoder and simply tried to change the format, but do not see and mp4 option. Am I missing something? I am new to all this and have searched many threads and just don't get it. Please help, thanks!
I want to be able to continue to add projects to the queue while i am encoding but am afraid to try it in the middle of encoding. Can i do this?
Hey,I'm working on 4k video on adobe premiere pro.I send h265 1920x1080 video to people I work with.Since a few hours, AME doesn't transcode my project until the end. It stop each time at a different moment. In the queue appears a yellow triangle. It just says "échec" in french ("failure"). With the following message "Error Compiling Movie / GPU rendering mistake".The problem has appeared after I duplicate my timeline for edit a new version of it, I add a lumetri effect, I zoom on some shots, and I add a logo in .tiff at the end.Exporting a small part of my timeline work if I don't click on my mouse (to go back to PPro in background-because AME is in foreground) during the export. (On the full timeline export, it doesn't work even if I don't click on my mouse)I exported previous versions of the full video this morning and it works well.I add a lumetri effect on an adjustment layer. First I used LUT but in the preview playback a saw that video stayed flat. So I 've removed LUT and tweak

Hi,I always use the h.264 codec to display my preview files in After Effects. Unfortunately I am forced to use the Media Encoder to do so. This takes forever. Before Media Encoder a typical scene took about 20 seconds to render. Now the Media Encoder tries to connect to dynamic link server for about 5 minutes, followed by 2 to 3 minutes of encoding. Is there a way to get rid of the dynamic link and the long render time?thanks
I downloaded the Adobe Media Encoder ProRes Presets and used them to convert a batch of XAVC-S footage (from a Sony a7s) to ProRes 422 HQ. When I imported the exported ProRes footage into the timeline and compared it with the original XAVC-S footage I found that it was exactly the same and nothing had changed. Can anyone help? Obviously I am converting to ProRes HQ in order to get a better result, not the exact same result. Also, it converts my 50p footage to 25p without slowing it down, meaning I lose the slow-mo. Why is that happening and how can I fix it?FYI I am using Adobe CC 2017.
