Animate

Good evening everyone!I have an application in HTML5 canvas and I want to add some basic animations of two characters in the main page. I added one character (make him a symbol graphic) and then inside the symbol I made a motion tween with the alpha parameter (for that I remake a new symbol graphic, so a symbol inside a symbol).In the stage, I see the changes ok and everything, but when I publish to see the result in the browser, the animation is not visible at all. What I did wrong here?Help if know the problem, please!

Hi there. Recently we have been creating games/apps using HTML5 canvass with createJS etc... in Animate.The idea now is to create a story similar to Dora the explorer.We will create animations like a Dora type character walking along and suddenly she comes to an obstacle.This is where we will use one of our apps, for example a word search. She has to complete it to get a key.She finishes and walks on, next obstacle, next activity. Sorry about too much detail.So my question is, can we add each of our apps into the timeline as a movieclip.All of our apps are on one frame for example. The actions layer has all the code. The other layers have all the graphics etc...Would I just copy and paste all those frames into my story movie timeline ie: The app would fire up when they hit that frame or I would use gotoAndPlay - that way I could add the games/activities to the end of the timeline so they don't get in the way of the story and if I wanted to modify the story.Baically it's all about

Good evening everyone!I reallly need help with my project in HTML5 canvas. Ok, so I have created a stage with many buttons (9 to be accurate) and in timeline I have the layers Stage, Buttons and Actions. From the beginning the code for buttons was nightmare... I did not know why it does not work(it used to be so easy in flash), at last finaly wih the code that follows I had luck...this.pointt_button.addEventListener("click", fl_ClickToGoToAndStopAtFrame_4.bind(this));function fl_ClickToGoToAndStopAtFrame_4(){this.gotoAndStop(24);}So as the first button worked,  I used the code, the same code, to the next 2 buttons succefully. And here is the next problem... when in the forth button I used the code, it worked but it does not work correctly for the previous buttons. It takes the frame from the forth button and redirects all the other buttons in the frame of the forth. In the console of chrome it does not appear error (but in my previous atempts in code I had a problem). I really do

I'm working on a Madness animation and I'm having issues pasting sprites from my sprite sheet. It was working as normal a few weeks ago letting me paste sprites normally from the sheet, but today it has been acting up pasting the background along with the sprite and enlarging it. I'm pretty new to animate and have a basic understanding of how the program works. But I just can't figure out what the issue is. Any pointers?

I'm trying to animate some text in Animate. I'd like to have the words and letters move, like cartoon characters. I know how to animate or move objects in Animate, but how do you first create symbols or objects that are words or letters? Or do I first need to create the words and letters in Illustrator or Photoshop, for example, and then import them into the Animate Library as objects to be animated? Thanks in advance.

When I export vector graphics with Animate CC, the objects get rasterized, therefore no longer able to be edited as vectors, neither be resized and keep the quality in Animate CC.This is a huge unconvenient, I wonder when will Animate CC introduce (be compatible) the freeform gradient feature.

I need to gradually change the color of the object from white to pink. I want the color 'fade into' pink. I have looked over all the aids that tell you how to animate in Animate and they all say you can do it. I even vaugley remember doing it a hundred years ago or so, but I cannot remember the particulars and none of the listed 'how to's' tell me HOW to do that. They just say it can be done.Help!

Every time I open photoshop and try to open a photo or create a new one it will say, "Could not complete your request because of a program error." I am on the latest version of photoshop and have tried restarting, resetting my preferences and reinstalling. Restarting does nothing and resetting my preferences and reinstalling only works for the first time I open it again. I am on windows 10. 

When I create an HTML5 animation using Animate CC and host it on a web page it runs fine initially but if you refresh the page many times the animation becomes slow. Why is this and what is the best way to fix this.

HelloI am writing a game which has a single frame main timeline. On this, there is an easelJS container which has children added to it. The children are formed of a movieclip which has an animating character within it. - What I am struggling with is: I need to find a way that the movieclip can trigger changes in the main timeline. For instance, at present I am toggling a variable in the main timeline by detecting if the child movieclip is at a particular frame. But this feels unreliable, what I want to do is to get the movieclip timeline to toggle the property of a child by stopping at a frame. The game loop is 'tick' based and runs through each child to time various events, but I want the child to pass back to the game loop a status change in a property. Sorry, this isn't as clear asit could be. Any help appreciated. Thank you. 

Good evening everybody.I am attempting to create a few math based html5 documents. While I have the first version with pushing the button to do calculations sort of working, I have a few questions:1) Is my code optimal ? Keeping in mind, I would like to add alot more variables and much more complicated math in the future. Should I change or organize something better ?2) Is it possible to toggle value "c" with the same button ? Hi,Changing the color on the color-picker on the left toolbar, no longer syncs with the color-picker on teh right. They have always been the same - If i changed the selected on the right, it would update the one on the left. Is this a setting? Or just a bug?

Hello! I have transparency supported PNG images of linework, which i would like to color in Animate. (Please don't give me another suggestion on software to use instead, I have a friend helping me color and animate is the software they're working with), However, when I import my PNGs onto the stage, they are not recognized as editable objects! I would like to simply use the paint bucket tool inside my line art.

Hi everyone! I have a problem with publishing my application in html canvas to a html.file that can play in other browsers. My file is interactive and plays ok in my laptop, but it cannot play (it has only a white screen) in other machines (other laptop and desktop of my office). I want the publish file to play in every computer or mobile. What I do wrong? Please, answer if you know the answer. 

hi. adobe animate 2018 is crashing on the startup screen when it says "Loading Document Templates" or something like that. i have read a lot of the community posts for animate 2018 saying that the problem has an update that was released as the "July 2018 update" or that i need to uninstall and reinstall but it isn't working. i can't update it because animate doesn't appear on creative cloud which is probably because my friend just sent the programme files to me. and the reinstall thing has been done multiple times. is there any fixes. i would prefer to stick to animate 18 as i dont have the money to SUBSCRIBE to the newer ones.

In Animate Vers 21.0.1 there is a problem with the static and dynamic Textfield.I set the Font. When I want to change the Font it is not possible.I can not get the selection of the other font style, only the font I have used is shown in the text selection field.

I need to make an HTML5 that is not networked for local use.I may need to copy to my Android phone.But resources can't load, JS, pictures, etc.(js,jpg,The resources are in the same directory of HTML)tell me what I should do?I hope html can run like an app.No code required, just tell me what to do about it, thank you.  

When I publish video (MP4) on my Mac running Big Sur, publishing seems to stop at 60%.  Is this because Big Sur does not support Flash?How can I publish a animate video on Mac running Big Sur?

Hello my name is Mike i have question. I have done many banners in Adobe Animate. But lately i tryed to create some kind of gallery of them but i have notice some issues. When i put generated code from animate to wordpress banners doesnt worka well.They are visible when they are seperated but when i try to make few of them there is always one.What do you think is there some variables that they double each other or somethig like that? I need just advice how to find solution in Google.

I am doing an interactive animation project in school using Adobe Animate. Everything works when I test it out (Ctrl + Enter), but when I export movie, I get a bunch of compiler errors saying what's in the subject line. I will attach a screenshot of the compiler error window and the actions tab of one of the frames that is referred in the list. All of the actions use the same code that was brought by the wizard.

Hello! I am new to using this program, and i have a problem which i can't solve by myself and tons of youtubers. I need to animate a regular rectangle, i want it to move to the left and its corners become rounded (at the same time). Who do I need to pray, what superpower potion to drink to make this animation? I would be very grateful if you could help me with it! And one more thing - can i somehow copy all settings for width, height, position X and Y of one object and paste them to another object or the same object but in another keyframe? It would make all resizing work much easier.
