HiI wonder why Adobe Animate always fail deleting unused files in the library ? It doesn't select all the unused files the first time, I have to run the command twice to get rid of all my unused files.Thanks

Hello, I want to make a simple essay quiz in adobe animate using HTML 5. But I little bit confused about using HTML 5 script. I'm still new to adobe animate especially using html5, I've been looking for tutorials on youtube, but I only found when using actionscript 3.0. only simple essays with short or one-word answers, result at the end of the frame. Is there any recommendation/tips/ or tutorial about my case? thank you 

When i click on the button layer ... in the actions poup in the image above, nothing happens?

Hi, I hope folks can help with this issue. I have created and animation but every time I close and reopen the file some of the layers are no longer visible. They keyframing edits are still in the timeline, the layers are not hidden, and when clicking on a frame for one of these layers, it seems to be empty. I have re-edited a few times but the same issue seems to happen (with different layers) each time I save, close, then reopen later. Does anyone know any solutions? I don't want to have to re-edit AGAIN or try to complete the animation without closing the file -Thanks!

I'm coding an app where you draw shapes with the mouse. When the shape is complete it gets assigned the name "Room"+RoomNum. It then gets nested inside a MovieClip named MainStage. This all works fine but whenever a shape is added to MainStage the x,y coordinates of that shape are always 0,0 no matter where the shape is drawn. How do I get the actual coordinates relative to where it is on the MainStage MC?My goal is to get those coorinates and place text in the centre of the shape.

This seems like a very simple thing, but I cannot locate any information on how to do this.  TweenJS appears to only handle position and alpha properties.  When mousing over a MC, I want an other MC to darken, something like this very simplified abstract concept: MC1.mouseover {MC2.Brightness = 50%} MC1.mouseout {MC2.Brightness = 100%} Has anyone done that before? How did you do it?  Thanks.

Hello,I know this question has been asked before but I am not getting any results from the previous answers. My code is very simple, not even complete yet. This is actually a tutorial I am following for class. My instructor sent us mp3 files to download and I keep getting this error:Error #2044: Unhandled IOErrorEvent:. text=Error #2032: Stream Error. at MP3_Player_fla::MainTimeline/frame1().I have already read that one solution someone had was to change text behavior from multiline to single line and that fixed it. Well in static text, the behaviors are set to multiline and greyed out. Is it only me or Animate start to crash a lot? And ever make no recovery. Its pretty difficult to work in such conditions. Does anybody have such an issues or I have to check mu hardware? 

Hi, I see a lot of tutorials mentioning the looping options and the three options, "Loop, Singe Frame, and Play Once'. But am unable to locate them in properties pane of symbols in Animate CC 2020. Can someone please help?

for some reason when i draw with the brush tool, weird grey lines appear inside of the drawing, but once i let go it just looks normal, is there any fix for this? i'll show a video of it

Hello dear Animators and Creators, i am new to Animate and i need some help..I wathed many Tutorials, worked more than 45 Hours (last 4 days) to get just one simple animation done but i am having issues, and i guess i am missing something..As example, i have a characters head, and i want to attach hair strains to it wich move with the head.The Bone tool i can't use as it won't let me edit the PNG's with the Warp Tool.So, how can i attach more than two PNG's with hair strains onto a PNG Head, to make sure they move with the head when i move the head, and also to make sure to move the strains to give them a "physics" animation.Regards,Samantha.

hello, I have problems with the sound when exporting the video, after exporting the sound is somehow deafened, although everything is fine with the sound in the file, even put it on the "stream", it still did not help

how can i solve this redundant object when I move to other scene

I have created a bone tool and the face has symbols with facial features like eyes and lips etc. Its all good. However, when i go into symbol timeline,its not matching with the timeline. I tried all the possible things but it doesnt work. I realised if i make poses without copying, it has no problem but if i copy and paste any pose, it makes that point as loop. and the symbol timeline resets there. I even did join armature so maybe keyframes makes it reset but no, only copying and pasting does this. Anyone can help me as im burning out. I cant start to project Thanks in advance 

Hello, So I'm animating something, and my first export test went fine. But as i continued to work on my animation, i got to about 700 keyframes and after this, i go to export to see how well it runs. And when I look at the video, i notice line work is missing from certain parts, keyframes say in the 100-300 section appear in various places in the video, I'm able to see line work through layers that are above them, some layers just aren't appearing and are seemingly underneath layers that they are definitely above, and nothing is right at all. Everything runs fine in my timeline but it's th export that's not right. I've been exporting as video/media as that's what I want, but I'm unsure if I pressed something or if I'm exporting incorrectly. Please help me out here. You can see what I mean by the video I'm attaching.

The Bone tool works on other images that I draw.But if I convert the image or fills into a symbol THE BONE TOOL NO LONGER WORKS.It doesn't matter what KIND of symbol either. The Bone Tool doesn't work on ANY symbol.What gives?My computer and program are all up to date.

How do I transfer the animation inside of the double-clicked layer to my main stage?

Hi folks, Im new to Animate and not a coder and trying to make an HTML5 Ad. I have a Click Button over the whole page of the Ad, but also have a disclaimer link button underneath that I need people to be able to click on without the Click Button above it activating first. Would someone be able to help me on how this is done. Im guessing I need some code somewhere to stop the Click button when hovering over or clicking the disclaimer link but have no idea how to do that. Any help would be much appreciated. Cheers Gia

How to extend the lip sync past the old ending audio?

When i press the three dots on the side i cant drag and drop all of them. Some of them even have some sort of warning symbol? I dont get it and just want to use my tools.

How can i make a 2d animation that will interact with a specific symbol/object like it were jello? I saw TPOT 1 and.. I'm wondering how they did it. See image for what i mean.

How to use bone tool for graphic symbols that contain layers within it? For example, when we apply bone tool for the lip of a character (i.e  lip symbol that contains lip sync poses within it ). when the character move from one position to another. then the layers which is inside the symbol  is not moving along with the character. It remains in the character's initial position. Can anyone know how to solve this type of problem?
