Hi Clay, yeah 'glitch' is probably not the best term to describe the issue, but I know what the user is talking about. It is unpleasant and not that uncommon, while the reason for its occurrence can often be unclear. The issue manifests itself like this: If you have a key at frame 1, then a tween occupying frames 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and a key at frame 9, the symbol moves smoothly until frame 8 and then lands into frame 9 with a little 'jerky' unevenness. This is not related to a moved Transformation point. If you convert all frames to keys it is likely that it will disappear. Could be due to some rounding of coordinates during the X,Y position calculations. Can be a bug. It has been present since at least CS6, maybe earlier versions have it too. It may happen more often if you work inside a container and the 0,0 point of that container's coordinate system is far away from where the tweened object is. (the rounding errors seem to get larger away from cenrte) It may in user's case be related to using camera - a feature which I don't use, but from comments it seems to be adding a layer of unnecessary complications and problems while adding zero functionality to already existing workflows. ... Hi! Difficult to tell what the reason might be without actually seeing the file, but as you say it is supposed to be smooth and in most cases is. Reason for such behaviour could be too many frames in a span with too little movement where the increments are very small; other reason could be extreme scaling of the tweened object. Another thing to try is to switch to Full Preview mode to make sure that you are seeing the best possible representation of those vectors. View menu > Preview Mode > Full. Default is Anti-alias, return to it if there is no improvement to the tween. Try with a symbol that is at 100% scale and tween across a reasonable distance over a reasonable amount of frames so that the offset per frame is at least 1px. ... Mostrar más

As far as I know (html5 is not my area of expertise) you have to choose HTML5 Canvas when you create your new FLA file first and then upon publishing it (Ctrl+Enter), Animate will export/generate the necessary files. By default Animate cannot create a wrapper around a selected block of frames. See if this decompiler will be able to get most out of your SWF http://pdfrecover.herokuapp.com/swfdecompiler/ Try to get into the habit of saving 2-3 versions of your work per day and frequently create backups. At the end of each work day I create two backup copies on external drives and always start the next day with save as... adding an incremental number or letter. Then save as... at least two more times during each day. You end up with versions which you can always go back to if you make a mistake and upon successful completion of the project you can only keep the last 2-3 and delete the rest. Flash used to be quite robust in regards to not corrupting FLA files upon crashes, but there have been recent reports that CC 19 has such tendencies. As Michael Bullo said, the standard practice is to export a PNG sequence, which you then render into a video in Premiere or other similar program. For youtube choose h.264 MP4 or MOV. Alternatively there is Swivel which may be able to convert your SWF to video if you haven't used some unsupported features. BTW, there is also a reported bug with shape hints in CC 19.1 where they disappear when you're inside a symbol, so there may be more to it. Is your line a Drawing Object? If it is, just break it apart (Ctrl+B) to raw vector and it will most likely go green/yellow. Even if red if it snaps it should work though. ... Mostrar más

As far as I know it's related to some kind of 'fast-save optimization'. You may increase your chance to get changes saved if you open the Modify menu, choose Document... and just click OK. This will generate a Modify FLA Document entry in history which is likely to force Save to go through the whole file and save all changes. My memory is a little vague at the moment, but I think they introduced this in CS5 or CS4. It's definitely present in CS6. (Obviously a poorly implemented feature.) If you just do Save As and give it a new name most likely changes will not be saved. It is a very persistent 'feature'. The safest way to tackle this might be to copy / paste all your stuff into a new file and save that new file; then close, then open and check. Have fun! ... Mostrar más

Mate, As a last resort if none of the proper options work, you can use a screen recorder to capture the flash player window playing back your SWF and just record the audio from the sound mixer. Camtasia or OBS should be able to record at 25-30 fps on a contemporary machine without a problem. Good luck! ... Mostrar más

It will be great for the whole animation community and for Animate's reputation if good practices and knowledge could reach new adopters of the program earlier in their paths, before they get to a point when they need to un-learn the unproductive ways of setting up rigs which in turn limit their ability to achieve fluid animation. I have, over the years, written a few in-depth articles about how to achieve best results with digital cutouts in Flash. We will be more than happy to contribute links, descriptions and illustrations to the new learning area. Our goal with the EDAP Tools project is to: Push the boundaries and enhance the user experience of Flash / Animate in the area of character design and animation. Contribute to establishing a theoretical framework which should give digital cutout animation, created in Flash / Animate the confidence of a stylistically mature art-form with its own principles and good practices. These are overlapping and related to traditional animation, but not necessarily always identical. Provide some free-to-download sample files, licensed under Creative Commons as a service to the community. These should help people start more easily a journey that otherwise can look too intimidating. Yeah... I had forgotten. They removed audio export in CC. Your CC license should allow you to install Flash CS6 alongside the most recent version of Animate. Flash for Windows exports WAV. Not sure about the Mac version though. If I remember correctly it couldn't... -- In CS6 you just choose File > Export > Export Movie... In the dialog you choose as type WAV Audio: Then it pops this: Choose max quality - 44kHz 16 Bit Stereo Flash renders a PCM file in seconds. Bring it in Premiere and on the timeline right-click the audio and choose speed/duration Input the exact time that your PNG sequence has. (The wav will be a few frames longer) For the the Premiere project set same frame rate as your FLA and make sure your PNG sequence has no frame blending and the 'interpret footage' is set to your frame rate -- Generally it's good to have CS6 around.
