Feature Request: Add frames (black or alpha) to head and tail of an Output.I work for an organization that deals in a large volume of graphic elements (Outputs). Each Output requires multiple Encodes, some of which need black or alpha frames added to both the head and tail of the Output.Currently, we have to add those frames manually, before sending off to AME. Having the ability to add frames, implemented as a feature within an AME Preset, would be a powerful and time saving addition.Additionally, it would also be helpful to append filenames at the Preset level (not just globally from Preferences).
After the updates 22.1.3 Neither Premiere or Encoder will export a project. It just sits there. I've cleared cache, prefs, reinstalled... I have projects just sitting here. And when I try to stop the rendering, I end up using "force quite". I had to install version 22.1.2 to get it running normal again. The Log's from Adobe and Apple are attached.
Trying to add 3+ clips for stitching in the ME queue and it shows that there are more than 2 source clips, but when I go into the encode settings, the TRT is only the first two sources and doesn't show that there's any footage from clip 3 on. On encode only the first two sources are present.Sources used are windows screen capture files3440x1440 H264.Version 22.3.1 (Build 2) just updated to the latest in hopes that this was fixed, but alas it it is not.Sys info: Windows 11, Intel 9900k, AMD RX590
Would be great if Media Encoder had some sort of loading or progress bar when sending comps from After Effects.
Every time I send out an export from premiere to media encoder it is not applying a lumetri color effect I have applied on Sony a7iii 4K 30fps footage. I don't get it. It doesn't show the color grade I have when I apply the affect either on an adjustment layer or on the file itself. But the color affect I have on an adjustment file to my A cam Canon R5 footage is exporting fine. Please fix, this is adding headache and delaying my projects for my clients.
I doesn't properly reads CSV files, some times I need to stop and again start the queue to make it work. Some times it just crashes (after effect crash while rendering with media encoder).
In the Export Settings Window > Publish tab > Youtube, Vimeo, Facebook and other publish options, could you auto populate the Title field with the sequence or AE comp name? Similar to how you auto populate the Output Filename with the sequence or AE comp name. The screen shot may explain it better. Thanks
Finding a missing footage while rendering via seraching with its metadata in file system / file tree system in all drives. match the data let it render than missing footage error. Solution may be.. 1) get all drives files location and name 2) if name match then match metadata 3) then boom ! It will work in automation and work relative ai path system with metadata in mind. Please work on that.
I have a massive number of files I need to render out from AE at 1/2 res and they all are different resolutions and aspect ratios. I've seen others acting for this feature from back in 2016. How the heck has this not been implemented?
Animatied GIF can embed timing, looping and color palette information, but AME does not give these options.
Allow the user to create different Output templates (like in AE), using fields/properties like : Custom textDate Year/Month/DayTime Hour/Minutes/SecondsProject NameFile NameRelative pathFile extensionWidthHeightetc.
Currently Media Encoder outputs gifs, but doesn't include any meaningful controls over its size, bitrate or color depth. Because of this, I (and I assume most others as well) don't use Media Encoder's gif export at all and instead bring videos into Photoshop to create gifs. Please add more controls over gif output in Media Encoder and Premiere.
Hello Everybody, I would like to ask if there could be an option added maybe to premiere or especially to Adobe Media Encoder to be able to Remux files to different containers. Option also without transcoding just copy the CODECS from input file and change only the container. Example there is one really important remuxing that is needed and there are just so limited the options for someting so simple. In Broadcasting Centers there are still a lot of equipment that only support Transport Stream (TS), as there is only option from Adobe for MPEG2 and not for H264 which is what we need. Also if there could be one option for only multiplexing to change container with out encoding again would save a lot of time for cases where the files are already h264 but mp4/mov/mkv. By selecting multiplex and with codec to only copy would take seconds even for 2 hour long videos. Thank you and hope somebody will take this in consideration for future update.
automatic variable frame rate adjustment. It would be really nice to have an extremely simple option checked at render time. This option would be used to automatically adjust all sequences with variable frame rates (for example one sequence at 30 / fps and another at 60 / fps in the timeline)This would therefore allow us to no longer worry about which fps is present in our assembly. A simple click and the software takes care of itself forcing the frame rate of all images to the right frequency while synchronizing the sound.(sorry for mistakes, I use google translate)
Frequently AME suspends encode jobs when Windows locks & turns off the monitor in the power saving scheme. Would it be possible to allow AME to continue processing encode jobs as a system job in the background so the encoding can continue even during a screen timeout? Furthermore, it would be great to have an option in the preferences or Encode options to allow AME/Premiere Pro to prevent machines from sleeping while an encode job/batch is processing.
Allow for configuration of transitions (dip to black, crossfade, etc.) when stitching clips together using Adobe Media Encoder.

For r128 compliance the Loudness correction needs to also corrects “loudness range” LRA (0-15LU)That's mandatory for TV deliveries.
AME does not use all cores, because of unknown reason (OpenSource encoder can do this). I have an 32 Core CPU (Threadripper) and only 5 Cores used.Either AME should scale encoding processes (without GPU) to more cores, or AME should allow to start multiple instances (without GPU) to use the other cores in parallel. In my case encoding into DNX 4K takes only 5 cores with only 200Mb/s and waste the other cores with doing nothing. Encoding takes two times than the length (approx. 30fps). I could render 6 streams in parallel without any problems, but i can't and waste insane time.So please:-1-Scale non GPU rendering to a configurable CPU core amount. This will require massive rewrite of rendering code and this is maybe unrealistic-2-Allow to run multiple non GPU rendering AME at same time. Let the user decide how many instances. This would require just a little piece of code without rewrite the entire render pipeline. Conclusion:Please stop ignoring multi core and multi processing, time is ove
Hi, I was wondering if you could add a new feature to reorder queue-line. It would be nice to paus a render (been rendering 4h and have 12h left) and start a new render while having the other one paused (without losing progress).SincerelyEssi
Handbreak can do this, so why can't the best video encoder on the market do it yet?Ability to convert a variable framerate video to a constant framerate video
If you've got hundreds of clips in your Queue panel, operations can become extremely sluggish - that needs to be fixed. But if you accidentally pick the wrong setting to apply, the app can beachball for many, many minutes with no way of cancelling the operation . Then you have to wait for as long again to undo the same operation. We need a simple Comman-. or Esc cancel option to be able to stop such time-suck behaviour.
It would be great if AME has an option to include a project link in the same way the After Effects Render Queue does in the Output Module Settings dialog box.
Have Media Encoder see when custom LUTs are being used in a project and either A) Automatically import them into ME from Premiere or B) Provide a warning that an unavailable Custom LUT is being used and then provide instructions to fix - i.e. copy custom LUTs from PP folder to ME LUT folder.
Media Encoder puts all original media in ugly folders, it would be nice for example if the file could be put in a new folder as the same name of the file or even a user specified folder.
