Hello guys, okay? I have an Adobe Air application that will run on Android and iOS. I also have a microcontroller that has a server that serves HTTP requests and returns information about the plate. When I run my app in the simulator, it works correctly. When I use Android or iOS, it does not work. The request address is like this: http://192.168.0.50. When sending a command, it looks like this: http://192.168.0.50/setLightRoom. In Windows, the event returns HTTPStatusEvent.HTTP_RESPONSE_STATUS Event.COMPLETE before bringing the information correctly. The HTTPStatusEvent.HTTP_STATUS event returns 200 OK status. On Android or iOS, it returns only HTTPStatusEvent.HTTP_STATUS and status 0. My microcontroller uses the lwIP framework for making and receiving HTTP requests. He works with TCP, UDP, ARP etc. The return of my plate when I make a request is a string of type "ON" or "OFF". In Windows, the return works. On Android or iOS, there is no return. I am building some Adobe Flex Mobile application using Flex 4.6.0 + AIR 3.5 only for iOSThis app involves some iOS Native Extension created also by me.The thing is that this ANE uses some third party framework (GD.framework from Good Dynamics Technology). That framework requires GD FIPS linker to be used, and for that, i need to set some custom build settings in a .xcconfig file, with this content:FIPS_PACKAGE=$(CURRENT_ARCH).sdk LDPLUSPLUS=/Good Technology/Good.platform/FIPS_module/$FIPS_PACKAGE/bin/gd_fipsld LD=/Good Technology/Good.platform/FIPS_module/$FIPS_PACKAGE/bin/gd_fipsldThe ANE compiles OK, but then, I add the ANE to the app, I compile the app, but when I launch the app, it crashes because the FIPS linker was not properly got set on my Flex Mobile project.So, my question is:Is there a way to set the above configuration on my project like somebody would do in a Xcode project?Regards!

Hi all,I am needing to find a way in Actionscript 3 for a Adobe Air application to visit a website url (ex. example.com) in the background without Adobe Air opening up a web browser. After the website has loaded in the background, I would like to get all the URL link that the Adobe Air application may see. For example, maybe when you visit "example.com" it redirects you to "google.com", so I want my application to send me back whatever URL it sees after it loads the page.Can this be done, and is there any sample code anywhere?Thanks guys!

Hello, I was hoping that someone may be able to help? I have found numerous tutorials and step by steps guides for making/designing a DMG's but they seem to be failing for me in later stages of applying fancy artwork.  I have worked out how to make a new disk imagethe content inside works and the icons work once the air/mac installer has worked it's magic - ie has installed the application on the desktopI cannot change the icon and image when I bring the file information up on my screen/ I can't make it fancy - I'm needing to make the complete package with all of the artwork.Basically when I attempt to drop the PNG into the icon in top left, the file is replaced with the default png image instead of the png I dropped onto the position.Any ideas?Please note, if you have any tips on this so I can make a bespoke DMG with imagery, icons and all of the rest of it for a professional look please help.

My app is working fine in all versions prior to ios8.0 . In ios 8 it gives me the following error.Error #3747: Multiple application domains are not supported on this operating system. Please help me out.

Adobe Air will not install. It gives me the message that it may not be approved by my administrator (me).I have tried it several times, and elevated it to an administrator with the same message. Under users\local\ appdata\adobe, I have renamed the directories to force it to rewrite to no avail. I'm developing an AIR app for iPhone 4 and 5. The app is centered around a video which I have exported in two versions, a 960x640 version for iPhone 4 and an 1136x640 version for iPhone 5.Ideally, I would like to just detect whether I'm on an iPhone 4 or 5 and then add the right video and play it. However, I don't know how thisis affected by the stage size, which has to be one resolution or the other. I assume that if the stage size is set to 960x640, it will scale up on an iPhone 5 - and scale down on an iPhone 4 if set to 1136x640.In my situation, how would you solve this problem? Is there a way to prevent scaling and just placing the right video on the stage at 0,0?

Hi,Can someone help me figure out or provide some sample code on the method I would need to take to download a file from the internet and automatically have Adobe Air save that file somewhere on my computer (probably Documents folder) and also not pop-up that Save To dialog box?I'm downloading a file just fine now, but the main issue is that the pop-up window comes up and ask me where do I want to save the file. I do not need it to do that. I want it to automatically save to a location on my computer.Thanks guys

Hi,As of Android 4.4.2 ( aka. API 19 - Kit Kat ), it appears that File.userDirectory.getDirectoryListing() is no longer returning anything.  Also, a call to File.userDirectory.browseForOpen() causes my app to crash instantly.Both functions work fine in Android 4.3 ( aka. API 18 - Jelly Bean ), however.Did something change, or are new permissions required for using the File API, in 4.4.2?My setup:  I am testing in AVD ( Android Virtual Device ).  My app is compiled with AIR SDK 14.0.0.178 ( note: the app crashes on load if compiled with AIR 15.0.0.249, but that's due to a different problem ).

I've been trying to install TeeBoard to be used with OBS, however, AIR will not install no matter what i do. I've followed all the help on the support page and none of it worked. It keeps saying i need administrator access even though i'm running it as an administrator. Additionally, every time i double click a .air extension to try and install the application it wont open up with the windows installer. I've been looking at the undoManager and not understanding some basic principles, obviously. Situation, I have an AIR desktop app and want to include Undo/Redo in the menus. When I do that, it overrides the typically expected behavior of control-z and control-y, so I assume that I have to manage that myself now. I've been able to handle cut/paste overrides by capturing the menu event and using NativeApplication.nativeApplication.copy() paste() etc, but there's nothing comparable for undo/redo. So that took me on a quest looking at the UndoManager, which appears to be my ticket for managing Spark TextInput text operations. However, if I trap the menu event for undo and look at the undoManager.canUndo() after deleting text, it's always false.I'm missing a step somewhere. Can someone point me to an example or a better explanation of how to manage undo/redo in an AIR application, if you want to override the built-in menu items?Thanks.

Hello everyone, I have an installation issue with Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1. I know it probably is because of the Intel x86 processor.. but I thought Adobe fixed that already... Adobe AIR now supports x86 AndroidBasically all it tells me is Unknown error code: "-24" when installing from Play Store. I tried force installation via .apk file, by creating one off my Samsung Galaxy S4 and S5, but it just says "Application did not install". Hello guys, I am using URLRequest in my AIR for Android and iOS application. I have a microcontroller that has a server. I use a router that generates a fixed address for my card. So in my application, I send the command to the server microcontroller that filters the command performs the action and returns the state of the board. In the simulator, I send the command and caught the return normally. On Android or iOS, I send the command, it performs the action, but the return comes as undefined. I do not know what else to do. When launching an app for the first time in iOS 8 beta, there is a warning to the user that "<app name> Would Like To Send You Notifications." These apps do not implement any notification functionality that I'm aware of. Is anyone else seeing this? This seems very familiar to the Microphone privileges bug when iOS 7 was released (Re: iOS 7 Issue).

I am trying to compile an adobe air app for iOS with Danish app name? I can get localization to work with eg English, French and German, but not with Danish...I put<name> <text xml:lang="en"> English </ text> <text xml:lang="da"> and Danish </ text> </name> in the app.xml before i compile with the adt, but after compile i can see that only the English name is created in the InfoPlist.strings of the ipa.Any ideas on how to achieve a localized app name?

Hi I really need some help here!  Any help appreciated!I've created an app for iPad that currently only support danish.I'm updating the app to support english and I would like the app name (shown below the icon) to change according to language on the users iPad.
