Hi there, I have a few large avi files that I made back in the early 2000's. I'm saving all of my old stuff to the Arweave permaweb and I'd like to turn these bulky (and out of date) files into more managable and 'future proofed' files types. Any thoughts on best settings to use for this?I was using an edited form of the 'Match Source Adaptive High Bitrate' preset, using a target br of 8mbps and a max of 12mbps (these are all SD files). Any thoughts from those of you who know more about this sort of thing? Thanks!
Hi y'all, I am wondering if their is a way to set in a media encoder preset to preserve the maximum amount of audio channels that the clip has when applying to hundreds of clips and with varying audio channels. My current workflow at work for creating proxies for hundreds of clips with a range and variety of audio channels is having to manually go into every clip and make sure that the maximum available audio channels are selected. Is there a way to have media encoder automatically do that? Another thing is if I highlight them all and select one that I know has the highest amount of audio channels then it only changes the ones with the exact same amount, the rest are switched to mono tracks. Thanks in advance.
I have a 3080TI and Adobe Media Encoder/Adobe Premier are not using it to render even if Hardware accelaration is enabled. Its a major problem, cause i'm sure rendering with it will be 100% faster than with the cpu (9900k) [Branched from very old thread]
For a recent project, I chose a deep red background, but when I exported it, it was black! Thanks for any help.
I upgraded to Premiere and Media Encoder 2023. Larger MXF files will not render in Encoder - they just sit there in the queue after exporting from Premiere. Short 30 second clips will encode and larger MXF files will encode if added to the queue after a file exported in H.264 format. If the larger MXF file is the only object in the queue, it will not ever start converting.
I can't get any of the H.264 presets to generate audio in the target file. I'm backing up to V22. Please let me know when this is corrected. The new version is also just plain unstable (locked up a few times trying to generate the final multiplexed file after encoding).
Just started getting this weird green screen in Encoder. It's linked from After Effects. It seems to be just this one comp. It exported fine the other day. Before I realized it was happening, I exported it yesterday and the file was just green as well. Any idea what is happening?
Good Evening every one, media encoder give me this error, " Offline media has been detected and will be encoded using offline graphics" I haven't any clip offline in my project of premiere pro.. Can some one help me to resolve?thanksFrancesco
Merci d'avance
We've found when exporting content in Media Encoder on both a MacBook Pro and an iMac Pro that the second audio channel has been muted. So far I have tested transcoding from a mutlichannel ProRes 422 HQ to stereo H.264, AVCi100 and ProRes Proxy. All transcodes resulted in Channel 1 containing audio and channel 2 being muted. Is there any fixes available for this? On one of our machines, we're unable to downgrade to an older version.
Hi guys.Is there any ability to convert aiff to mp3 without losing the cover?I looked through the metadata window and didn't find any useful option...
Hi there,I have bat file with below contents"C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Premiere Pro 2022\Adobe Premiere Pro.exe" --console es.processFile "test.jsx" When media encoder is closed and i run bat file, jsx script runs fine. When media encoder is open and i run bat, jsx script doesn't run and error pops up in media encoder. Hello, i have a problem with gif exporting. Always it was good but after windows reinstall its bugged. So i make a mp4 file and i need to convert it to gif. When i do it media encoder doing many files but not a gif, like it export every gif frame. Can somebody help me with this issue
Why on god's green earth would Premiere / Media Encoder wait until the export is nearly complete to check that there is sufficient space for storing it?!? My computer just spent 2 hours on an export, only to have it fail at the very end, because I forgot to check whether I had enough space on my hard drive. I'm sure they can't predict exactly what size a file will be until after it finishes, but they can certainly estimate this and stop me from wasting my own time.
Good afternoon , my name is Alexiye ... I have a problem with render. My videos are rendering very slow. Video which is long 5minutes need 4 hours to be render. Please, help me how to resolve this problem and have faster render.I render video Adobe Media Encoder H.264 Youtube 1080pMy SystemCpu I5 52008gb ramGPU Nvidia gforce 920mintel HD GraphicsSSD 240gb
The lastest vesrion just stops constantly. Literally in the middle of jobs it just stops and won't go any further. It is happening across multiple workstations at different locations. No 3rd party plugins. We can't get it to link more then one or two jobs from AE. After that they simply won't go over. Even if you close and restart it simply won't accpet the jobs. If you select "Add to render queue" from AE it will load ME but the jobs won't add.It is literally useless. We are getting maybe 1 out of every 3 or 4 jobs to work.
With the latest update of Media encoder, rendering of some videos is much faster, but the texts that I have integrated encounter display problems. They seem to "move" and shift. I didn't have this problem before. For information, the rendering time has gone from 50 minutes with the 2022 version to 10 minutes with the 2023 version.
So i'm trying to export my project which i've created in after effects v23.0 but idk why my medio encoder keeps crashing need help asap
Gracias!JP
My Media Encoder doesnt Start and hang all time. Ive updated it ive rebooted my Device nothing what should i do now
I have a long sequence, about 90mins, 4K @60fps , with a lot of tracks. Does Media Encoder (or other Adobe product) support rendering the video in say 15-minute chunks and then "stitch them together" in the end? Or perhaps output in a single file but start where the last one left off. The actual mechanism doesn't matter, I'm willing to try anything as long as I can accomplish spreading out the render over multiple days without losing my progress. Thank you!
When I render MP4 from AE by AME (this is now forced by Adobe) then in comps with background set to White rendered MP4 have BLACK background.WTF? Anyone else?I missed something?Besides rendering now everything 3 times slower with AME (ram preview + slow AME startup + AME render = especially peaceful with 5K footage ) it is now need to make always Solid as background in comps??
After I had trouble with Media Encoder on an older Mac (Macbook Pro 2012), I wanted to reinstall it. However, after I uninstalled ME 15.x (2021), which is the last version running under OSX (10.14 in this case), I cannot reinstall it. Creative Cloud tells me that the current version (23.x) is not compatible with Mac OSX but there is no option to install the compatible 15.x (2021) version again. This is a big problem because other apps that I'm working with (e.g. Character Animator) rely on this version of ME to export files. The Adobe website claims that "major versions" of their apps would still be available for download but if I click 'More actions' > 'Other versions', no older versions of ME appear. Also the the wensite don't offer this version for download. Can CC not be used on older Macs any more?Is there any possiblity to install Media Encoder 15.x without downloading it from some shady websites and keep CC running on older Macs?
Adobe Media Encoder 2023 is damaged and can’t be opened. I get this message when I try to launch Media Encoder. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the software twice.
Why Media Encoder doesn't let me incorporate metadata inside the video output file (that option is not selectable)? Please see attached screenshot
