Animate

Hi All,We are working in Ch. 5- the particular part we need help with is Adding Motion Guides for Classic Tweens.  I'm a newbie at Animate as well, so I haven't been able to pinpoint our issue.  When we add the fly as a symbol- We don't have any trouble adding the guides until we exit out of symbol editing mode. When we double click on the fly to enter back into symbol editing mode, the fly does as expected- it moves on the created path.  But after the symbol is moved onto the main timeline, it doesn't move at all. What step are we missing? TIA!

I was working on a banner ad and once I cleared my browsers cache it stopped working entirely. I had also used shape tweens in my animation - those are the two changes I made and the banner stopped showing up entirely. What do I do? How do I fix this? Where do I even start? I am removing the shape tweens and can try to diagnose an error in the browser but this keeps happening with this animation format. I regret to say I prefer the old swf format as at least they were reliable in that sense. 

I want to export an image with layers from adobe animat to adobe after affect how i do it ?

Hi! The problem that I am having is when I select Modify the window for Window opens. And when I select Text the window for Help opens. I have tried updating, unistalling, re-installing, restarting computer, and resetting workspace. I am only using a mouse and no other window/software is having this issue.  I am running the latest version of Adobe Animate

I have a really infuriating problem with Adobe Animate.I have a humanoid figure built out of about 20 objects connected by the heirarchy system.But each time I reposition anything and it makes a key or I put in a key, some of the objcts scootch just a tad in any given direction.If i were to contantly hit F6 to put in several keys on top of echother the objects will slowly creep across the sceen. This means that when I set the feet for example they have moved out of possition in the start of the sequence when I am done with the end of the sequence. It's as if they would rather be somewhere else and tries to get there.What the heck is happening?!Animate is totally unusable with this problem going on.

Hey guys, I've been using adobe animate for a project I'm working on. It's a webpage that for example shows temperature values and other things from a facility. This webpage has to be able to run on a machine not connected to the web. For this I've had to download the CreateJS library and save it somewhere on my harddisk. Until now I've been changing the reference in my HTML file manually but I wish to do this with a template.  I've tried adding the reference into my template but this will just add mine and keep the one adobe animate puts in. Is there a way to tell adobe animate to instead of using the web reference to input my reference in the second <script src=""> if so this would lower the chance of error on my part in forgetting to change this everytime I publish a page. I hope someone has an answer!   

We exported an animation from Animate and included the element in a page, we need the animation starts only when that DOM element (a specific DIV) comes in view in the page.Please be aware that the page is responsive so we cannot determine how many pixels that element has above. Thanks for any help. Franco

Countdown-Single-Slide-Template.fla - Google Drive This project worked before I updated to this version. My project no longer shows my background images. If I remove the images from the stage it works. Also If I remove all of the gotoAndStop(); functions it will show the images. What am I missing.

Hi, How to select a segment of path from an imported .ai file from Illustrator to Animate

Hi, how do I select a segment of path from an imported .ai file from Illustrator in Animate? The ai image is in the Library and I can put it on the stage - move it, rotate it, etc. What I want to do is also select just a segment of the image (part of the line) and animate it seperately but I can't figure out how to select the segment. The whole image stays intact. Thanks!

I have 2 questions about Animate.  1.Why does it cost so much money? For me it's €290 which for me is way too much. I'm only wondering.  2.Do Adobe lower the prices of their apps including Animate? If so how much is Animate when prices are lowered? Would love answers. Thanks, Cian.

Hello, I've been working on a file for some time. Throughout the process I've saved copies of each file more or less every day (001, 002, etc.). Yesterday, the latest version of my file (36) wouldn't open, it just displayed the error message that told me the file might be corrupted. I tried uncorrupting it with the WinRar method that gets suggested on this board sometimes, but it didn't work. Luckily, the version just before that one was fine (35), so I cut my losses and spent the day making up the work. This time I saved a ton of versions of this new one as I worked, and at the end of the work day I backed it up on yet another hard drive. Today, I open the latest file, and although it opens, it's corrupted: most of the animation is gone, whole symbols have disappeared, frames and layers have been deleted from symbols. The Winrar method doesn't work. The backed up versions are also corrupted in the same way. File 35, the one that originally worked, is fine. In short, all

I created a keyframe, added a rectangle, created another keyframe down the timeline, tried to scale it - both with the cursor and by typing in a scale factor - and each time I do, it disappears and shows up somewhere else. It's a fairly simple task I am trying to complete - A box outline expands from one keyframe to another down the timeline. If I draw a shape and import it from Illustrator, no problems. I actually have a pretty complex Illustrator file imported, that I have been working on all day. Every time I try to use a shape tool in Animate, something weird happens when I move or scale it. Shapes move diagonally when I try to nudge them with arrow keys. Sometimes they just disapear and  I find them other places after zooming out. It doesn't matter if I use the touch pad or the tablet. Same behavior. Is there a setting I have missed that changes this behavior? It's like it's trying to go on a different onto a different axis, but all I have is X and Y.

Hi,I am trying to create a banner for AdWords and since I'm lacking programing skills this is very confusing. When i export the created banner in Animate AdWords won't accept it. Is it possible to create it for adwords?

Hi working on HTML5 canvass's - creating standard digital display ads with a clickable click tag button. All perfect until I added another button above it (layer) with a rollover 'hover, click etc…' to fit the Brand but because it's above the click tag button it's not clickable or connected to click tag (get it?). If I place under click tag the rollover then doesn't work but the whole ad is clickable and the click tag code is OK.  Adding 'Click to Go to Web Page' to the button just throws another URL into the mix and I think will affect the click tag tracking (however is sort of works). Ideas? 

I'm about to animate a banner to go across the top of a web page.  I have my components, and I am ready animate it using Adobe Animate.  I am familiar with the process of using the timeline etc, but before I start... Should I be creating and publishing it as a html5 canvas?What's the best way to add that to a web page that makes it responsive? any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi All,I am trying to create a series of "PNG" files from an animation.  Given Blue Macaw, I would like to use Adobe Animate to build an animations then export it to a sequence of PNG images into a folder.  I reviewed the tutorials, and know where all the menu items, and dialog boxes are.  My issue is; all the exported images, using Export or Publish are the same image.  Why are they all the same key frame?  There are 125 frames in the sequence and I saved it here as an Animated GIF.  No matter what I try, the same thing happens, only the first frame is exported. Thomas

Hello,I have an Adobe Flash Game that I need to be converted to Adobe Animate CC.  Happy to pay for the conversion.  My design person doesn't know how to do it.  Can anyone help?

For the life of me, I cannot figure this out, I've searched to see if anyone else is having this same problem and It seems like I'm the only one.In the 2020 version, this was extremely easy, I'd just tap one of the default gradients and edit it from there. But now I see no place for me to do that. This is leaving me with the default block colors and it is extremely limiting.  Usually, I'd insert something like this and then be able to change it, but after the update, it looks like I'm stuck with using these defaults, and changing the colors isn't an option.Is there a panel I'm missing? Even with the gradient transform tool, all I can do is move the gradient around, changing the colors just seems like it was a feature removed for no apparent reason.

I'm tired.  I've been using Flash (Animate) for 20 years.  They've rolled out a few nice new features over the last decade, but with each release the program just gets more bug-riddled.  I came to the conclusion many years ago that no one at Adobe actually uses Animate on a day to day basis.  They may use it to make video tutorials,  but they don't road test it.  And they sure as hell don't have an adequate QA department.  It's obvious that Adobe doesn't have their heart behind this product anymore and they haven't for years now.  Probably since Jobs put the first nail in the coffin. So,  after many years of hanging on, I'm finally letting go.  I'm cutting the cord.  You won't drag me down anymore, you magnificent beast.  I'm a free man.  Thanks for the good times.  I wish I had left you long ago, before it got ugly.  But that's on me.  I had too much faith in you.  I'll try to remember you as you

I created html e-learning using Animate CC, and I had problems when I trying it out in the Moodle app. On the content page, all bitmap images are not displayed at all, only text is displayed.Can anyone suggest me on how to solve this issue? thanks in advance 🙂 This is how it looks in the moodle app This is how it should look, it's using the browser
