After updating to both Tahoe 26.1 and ID 2026, I can no longer package files located on my Synology NAS. I'm getting the "indesign could not package the document cannot copy necessary linked files" error. I can package if all of the files are on my local drive. This is fine, except I have thousands of files on the NAS that my studio works from. Anyone have a solution for this? I'm going nuts. My phone call with Adobe support was "if you resaave all of the linked files with new names in new locations, they will re-link up" This is a nightmare for a studio, so its a non-starter. Affinity works fine, and would be a PITA to move to, but I'd prefer for now to stick with ID.

Since we are a 2 person shop. we didn't make any huge changes. This seems like the worlds most inefficient wat of working in the world, especially when every other piece of software Adobe makes allows for working this way.

Photoshop 23.02 Macbook Pro 2019 16" 2.3 8 core i9 16GB RAM I'm unable to save files to a network drive (Synology). I open a file, make a small change, and save. It goes and makes a temp file and fails at 99%. I get an error message. I can rename the file, but I do not need several huge files with minor changes. I used to be able to do this (forever, since Ive been ising Photoshop since 1996), but am no longer able. Photoshop has full disk access.

The menu page of this adobe example: https://indd.adobe.com/view/11958f5e-0b44-4073-a089-7d28d6ae49e6 has a panning image, I know that you could do this with DPS, but I'm not made of money - can this be done in indesign and ePub?

I just found this: https://indesignsecrets.com/using-reverse-to-slide-in-and-slide-out-an-animation.php It looks like the mountain is the same button to play and reverse the animation. How do you do that? The indesign secrets has two buttons doing the open/close....

I have been trying for two days to get a menu to animate in and out like in the "Five Days from Nowhere" Adobe Sample -- https://indd.adobe.com/view/11958f5e-0b44-4073-a089-7d28d6ae49e6 The menu is on Page 5, it is triggered by the mountain and goes up and down... I cant seem to get it right. I am using a MSO with an in and an out state. I have a button to trigger the next/previous state. When I test, it alternates between the two states, this is where it gets funky. I cant seem to get the animation between the states to work. Am I doing it wrong?? Is there an example to look at somewhere? I dont suppose Adobe has the indesign file of this to look at.... Thanks, ad

Working on a large document that will have a MSO Menu on all of the pages. I'd ideally have the menu in a Library, and be able to edit the menu, and have the changes propogate to all of the instances of the menu on all of the pages, rather than having to maintain 50+ items on the pages. I am testing this, and I can see the item in the menu that I have updated, but none of the instances have updated. Is there a way to do this? Thanks, ad

I am working on an epub with a full page video. In indesign, I do have Controller set to None. Both in iBooks and the online version have the progress bar showing. What am I doing wrong?

I tried to use the external compositing tag this morning. I looked at a few tutorials, and it seems that the solid is not animating with the morph camera, it stays in the same place in the viewport while the camera/model moves. Does the external composting tag not work with morph cameras?

Trying to do some motion tracking on a C4D file. When I import it into AE, the tracking options under animation are all greyed out. If I try and use the 3D camera tracker, A red bar appears saying "3D Camera Tracker analysis doesn't work with Collapse Transformations". Any ideas? Thanks.
