Is there any update on this please? I am having the same trouble with the font Mulish. I have used the downloaded version from Google and also actived the version from Adobe Fonts. **update on my issue. I have reinstalled version 24.5 and the fonts are working. I will keep this version until it is resolved.

Hi, I contacted Adobe and they suggested reverting to a slightly older version, 18.0, which has worked. Thanks for the help though.

That's right, it remains black throughout. I have tried opening older projects that used to work and the same thing happens - black screen. Audio does work throughout though. I'm wondering if the newer versions of After Effects have outgrown my PC which is about 4 years old now.

Am I doing something wrong? When using After Effects my preview screen remains black when I try to create a new compostition or even open a previous one. I have updated to the latest version and reset my preferences but neither fixes the problem. Caps lock is off. I have searched the discussions but none of the suggestions seem to work. I use a PC: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6700 CPU @ 3.40GHz 3.41 GHz RM 16.0 GB (15.9 GB usable) System 64-bit operating system, x64-based processorr AMD Redeon R5 330 Intel(R) HD Graphics 530 Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Mike No, I am not defaulted to centre and the text box was definitely 'top' aligned before I made it into an interactive field. I have found a workaround which worked. I deleted all of my fields first. Then I created all of my default 'top' aligned fields first then created the 'centre' aligned ones after that.

I have created an interactive text field with the text centred vertically in the field. I want my next interactive text field to have the text start at the top of the box, but when I create another field it copies the 'centred' style. I have tried setting a new one in a brand new document and copying it over but it still uses the 'centred' style. Can anyone help me remove this formatting please?

Thank you Jacob for your response. My new version of Illustrator does not have 'Align New Objects to Pixel Grid' in the Transform palette. I have the magnet at the top right of the screen and everything is switched off but things are still snapping. The document origin was a print file in cmyk. Just to see what happens I have copied and pasted the objects into a new document and everything is working fine there. I know it's not the answer but at least it's working okay now.

I want to move objects and points on a path just a little, but I can't stop them jumping and snapping to the grid. I have switched everything off in the 'magnet' icon but it still happens. Can anyone help please?

When I open a document in Indesign, none of my keyboard shortcuts will work until I click on the text tool. Any ideas why that would be?
