Libraires dissappear from the WINDOW menu and from where we have SAVED them in the tool bar. Login, log out, clear data, uninstall, reinstall EVERY DAY has to be done to get them to come back, sometimes that does not work. LIBRAIRES should always be right here in the menu:

This error occurs inexplicably/randomly/intermittently and interrupts workflow. When purchasing STOCK assets with Photoshop open (either on the webiste or within Photoshop) most of the time we can simply double click the item and edit it, however, when working with a team or when team members are within a shared folder at the agency we have this problem when trying to download the assets: When this popup occurs we can not double click the asset we can not drag/drop it (it keeps the Adobe watermark) Instead, we must quit out of photoshop, reboot and then try again. Or, we have to download the asset from the Adobe Stock website and manually add it into the library.

The "solution" on this page does not work anymore because the interface has been redesigned. https://community.adobe.com/t5/stock-discussions/stop-assets-from-automatically-downloading/m-p/10778257 Same problem exists: How do we stop assets from automatically downloading? This feature is an annoying problem, bad UX (download notifications nag every download with unnecessary prompts) and poor UI (download nags cover up the interface) There is no preferences section from the main menu to turn this off. The on/off feature has been removed from the interface. Its as if whoever redesigned stock.Adobe does not actually have to use it every day...

Consider a file that has 100 artboards. All of them need to be exported as PNG files with transparrent BG, when selecting ALL artboards, or any number of artboards above 1 and then clicking into PROPERTIES the panel says "no properties". This is not true. All of those artboards have the same properties, a white BG that needs to be set to TRANSPARRENT.
TO REPRODUCE:
Create any number of artboards and try to select them all and change their BG to transparrent or change any of their properties from the properties panel. The properties panel says "no properties" - this is not true
EXPECTED BEHAVIOR:
When selecting multiple artboards to change their properties the properties panel should allow them ALL to be changed when ALL are selected.

These are real world scenarios that have happend, they are entertaining and funny, but also absurd. Well, a client recently purchased this, got an extended license, hired someone from Fiver, put their company name on it, put it on 500 cheap business cards, printed them and then sent this email: "Here is our new company logo, we need it updated on the website asap, a billboard is in order. We paid a lot for this and want to push branding hard this year. How much to copyright? Can you get this to LegalZoom and get it copyrighted?" To which I replied "This is the Versace logo. Where did you get this? Who told you they designed this?" They admitted they bought it from Adobe Stock. They typed in "greek goddess logo" and this comes up. This is not the correct answer because this bug has been reported by many people and for several years now it has not been addressed. Ergo, following your "suggestion" in this item above clearly does not solve the problm, therefore, it is not the correct answer. I feel like you are not reading what is posted here or have very little interest to solve the problem because if you had given this the proper level of attention you would see I have reported this in the "bug report forum" as far back in 2017, again in 2018 and again this year in 2019 along with at least 100+ other people whom have reported this bug. Switching to brackets is the problem, this problem did not exist in previous versions of DWR where we had our own custom code coloring panels built into DWR which worked fine for over a decade. Please take a moment to make this important to you, recreate the issue, read the "help" article provided by Adobe, and the bug reports I have listed. Allow me to be crystal clear: THERE ARE OVER 1000+ ITEMS FROM 100+ PEOPLE RELATED TO THIS ISSUE WHICH WAS NOT A PROBLEM IN PREVIOUS VERSIONS. Why do you think this? How is it that Adobe does not have control over its own software? Why would such a "limitation" be cited on a feature that worked for over 10+ years? This was not a problem in DWR 2016, where every/any tag could be targeted. This is simply a matter of targeting a specific STRING that is on page, this should be short work for expert software developers at a major company like Adobe, especially considering that the feature worked from 2002-2018 In previous versions of DWR the code sample I pasted above worked fine. https://community.adobe.com/t5/dreamweaver/can-not-color-specific-tags-using-main-less/td-p/10794436?lightbox-message-images-10794436=34537iB2C4726358234C5A I was able to target any/every tag in any document. I could target FORM tags and META tags in PHP or HTML making them differant colors, I could even target Media Queries in CSS documents, making them bold while all other CSS selectors were normal fonts. Ergo, I presume that Adobe removed the .cm-jzmstrip-tag selector from the active code pane, hence my previous custom theme (from DWR, which worked from 2016-2018) does does not work in the tag specific area. Consider the following selectors, which should process fine: .cm-tag{ color: #3ED144 !important; //#9E956E &.cm-jzmstrjp-tag{ &-DIV{ color: #3ED144 !important;} } } all tags are this, except DIV's, which should be this IN 2016- theme worked fine (using the old system, which was great, not broken and needed no improvement) in 2019 the old code colring system was removed, hence a new brackets theme was built, which allowed tag specific targeting in 2019 update 19.2.1 DWR stoped honoring my specific tag declarations... but only in PHP documents, HTML could still be tag-specific and now the 2020 version tag-specific selection is totally gone effectivly runining a great feature that worked for years... I have been using DWR since it was a Macromedia prpduct, Code coloring had been a feature from as far back as 2002. Thats 15+ years of great use. The last GREAT release of DWR was 2016... What happened in 2018, 2019 and 2020 editions? Did Adobe hire new people in 2018? because its very noticable to me as a loyal user that whoever is DEVing on this software is slowly runing it... DWR 2016 was the last great reliable, workling, bug free stable version.

the information on this page is incorrect, unfinished, or, DWR has a bug.
To reproduce the problem:
Make a custom theme using the page link above.
Try to style a FORM tag in GOLD and a DIV tag in GREEN in a PHP document.
Does not work. You can only color ALL the HTML tags as "1 color" which is not how DWR used to work.

To answer the question: intel i7 8700k or ryzen 7 2700x for 4k editing? Neither. Do not edit in 4k. ERGO: Use proxies @ 1/4 SD quality and watch either processor "rip" through the timeline ### I feel like anyone using PROXIES in the timeline might agree that Premiere is just as fast as Resolve, FCP, even Avid... I suspect anyone trying to edit 4k footage without proxies is going to have more concerns than simply the processor... I use Premiere. I have an Intel system from Puget I run 5 monitors I plan to upgrade to RYZEN simply based off the overwhelming stats available online. If it sucks, ill just sent it back and pop an Intel back in. For me, the prospect of editing BMCC 4k RAW files... without proxies... even the mere mention of such a thing - is horrifying. Some great videos to consider: Is RYZEN Really Better For Video Editing? - YouTube this video is important. you need to decide what kind of VP you do. Ask things like "do I need motion tracking? do I need the stabilizer feature? do I use AfterFX in my workflow?" A web developer that uses your software at work has now notified you that a file on the Adobe Stock Server server might contain maleware. Please investigate. Date: 12-3-2018 - 12:30pm EST Maleware scan found a file that CCX (creative cloud stock preview tool) downloaded FROM the Adobe server onto my machine. Its is masquerading as a JPEG, it's triggering a RiskWare.ExtensionMismatch because there is more than just image data in the file. I quarantined it and removed it immediately. I suspect a stock user is exploiting your system by uploading jpegs with a virus in them. Now its up to you to secure your system. For years DWR was maintained properly and very well. The 2017/18 releases are horrible. From my feedback alone in the BUG reports and comments on other's with the same bug there are 100's of unsolved issues. Many of these issues did NOT exist as problems in the 2014 version of DWR. These stats here are from my feedback and they are horrifying. In the main bug system the totals are even worse Adobe Dreamweaver: Bugs 903 ideas Adobe Dreamweaver: Ideas 1601 Adobe Dreamweaver: Bugs: Hot (903 ideas) – Adobe Dreamweaver CC: Feature Ideas The "ideas" are NOT really ideas, they are BUGS and for whatever reason the Adobe Dreamweaver team just calls them "ideas", but trust me, 90% are bugs. I suspect they want to hide how bad the problem is from Corporate. This is insane. Hence, my questions are rhetorical in nature and directed at the CTO, CEO, or Product Manager for Adobe as well as whoever is in charge of Dreamweaver, and perhaps anyone from Adobe who used to work there and at one time was part of the original sane Dreamweaver team... Did Adobe give Dreamweaver to new developers? If so, are you aware that this new team has ruined this product? If not, what in the name of all that is web standard happened to your existing team? What happened to the Dreamweaver dev team that made the 2014 and 2012 releases? Heck lets go way back, what happened to the Macromedia Dreamweaver dev team? Are you going to fire this team and never allow them to touch Dreamweaver ever again? Did you know that all of the problems with Dreamweaver 2018 can be fixed by switching to Dreamweaver 2014? I am a web developer and NONE of my clients ever manage to send HTML5 video thats proper for the web, so I end up having to be a video guy too these days. I've been using other nonsense software to encode OGG and WEBM and I am very grateful to have found this post. Too bad your links are broken and Adobe never managed to put OGG and WEBM into media encoder... Update: Can I export WebM and OGG files from adobe media encoder? Turns out this thread has working links, pretty simple. You just end up adding the following files: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Common\Plug-ins\7.0\MediaCore Ogg.prm and WebM.prm Worked for me.

I agree. Very misleading. If the video is not available for use with the image credits nor the monthly packages then it should not be listed as available on adobe stock. I feel this Advertising is 100% CLEAR that credits can be applied to ANY item. Am I somehow "misinterpreting" what is sated on this page? Credit packs for Adobe Stock I paid top dollar for 50 credits and was expecting to use them on video based on what was promised in the Credit Pack and subscription agreement. Can someone at Adobe please explain what seems to be a contradiction: Credit Packs state they can be used on ANY content, (using the word "UNIVERSAL") So is it true or not? If I have 50 credits on stock.adobe.com can I use them on video (as claimed by adobe) or not? If not, then please elaborate on what exactly is being sold in Credit Packs based on the language of the page above? Specifically, this line from the terms: "They’re universal; meaning that they can be applied toward the purchase of any content on Adobe Stock " This page leaves me with what I feel is the most reasonable and obvious assumption: How is Video not part of "any content on Adobe Stock" if the credits are "universal". I can not understand why anyone would want that to happen, closing tags like </, ok, sure thats useful, but closing brackets and parenthesis makes the coding process very annoying and hard. I noticed the same problem, Is there a way to request this feature? UX patterns would dictate that any item should be able to have a preview saved (since it's how the other items work). Its important to creating collections to have them all in 1 place, right now we have to bookmark each page, open it separately or download the jpg preview, but that preview is useless because it can not be found again when the window is closed. Can we get the save preview feature going on all items here please?

the logic here is simple: DWR has always been a mix between WIG and IDE (doing neither one very well). However, what it does do very well is act as a bridge in Adobe dominated workflow* for full stack development across 100's of sites. The more the program leans toward "design" the more annoying and less useful it becomes (at least for what I do). Therefore: why not take the final steps toward bonefied IDE, (or, just make it into another 'dog and pony show' Design tool for people who think they can phase out the need for coders). That said, Adobe already has "design tools" for websites, (for example Edge Re-flow) and as such some of the new features stuffed into DWR, in my opinion, could have better been put into Reflow. I do agree with your 3 points, "UN FUBAR", (fix, tidy up, tweek) and they were doing that, till 2017 came out. The 2018 release is almost back to where 2015 was for usability, it even has a GIT panel. I would like to see DWR head toward IDE. * Adobe dominated workflow - By this I mean getting PSD, AI, IND, and Edge ReFlow documents (all made with the most recent 1 day old CC releases)... Packed with Adobe Stock collections, typekit and Kuler profiles embedded in them from design firms... and be expected to turn them into functioning websites/apps within illogical deadlines, while being able to collaborate with the designers and on top of all that, be able to update/revise 100's of times... across 100's of projects. My STE folder has over 1000 site profiles in it, at least 1/2 are active. To give a trivial example of the problems 2017- removal of the ability to filter the site list by typing in the keyboard now makes it take 1-2 min to find a site in the list (which used to be a 3 second operation), do that 100 times in 1 day and serious time is being lost - 2 hours VS 1.5 min | over 30 days | is 60 hours of lost time. That was caused by Adobe leaning toward "design" and forgetting about good UX and development needs. They removed a feature which does not matter to Designer type users who don't care about the FTP panel or the ability to filter through 750 site definitions and caused a huge problem for developer users.

Update: As of today looks like DWR CC 18 is useful as a development tool again (like 2015 was) Since this original post and the release of 2018 i've done the following: Yelled at the screen, complained to peers, posted bug reports, posted ideas, made videos, tried to bring attention to the issues here on the Adobe Forums Uninstalled 2018 and reinstalled once a week, every week, waiting for it to work While waiting I considered switching to: blumentals PHP, CSS and HTML editors https://www.blumentals.net/ conclusion: annoying and not robust enough UltraEdit suite (studio, ftp, comapre, edit, ect...) UltraEdit | The Original Text Editor conclusion: almost what Dreamweaver 2018 should have been.., almost If Adobe pulls this kind of nonsense with DWR again, UltraEdit is where i'm heading PHPstorm, RapidPHP, Netbeans conclusion: they do not integrate with Adobe workflow "seamlessly" annoying things like having to use the ancient "Windows Tree" to assign files and folders. bleh... the FTP process is annoying verity of missing features (mostly psychological, I suspect they may have had features like DWR but I was not intuitively finding them, for example, pressing shft+ctrl+U to upload or ctrl+W to close only the file your on, ect...) None of which "fit like a glove" when looking for a replacement for DWR 2015 The GOOD news I watched about 140 bugs get patched here: Adobe Dreamweaver: Bugs: FIXED (141 ideas) – Adobe Dreamweaver CC: Feature Ideas including the "FIND" feature which is now split into "ctrl+F" and "Shft+ctrl+F"... finally... This guy pushed out an AWESOME code coloring pack that is what Adobe should have done to start Dreamweaver CC 2018 / light and dark themes note: its not quite the same, but it's close... 2018 does indeed have GIT integration (kind of... lol) It's installed and actually working - without crashing. TO DO I don't understand why this feature does not have 1M+ votes... Can you help with a problem? Notice the following EOF section in a .PHP file. In the old version of DWR it was possible to have code coloring apply this way, (where HTML within the following setup could be colored). Any ideas how to pull this off? for example, is there a way to target: <<<EOFEOF <!-- ?> --> Also, please take a look at this JS scheme. Yours is very close... but I can not get it to be quite the same. Any ideas here? Thank you for your consideration in this matter. You have done a great service to the entire Adobe DWR community with your themes, they are almost "perfect" (ie: the way it used to be)

James, I am having the same problem. It appears your answer was selected as the correct answer, but it would be great to have some more specific details here. For example, I opened AfterFX and mine is already set to use the "conformed cache". I turned various settings on/off, changed disks, even uninstalled and reinstalled both FX and PRE (which is really a major interruption to workflow in the middle of a project). I find the solution here to be rather ambiguous... Can you please elaborate on exactly how to fix this issue? A screenshot of settings or quick screencast video? Thank you for your consideration.

The question here is simply "Are there 2 conflicting interests with Dreamweaver's intended use?" to which I feel the answer is an astounding YES. Adobe has tried to combine oil and water and as such 2017 now is neither oil nor water and has lost much of it's usefulness.

Because DWR integrates into the Adobe Workflow and Brackets lacks many of the features DWR already has such as site definitions. I manage 250+ sites, that's alot of STE files, no way im FTPing that stuff Please consider that the point of this discussion is not to "move away from Adobe DWR". It works, 2015 is great, it was on its way to being nearly perfect... but 2017 was awful, its like a "plane boat car", sure, is does all those things, but none of them very well, where as 2015 was like a really fast stock racing car that just needed some turbo added in and a new paint job, instead, they shoved a boat propeller into it and some wings and now it barely races... Dig?
