@Aleke I imported a few hundred wildlife photos over the weekend and I had 38 hung up in LR Classic but there was still no sync error folder on LR Web. I paused sync and then resumed and that cleared it up to 9 photos that were still not syncing. I had to manually go to each photo and add a couple adjustments so they would clear the sync folder. Last friday I had cleared all my other photos not syncing, but ran into this issue again after importing more photos. I'm not sure why every time I import photos there's some that get hung up.

There isn't any patterns I notice, they are shot with a variety of cameras. On Lightroom Web the photos are there but when I make an edit in LR Classic then it isn't showing on the web version. Actually I just refreshed Lightroom Web and the edit came through, so it does seem to be syncing but it is still stuck in the 'sync queue' in LR Classic.

I've had it in the past where some photos get hung up on the syncing screen and never actually sync. Right now I have it knocked down to 17 but every time I upload more photos then there's always a few from every collection that gets hung up.
I have gone in and tried to add stars to get it to resync, I have deleted some and added them back in with no luck, and I just rebuilt sync data. I still am getting the same 'uploading' activity with no progress.
What other ways can I get it to sync properly? I'm on Windows 11 LR Classic version 14.2 and I do have a zip file with LR diagnostics from syncing.

Since the Healing/Spot Removal tab received the Generative AI addition, when I try to sync spot removal from lots of photos (not using generative ai) it takes forever. I am removing 2 dust spots from 120 images for a timelapse right now and it is taking 14 minutes because LR says "Your edits were synced, but updating AI settings may take some time". I didn't use any generative ai, I went through my normal process to remove dust spots. Has anyone else experienced this?

Actually the video I shared was just to demonstrate how you can't scroll quickly. My actual workflow is that I create a heirachy on my NAS with all my photos from a trip (Parent Folder + Sub Folders) and then import those into Lightroom. I then right click on those to create collections. I used to create collections first then import each sub folder one by one, but when you have 20+ timelapse folders from one parent folder, it took forever to import everything folder by folder instead of all at once and walking away for a bit. So while your options are good workarounds, it doesn't help with someone who is trying to import a few subfolders at once and then create collections from them.

If you try to create a collection and add it to a collection set, the scroll wheel on the mouse won't scroll through all your current collections. I have to manually click on the scroll arrow which for 100's of collections takes a really long time to get to the bottom.

I break collections down into subfolders as well because if I go onto LR Mobile then I can see all those folders, I can't see the main folders (I believe) unless the photos are in collections. I wish LR Mobile was organized the same as Classic even though I don't usually edit from mobile, but if I want to look at photos or show someone photos then I pull it up and find the correct collection and go from there.

I shoot a lot of timelapses which I organize by having a main folder for the day/trip and then subfolders for each timelapse. I then usually build out the exact same structure in LR and import each folder individually into collections. Is there a way to create the same folder structure faster in LR and then import all folders at once and have them place all photos into the appropriate collections based on the folder they came from? Or do I have to manually do it like I've been doing it?

I have my Lr catalogs also back up to the cloud version of Lr. I have 1 image that will not complete the backup, so it continuously says it is trying to Sync 1 Photo. I know which photo it is via Preferences > LR Sync, and I tried changing the rating, edits, ect to see if it would push through. None of that helped. I ended up removing the photo from Lr and all was fine, except now there is another photo in the same catalog doing the same thing. Is there a way to turn off syncing on 1 specific photo without having to remove it from Lr? Or what other fixes could I try?

The catalog was updated and backed up that morning before I transferred everything over. I went onto my old computer and the photos were in the correct catalogs, but that somehow didn't transfer over. All the hdr/panos going back to 2016 weren't in their catalogs. It's weird.

Replace Folders with Collections. My Hdr and Pano images didn't stay with their collections. They can be found in smart collections but they didn't remain in their original collection. I just went through manually and re-added them to their appropriate collections to organize them again.

I just transferred all my stuff to a new computer, and I noticed that none of my Panos or HDR images remained in their collections. They did remain in the smart collections though. Any idea why they wouldn't remain in their original folders when transferring everything over?

I had 82 photos that wouldn't finish syncing to the cloud. Everytime I opened and closed LR, those same 82 photos were still pending. I went ahead and tried to Rebuild Sync Data, and now I have between 400-700 photos that are still in the pending category. The number left keeps bouncing around even though I am not doing anything in LR at the moment. How can I fix the syncing issues, and is there a way to isolate out the photos that are struggling and fix those?

It seems there is a ducking issue once again, I just noticed it today. When setting audio clips to their type, normally when you auto duck then it works just fine and creates the keyframes where it needs to be. With the latest update, this doesn't appear to be working. The only way I was able to get it to work was to slide the Sensitivity slider about 3/4 of the way towards the 'high' end, and then it worked. I'll be submitted a bug report on this as well.

I'm running into the same issues. It seems that if I move one keyframe just a touch, it fixes the issue on export. But it usually takes me 2 or 3 exports before I remember to move a keyframe, which is very annoying...

When I do voiceovers in my videos, the captured audio is placed in the location where the app data is stored. Is there a way to have the captured audio be placed in the same folder that the project is working from and has all the other files for the project (like videos, music, etc for the video)? That way my recorded files are in the same place?

Hey did you ever figure out an easier way to do this? I coud've sworn that seeing the Before image always showed without presets that were added at import, but I am noticing it is not showing me that and I have the same issue as you.

My SSD with all my apps and Windows died, so I had to reinstall Windows and all my apps. I had my C: drive completly backed up, so is there somewhere that audition automatically stores your settings that I can recover and open up? Or do I have to go through and reset audition manually back to how I like to use it?

Ususally it is my guest's audio that I am trying to fix since they are usually remote interviews. So I was using Noise Reduction until a couple weeks ago when I started doing it this way. I would capture the noise of the quiet part, and then reduce it from the entire clip. However, sometimes there is audio bleed from the headphones into their microphone, so you can slightly hear myself talking in their audio. Would you capture a noise print of the bleed as well and would that remove it? I'll have to play with the Dynamics Processing one, I am not that familiar with a lot of the settings and trying to understand the curve, so might take me awhile to figure it out.

I am starting to use noise gates in my podcast interviews. I usually take a quiet section at the beginning of the interview, then do Amplitude Statistics to see where the noise levels are. Then I apply a noise gate using the dbs around the peak amplitude, and then I adjust as needed to make it sound a little better. The attack is set to 1ms, and the hold is set to 1ms. Release is 100ms. I will get random "popping" in the silent areas of the track, and I am assuming it is something like bumping the table, or a mouse click, or something. But it makes a significant pop sound. Are there better ways to apply the settings so you don't get these types of pops? Also the person talking sometimes you can here the noise gate click on and off in between words. How do you make that stop? (It is like the noise gate goes on, then off, then on, then off). Thanks for any help!

I am on a PC using Windows 10. I used the File > Open to bring the audio file in. Made some changes, then was able to save. I then removed it, dragged into the File Bin, and made changes, and was able to save as well. But that file yesterday said it was in use in another application (nothing else was open, and no multitrack was even created yet. It was the second file I worked on). Yesterday when it wouldn't save, I could use Save As and create a new file.

I keep getting random errors saying "The File is Already in use by another application and cannot be overwritten." If I drop 6 files into the file bin, and work on each one individually (not in multitrack), I keep getting 1 that has this error. I have no reason why. Any ideas?
