I have the same issue, Save for Web Error, on Photoshop 2022 and Photoshop Elements 2020. Until today, the save for web function worked perfectly. I've tried solutions suggested in this thread and none of them work! I'm using Apple Monterey version 12.4. Help!

I'm having this same error with Photoshop Elements 2020. And I checked the Privacy?accessibility list and Photoshop Elements Editor is on the list. I've also restarted PSE and my computer and that didn't fix the problem. How do it fixed the Save for Web function? It was working just last week. Thank you.

I'm a long-time user of the consumer version of Photoshop going back a couple of decades to Photoshop Deluxe (remember that?). I've had PSE11 for nearly eight years now and wonder if it's time to update. I've read a few reviews on PSE2019 and they seem to emphasize novelty elements like collage, guided edits for special effects, etc. that don't especially appeal to me. I do my PSE work in the expert panel. My questions: 1. I assume the expert functions haven't been reduced (and please tell me if they have) but have there been important photo editing expert additions since PSE11 (like maybe a gradient function as in LR)? 2. Is the raw editor basically the same or has it been upgraded? It's hard (at least for me) to find answers to these questions in Adobe's promotional materials for PSE2019. I see that in various non-Adobe online forums that PSE sometimes gets knocked as falling a bit behind photo editors like Affinity, which, for example, is getting a boost in the pages of MacLife. Can anyone answer the questions I need to decide on an upgrade? Many thanks.

I recently updated my Mac to Mojave 10.14.3 and have been getting messages like this for my Adobe applications: "Adobe Applications Manager Utilities not optimized for your Mac and needs to be updated." "Adobe Elements 11 Organizer not optimized for your Mac and needs to be updated." And so on with other Adobe applications like LR and Reader. I've had frequent crashes of PSE since this update. I asked an Apple forum about this and was told to go to Adobe. Does anyone know what's going on here and how I can fix it?

I think I've been pretty clear I don't like the subscription. I'll probably go with LR6 because I've had plenty of experience with LR and I like the program. But the next time around, I can see myself moving on to another program like Exposure if Adobe continues on the subscription path.

JimHess, thank you for that information. dj_paige, I guess I don't understand Lightroom Classic. If it's a desktop program, why is it sold on a subscription basis? Maybe I'm not looking in the right place, but I can't find a one-time price as with LR6. I assume that if I stop paying, Adobe somehow disables the LR Classic program on my hard drive, right?

I can't find the $79 deal for Lightroom 6 on the Adobe website, only the full $149 price. Where is the $79 deal offered? If Adobe isn't going to support Lightroom 6 and longtime Adobe customers like myself who want a desktop program (my first Adobe product was Photoshop Deluxe dating back to the turn of the century), what's the argument for sticking with LR and not going to some other program? For example, I've been reading good things about Alien Skin's Exposure.

Thanks, those links were great and very helpful. But I notice that one of the links asserts that Adobe comes out with a new version of PSE every autumn. Does that mean there will be PSE16 in just a couple of months? I might be buying a new camera this winter and I'd hate to have PSE15 RAW unworkable for me then because there's a new PSE16.

I'm a long-time Photoshop Elements user, going back to Photoshop LE and what came before that (I think it might have been called Photoshop Deluxe). Anyway, I don't upgrade every time a new version comes out. I'm now using PSE 11. I'd be interested to hear what forum followers say about whether PSE15 is so much better that it's time for me to upgrade? Thanks.
