It works here on macOS Tahoe 26.2 with Photoshop 2026 (ps version 27.2) if you do the Enable Eye Dropper outside Photoshop on macOS PSUserConfig as Sameer K suggested: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/enable-optional-extensions-photoshop-cc.html Actually it turns out that even after doing the Enable Eye Dropper outside Photoshop on mac OS, the colors are sampled correctly and show in the Color Picker, but are not applied to the Stroke or Layers Styles dialog after clicking OK on the Color Picker.

Looks like that's only on the Mac side in Photoshop 2026 (ps version 27.2) Seems to work fine on the Windows side. Image>Variables>Define, then Text Replacement or Visibility fields

If you have Enable Narrow Options Bar checked in Photoshop (Version)>Settings>Workspace or on a Windows system that would be Edit>Preferences>Workspace, then the Show Transform Controls is a button in the tool options bar.

You can install the latest Camera Raw 18.1.1 in PSE 2024 by following the directions in this thread: https://community.adobe.com/t5/photoshop-elements-discussions/manually-install-adobe-camera-raw-acr-nicer-to-look-at/td-p/14539971 Another alternative is to use the free Adobe DNG Converter to convert your Canon EOS R6 Mark III .cr3 files to dng copies which should then open in PSE 2024: https://helpx.adobe.com/camera-raw/using/adobe-dng-converter.html

A common issue on the Mac side is having the System Cursor size set to something other than Normal. Go to Apple>System Settings>Accessibility>Display and make sure the Pointer size is set to Normal

Can you give us the nanes of some of the plugins? If the plugins are for Intel Macs, you can run Photoshop on the Mac Mini in Rosetta mode and see if the plugins appear. Go to Applications/Adobe Photoshop 2026, right click on the Adobe Photoshop 2026.app, click on Open using Rosetta then restart Photoshop.

In the Camera Raw dialog you can go to the bottom and change the Depth to 8 Bits/Channel, so you won't get that message about 16 bit color depth anymore. As far as the slowness, a few users on the Mac side have reported the same, so we'll see if Adobe has any solution.

In Photoshop Elements the Link icon always shows just left of the Layer thumbnail, however, it's only active if the Link icon is Orange, so i don't think it's a bug. Layer Link icons are Grey so no layers are linked Some Layer Link icons are orange, so those layers are linked

If in the Photoshop Elements 2026 Editor you go to Help>GPU Compatibility, what does it say? In Photoshop Elements 2026 Editor>Settings>Performance is Use Graphics Processor checked? Also from within the Photoshop Elements 2026 Editor go to Help>System Info and paste the contents here on the forum, which might give some possible clues for the slow performance.
