Was RH2019 bought as a subscription? If so, I think the installers and patches are accessible via your account. If it's just the HTMLHelp installer, DM me - I think I have a copy of the htmlhelp.exe installer kicking around.

Ah, so it would be tagged as conditional and hidden in the output; normal generation of the index would take place just the same. Unfortunate that they didn't better label the condition so as to avoid the OP's confusion.

Yes, that is the latest version. Help > About shows you the internal point version. Latest version is 17.0.7.842.

I usually put the title of the topic at the top of the container topic and then add the snippet after it. That way I can make the TOC either read the same in each location of change it to match whatever is going on in that part of the TOC. In one of my projects I produce 2 flavours of help that have about 95% the same content. In one flavour, one of the modules' programs (and thus their help topics) are located right off the main menu in another, tucked in as a sub-module to another. I use the container approach and conditional tags to make them appear or not in each flavour produced.

You're probably missing the antique CHM compiler exe - it no longer is shipped anymore. Search around the forum to find a link to a download site (even MS doesn't distribute it anymore).

I think you avoid that by using Snippets that hold the content that appears in separate topics as containers for the snippet. In your example, the content of topic A is in a snippet; the Team 1 book has an empty topic A that holds the snippet A content, and the Team 2 book has an container topic (topic A) that also has the snippet A content. Links to the respective Team topics point to the respective containers.

Where are you trying to access this? Is there a website or are you trying to use some link within RH? If so, what version are you using? [Edit - sorry Peter, missed your replies on this one. I just checked my copy and I get to the website where I'm able to sign up, but I don't know if the OP was getting stopped at an earlier stage or after signing up.]

I believe that all you need is a SP location with adequate permissions to publish there. You set that up in the Publish tab of the Output Presets.

Sorry, I just realized my test was using the Orange template - changed that to Studio and had another look - still stores favs just fine (using Chrome to look at the output). Are you making any changes to the Studio template in your test with the sample project? Because all I did was change Orange for Studio, generated again and viewed the output in my test.
