@kglad  Latest versions of Animate have issues opening older FLA files which are not corrupted at all. Re-saving the file in Flash CS6 format opens perfectly fine in AA24. Previous versions of Animate had intermittent issues with such older files, but those were fixed with updates at the time, while there was still some dev team behind Animate. I believe that these file compatibility issues / regressions are not intentional, but only a result of incompetence and the total lack of QA.   @Typographist  Animate is a wreck with hundreds of bugs and most likely abandoned. Try the oldest Animate version that you have access to - it may be able to open your files without the need to go through CS5.5 or CS6. (For example, AA 22.0.8 opens a complex Flash 8 FLA normally, while AA 23.0.2 can't open it at all. AA 24.0.7 opens it with some symbols missing and pops the message you posted earlier.)   If you have SWFs for your old Flash files, you can just integrate Ruffle and that should easily take care of displaying them in modern browsers.   ... I remember some reports that in some of the versions drag and drop did not work. The version I tested with is AA 24.0.7 and it works there. Anyway... Animate has hundreds of bugs and no one is going to fix most of them. In the other thread that I linked earlier, @Mario_CR  posted links to two threads on the OBS forums. I believe that you're muddying the waters with a completely different problem here, mixing the original (driver) issue with a file format compatibility issue.   44 100 Hz, 16-bit audio in PCM WAV format is what should import without any difficulty. Try this attached WAV yourself. Use File > Import > Import to Stage, then add it to timeline and set to stream. You can also drag and drop the audio from Windows Explorer into Animate's timeline.   ... View more

@Toby5C93  You're wasting your time and you are wrong. Layer Depth as implemented at the moment was never meant to be anything else - just a tick in the box in a new features spreadsheet. I have not seen any such information. I don't use OBS and have never faced the issue myself. Hi João! Great!   Yeah, it's been there and causing problems since at least Flash 8.    I haven't dug into its reason for existence, but it seems that the newer versions don't record this path when copy/pasting symbols from one saved document to another, while Flash 8 does. So maybe they've quietly 'fixed' the issue without providing a way of erasing the data.   This was probably intended to be part of some multi-user workflow, later abandoned, where assets could be external and reside in shared locations.   ps. Hi João,   Yes, we've had to deal with this persistent and unwanted path several times. Here is one way of getting rid of it, which I have discovered through experimentation:   1. Create a blank, new, unsaved document. 2. Copy the symbol with the path and paste it in the new document. 3. Enter the symbol and make a small change to its timeline: I extend it by one frame or add a blank new layer. 4. Exit and copy this altered symbol. 5. Paste it back into the original document, replacing the original Library item. 6. Check for the path - it should be gone. 7. Yes, you should get one image per frame of your project. That is why it is called an image sequence, in this case a PNG sequence. To export PNG sequence correctly, use File > Export > Export Movie... and from Save as type choose PNG Sequence. For PNG settings, choose: Check the PNGs to make sure the camera-related problems are not visible there. PNGs should look exactly like what you see in the program.   If you have audio, either export it separately as well or use the audio from the video with the broken camera in your video editor. How to assemble the PNGs into a video in Premiere is explained step-by-step in the thread that I linked in my first post.
