Adobe XD

Hi,Is ther any way to connect(sync) local component to cloud library component? I'm trying to migrate from Sketch to Adobe XD but all library components became local components. I converted exsting Sketch design system library document into Adobe XD cloud doucument but all indivusual design project component are disconnected from library and became local components. Sketch has bunch of plugin to reconnect local component to any library component automatically based on component Id and name. but can't find any option in Adobe XD. What's the best way to reconnect each design doucment to master design system library?

When I select a single element to copy from the apple ios element design templates, I am unable to copy and paste some of the elements into my artboard. When I paste some of the elements the layer shows up on my artboard but the contents are blank. I can select the entire lot of status bar elements for example and they paste properly but with their background colours. I don't know what is going on, all the tutorials say it should just work as easy as point, click, copy, paste....  thanks    <The Title was renamed by moderator>

You know when you're trying to edit a text with type tool but nothing happens? Yeah, I'm talking about this bug. Usually, to work around this issue, you need to press ALT + TAB. When going back to the XD, the type tool works. I had the patience to record this bug with my phone, because it's kinda impossible to record my screen to register this bug (because you'd probably press ALT + TAB to open a recorder program, right?) The bug is here:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4umuFqanDEs Why this bug happens? I'm trying to replicate the music app tutorial you get when you download Adobe XD, but I'm now stuck on the last step. I'm supposed to make the player expandable by creating a component.Creating a component was not a problem. Creating the new expanded state was also easy. The problem is when I switch between the default and expanded states.I want the player to stay on the bottom of the artboard, so its position is set to stay fixed when scrolling. I expected the player to stay on the bottom of the artboard when switching back from the expanded state, but it goes up instead. It only stays in place if I expand it downwards instead of upwards, which is what I'm trying to do.I'm going to add some photos to illustrate what's going on.I really don't know what I'm doing wrong. Can someone help me, please? 😞   

I am getting intermittent, but ongoing issues with my files not synching. I am the creator/owner of the document but my colleague is working on it as a co-editor. She makes changes on her side and when I go to view the file, it says it hasn't been modified for 10 days (the last time I modified it). I know she's done work on it that day. When I access the file, it initially opens, then I get a "Connecting" dialog, then it tells me it's "syncing" forever before it eventually times out.  This is the third time I've had syncing issues. each time it's been a different error. I know the issue is with core sync, because the last time the Adobe technical guy deleted my core sync folder. I'm just afraid to do this myself for fear of losing something. This is impacting my whole team and, as we're working on critical COVID projects, is causing a lot of  annoyance and frustration with the stakeholders. Can someone please help or tell me what I need to do to delete my core sync

I am looking into improving collaboration with clients and think about sharing Adobe XD design not via PDF/email, but rather via the inbuilt sharing feature. However, I want to share a snapshot/version and then move on to designing. The design process can be sometimes chaotic, not something the customer should see. I only want to share dedicated versions. Is this somehow doable? Or do I need separate files for that? 

I have an ongoing curious issue with XD. Say my artboard is sized 1000 x 1000px. When I export for web, I might get a set of pngs at 500x500@1x and 1000x1000@2x, OR on a different day using the same files I get another set sized 1000x1000@1x and 2000x2000@2x. It's driving me crazy as I can't work out why it behaves so unpredictably and it's causing workflow problems. Is anyone else experiencing this random behaviour? 

Pls tell me a work around this. Adobe XD is not opening and the i am not able to access my file. pls help. I am new to XD.Anjali

Hello Everyone, i'm having trouble to share my prototype or upload my work onlilne so my client can actually see the navigation process and all my work. Anyone is having the same issue? I have logged out from creative cloud and logged in again, closed apps, re-open..... Troubleshooting didn't fix the issue.... is there any qway to share the prototypes or an online reader for XD? Thanks in advance for your help

I'm working with a collaborative cloud document and using the free Google font...Inter.  My collaborator uses a Windows computer and I use MacOS, but we are having issues where Adobe XD indicates that fonts our missing when we have them both installed. For instance, my XD says Inter - Semibold is missing even though I have it installed, but on his computer, it shows it is installed.  This is a problem because we are using the same font from Google and working on the same file yet weights of the same font are inconsistant or missing. I have no idea how to resolve this.

Hello, some of the fonts I use for my projects on Adobe XD are apparently not enabled when I open the project on the mobile application. Since you decided to remove the live preview on Android, it was the only way I had to be able to view my project with my personal fonts loaded correctly.Now, as I only have the choice to save in the cloud and open it on my phone, here is the error message (see attachment)Am I limited to use fonts that Adobe XD has selected for me or can I choose personal fonts and successfully preview them in my project on the mobile application? Thank you for helping me and giving me a clear procedure to follow.

I'm a user in China, when use Adobe XD two problems come to me:1, The "share and publish" function is not available so that I can't export the prototype and icons in the cloud, and even can not export the prototype and icons in my local disk, which make me unable to share my design with someone remotely.2, In the "plug in" tab, there's nothing and even can download them from XD management.The problem above is only due to my Chinese account? Is there any solution to help me to export the prototype and icons? Thanks!

Hi XDers.Just had a support call with Adobe about the character styles in XD not applying when clicked.Now I thought I was pretty savvy when it comes to UI, but it appears that you have to click on the 'colour swatch' or 'Ag' text portion of the character style and NOT the whole character style box.If you click on the whole character style box it does nothing. I think this is a bit of a UI nightmare. Why can't I click on the whole box to apply the style? Means I have to go all the way over to the colour or Ag part. Double clicking allows you to change the name so that wouldn't be the reason.Anyway - hope this helps someone else who may have the same issue.James

I have some clickable button or text just at the middle of my first artboard and whenever I click on them it goes to that specific artboard but not at the top part of the page. It goes to the part which is parallel to my first artboard. I just wanted it to go to the top part of the second artboard. I hope I just missed a few things

As the title says.Not all of the assets that I have marked for export are available to download from a shared link.I have tried marking and un-marking for download and re-sharing the link to no avail.

I can no longer share changes to a file I've previously shared with my clients. No matter which settings I specify, Development, Presentation or Design - with or without downloadable assets I get error 49:15. The file is not large and every time I try to share it sits at 100% for about 5 minutes before giving me the error.     <The Title was renamed by moderator>

My workflow involves renaming all artboards to the same "title" followed by an incremental number. To do this I copy the "title", then for each artboard do the following:Set artboard title field in focus (double-click on text above artboard on pasteboard)Press Ctrl+VEnter a number (e.g. 01 or 24 or etc.) The crash appears to occur when the system interprets steps 2 and 3 as occuring simultaneously. Possibly this is due to a conflict between Ctrl+V (paste) and Ctrl+{#} (set zoom scale). As you can imagine, when renaming tens or hundreds of artboards my keystrokes are very fast and accidentally timing them as to be simultaneous is almost inevitable. So this crash occurs frequently.

After brainstorming, I generally have an idea of what to put on an Android artboard in Adobe XD. But sometimes I forget some of the elements after a few minutes. To solve this problem, I want to be able to quickly just drawn a rough freehand sketch on the artboard of the final result with the elements that I had in mind. This would help me keep a reference of all the elements during the design process. Is this possible with a plugin or something? Thanks.

I'm not using wifi but am hard wired, my connection is file and Im on the latest MacOS. I've logged out of my Adobe account and re-logged in.This is the sencond client I've had that I can't show work to after being able to do so for the first 4-5 revs of a site. It's getting so bad that Im going to have to find an alternative to XD. I'm losing business!!Please give me some suggestions of how to solve this.
