Hi, i cut out the object from another picture and i wanted to give it an outer glow so that it would look better..i wanted to give it a yellow glow but im unable to change the color to yellow...can anyone plz tell me what i am doing wrong?

Hi guys, Sorry I have a file in which i try to edit something. Its a menu, and the person who this file for me doesnt work for me anymore. It was made by a student who was so helpfull to make something like this for me. I made a video in which you can see what is happening. HI guys i am trying to change the rim of my circle. the color and the pixel size of it..But as you can see on the picture the option to change the color is unavailable. If i press the square with the stripe on it (next to pixel size in the proportions tab) it doesnt allow me to change it. Any idea what I am doing wrong? I am following this youtube tutorial. really really really thanks for the info rick. I wasnt aware AE is for only small sequences. You saved a lot with that just alone. I was going to youtube tutorials but will definitely go with the links you gave. One other question, I used sony vegas always, if I want to become better in AE, should I also learn adobe premiere instead of sony vegas?

Hello, TOday i just started with after effects. After installation tried to edit a file. First thing noticed there was no sound. Then the sound was a bit off, i guess it sounds like a robot.
