So sorry for the delay, we had to deliver the project Friday. The renders were on ACESCG renders out of C4D then out of AE. No errors out of C4D. The BETA did stop the errors. There is still general speed and stability errors using EXRs though. This is on multiple windows PCs. Mainly AMD threadrippper, 9950X3Ds and 9950Xs. Between 256-128GB RAM, 4090, 5080 AND 3090 gpus. We are getting this issue across multiple machines and GPUS. Threadripper, Intel, 4090s and 5080s all windows 11 latest Nvidia studio drivers. 3090s seem to be the only stable cards. The 5080 machines we can't go back to an older version of AE as since we bought the machines 7 months ago they have never worked with any stability in AE.   This is now at a point where your inability to provide stable working software is having serious effects on our business. I have just been told by one of your agents you know this is a BUG!!! what is wrong with you guys....   So the answer to my question is, I'm right. You never prepare for anything and always chase your tails. Every other app works with the 5080 including C4D and Redshift. Why don't you speak to Maxon and find out how to code software properly! I disabled the AMD iGPU and open AE. As soon as you click disable multi-machine rendering it crashes. AE does not see the 5080 ... View more

Sorry for the delay I am in the middle of a big project AE is doing its best not to allow us to deliver.   Where to start... The GPU is not seen by AE. It crashes constantly. It goes from saying 5 hours to render to 5 minutes on the same project. Preview are garbled, playback is slow.... It's a complete mess. Now won't start without crashing.   Multiple machines with 5080s in, Varying CPUs from 9950x to 14900s. All 128gb RAM. Windows 11 all latest updates on everything. I've just sent you the latest crash report. AE can't even open this morning. All working over a 10GB network to a NAS.   In general on all our machines, some of which have multi GPU set ups, we have found with 2025 you have to switch off multiframe rendering. Guys you have got some serious performance issues cropping up here. This is across PC and Mac systems, with constant crashes with various plugins being highlighted. This includes extractor which we use on all our jobs. This is in both 23.4 and now 23.5. Timeline lags, and rendering gets bogged down... It's a pretty horrendous user experience. If you are rendering in C4D using Redshift and have an active comp open in AE. They both crash with driver errors, meaning a restart.   Windows machines: Ryzen 9 5950X, 128gb ram, RTX 3090x2.
