Animate

When I use eraser, eraser color is white. It's little bit annoying because I usually using white line.  How to change eraser color? 

I recently organized a folder for a thing I'm working on and I like to sort it by date modified, but if I'm messing with an old file, it'll make a recover file which will mess with the date modified and I'll have to redo the dates again. Is there any way I can make all recover files go into a custom folder.

Hey all,I was hoping to find a solution about the issue here. Whenever I work on big complex projects a window pop ups randomly and sometimes the background is getting black and Animate wont let me close the window. Once I close it using enter hotkey it pop ups again endless. The only way to fix this is to restart the project and the bad thing about this is I cant even save the project anymore. The file size is right now almost 500MB. Idk if Animate even can handle that but please don't tell me to update my driver or anything else because its not my computer. I have a high end gaming PC with 64GB RAM and all needed specs so im sure the issue is itself on Animate. 

Hi What is the best file to export my animation (:gif? png?....)  into after effect ? I'va tried GIF but i seems to be make my PC slower...  (oh yeah i know i've asked  Santa Claus to offer me another more strong )

Hi, i am a beginner in Animate cc , auto rigging is only working with sapmle character given in animate cc , When i create a character and apply rigging it dismantles like a flower ,there are no tutorial or any user guide to solve this issue , I also tried a plugin EDAP magnet rigging its also not working with Animate cc 2021, please help me to sort this issue outThanks in advance , Happy Christmas

Hi. Canvas publish with spritesheet - not work.

I'm trying to incorporate buttons into HTML Canvas, that will allow users to speed up or slow down my animated lesson.  I was able to do this with Adobe Animate using the following code.  Obviously Action Script won't work with HTML Canvas; I'm just including it here to demonstrate where I'm starting and hopefully make it clearer what I want to do. var togSLOW:Number = 10; BTN_sButtonLabel.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK, sButtonLabel);function sButtonLabel(event:MouseEvent):void{ togRATE = !togRATE;stage.frameRate = togSLOW;} I've searched this Community Forum using various search terms such as "frame rate" and "fps," but I didn't find any conversations that answered my question.   I'm probably just not using the correct search terms.  Anyway, if someone could provide guidance I would really appreciate it.

Getting feedback that people cannot hear sound from our Animate Canvas html5 web presentions on iPhone and Macbooks.  Why is this happening and how do I or people with iPhones, etc. fix it? Thank you!

Hey!I wonder if there is a way to create a new layer with premade blank keyframes based on another layer. Use case is - when I do a clean up, I'd love to duplicate my rough animation layer with the same keyframe structure - just empty ones. So I don't have to manually create them all the time. When there are lots of layers it adds up.Thanks,Agris

Hello, I've imported an Animate file into After Effects and its set everything up as expected.I needed to go back and tweak an animation in Animate but couldn't work out how to update/refresh that animation in After Effects.Have I missed something or is there a simple way to do it that someone could help me with? Many thanks Steve.

So when I try to import my audio to the library, I get this error sign. I tried it with a random .wav file and got the same error sign. Does anybody know what to do to fix this?

I created an animation with adobe animate 2021 on my mac - I saved the file constantly yet today when I opened it the file was completely blank. On Bridge, it shows to have 53 MB of content but nonetheless it is blank when opened. I urgently need help. 

So it dosnt look like the zoom feature is working corectlly with my xp-pen r22 pro anymore. im getting really annoyed because it dosnt help with work flow. The zoom works when i use the ctrl - and ctrl+ on the key borad but when i use the rollers on either side of the tablet it will only zoom out not in this is so fustrating because i dont have this proble on any other programs like canvas7. Dose anyone have a fix for this problem.

I keep trying to select a color with the eyedrop tool but it keeps switching to the paint bucket it won't give me the color I want on the layer. Can someone help me?

Total beginner here, just been watching tutorials today and yesterday, now I'm trying to do stuff. As you can see in the video, when I pull out the different pins to try and warp the bitmap, it rotates the whole thing which is not what I want. Why is this happening and how can I stop it?

It appears that I can't add shape hints to a certain layer or to new layers. But I can add shape hints to other existing layers. This is really strange. Why can't I add them toa shape tween in a newly created layer? And why can't I ad to that one specific old layer? It just stopped working. I could add to that layer before but not now. Or possibly the hint is added but the marker isn't visible or something like that.please help!

Hello I'm starting to work with Animate and I'm having problems using the if and else conditions. We want to take a tour down memory lane  in 2d  on web browser. Move down the street with mouse,  click hotspots for an animation, and then move on to the next  exciting area.  

Any bitmap or color gradient made in Adobe Animate shows up as a glitched green and black pixelation. When the gradient is at all changed the color creator shows this same glitched display. However, nothing is wrong with the actual scene itself, only creating colors and saving them to the color selector (I have also found this display issue on the small box that shows you the line stroke. This is a very annoying issue because I can no longer see the color pallets I create. I have already updated to the latest version and have also tried previous versions of the application. I have restarted my computer and the issue remains. Wondering if anyone has had the same issue and knows how to troubleshoot it. I put an image of the problem on the bottom of the post

i'm unsure of how this happened but now the stroke color of the brush tool (shortcut b) is stuck to this:i've updated all my drivers, deleted and reinstalled animate and reset my preferences with ctrl+alt+shift as well but that didn't work. i am on windows 10 and i am using adobe animate cc 2019

Hi there,I cannot finde the filter panal in animate 2021! I am new to animation and currently learnung with the Classroom in a Book newest edition. For the tutorial I need the filters, but checked everywhere without success. Any solutions? 

so i have a idea that leats users on older laptops/pcs use adobe animate and other apps. a bar that lets you select the app version so your able to use it. please add it adobe cuz i wanna use animate on windows 7 😉

I have two AIR applications. First one is like Admin app to send (localConnection) some information (variables) to the game screen (other Air app). But I want to see in Admin window whats going on Game screen. Game is shown in FULLSCREEN mode in other display(monitor).It is possible? I think yes. But how to do that I dont know. All google is just how to make screenshoot or something like that. I dont want to record anything anything to capture just see game window in Addmin app.
