Animate

I'm unable to install Animate on my 2017 Macbook pro. I've tried repairing the CC app, restarting, but nothing. Super frustrating! I just tried installing other apps and they worked fine. Hello, I recently exported a animation (in H.264 with Media Encoder). I wanted to see the FLA again, and some frames on a graffic just disappered.

Hey there! Things are as so: I have worked for hours on a project – and coming back a few days after, when I open the project, all the previously gained progress is not on the project ... despite clearly recalling "auto-recovery" automatically saving project progress during that work period. So these automatically saved versions should be somewhere, right? But inspite searching everywhere, I can't find the latest project version.  Could somebody help me? I'd be so grateful to recover all that hard work... Thanks in advance!

In Adobe flash Stroke _______ determines the width of the Stroke 

I was once doing animation when I misclicked and touched the timeline than the cursor dragged in to the bottom which then I got it back up but my stage wasnt still. Even though i tried my best to look at the stage I cant figure out how to make the stage still, locked and not by scrolling down becuase everytime I do that It messed up my animations. Someone pls help!

Hi everybody, I created an Animation inside Adobe Animate but its gets ruined after being exported to video format. When being played inside of Animate, the animation works perfectly, but when I click the "test movie" button, the footage seems to be messed up. After exporting, the footage is messed up just like it appears when tested. This is only happening with this one file I am doing. The green hand and gear piece seem to be the objects that are glitching after being tested/exported. I am trying to add mutilple symbols to the frame picker it only shows me the one I clicked and not the rest I made, can someone PLEASE HELP?The one with the numbers is my screen and the other one is the tutorial that im trying to follow.

Hello how are you? I wish they would release a version of Adobe Animate for Android. I always wanted to use it on Android and it's very difficult on a computer. Also, I don't install anything on my computer simply because it might catch a virus or Trojan.

I really want to pay once for Adobe Animate and not a subscription plan 😭😢😥🥺

Every time I try and export something it downloads my files as 0 bytes and I can't add them to the video editor I use. 

I closed Adobe Animate and accidententally pressed "No" when It asked me if I wanted to save. Is there any Possible way I can recover that file.

Hi All, Some computers on the site that I work at are getting a strange error, whenever anyone tries to export an animation as anything other than a Quicktime file they are met with the message 'Install the latest version of Adobe Media Encoder and restart animate to export using this preset'. We have attempted to update the media encoder to the latest version but this seems to have had no effect. We are using Animate 2021 due to our machines not being powerful enough to run a newer version and this was working fine for a while, however now it would seem we can only export files as .MOV and we are also getting an issue whereby if we uninstall animate 2021 and attempt to reinstall it, it will no longer install - I am half wondering as to whether this is just due to the underwhelming power of our machines but all the other Creative Cloud apps appear to be working fine, with no issues whatsoever and likewise we are still able to uninstall and reinstall the CC app. Any

Hi guys, need some help!So I created the background and character in Illustrator, and imported the file using all layers and everything came through beautifully except one small element which is kind of key. I check my Illustrator file, and it's clearly there, also isn't locked or hidden, so I have no clue why it won't come through? Help? You can see the glass in the Illustrator file, and only parts of it in the Animate file. Suggestions?

Hello! My Animate version 22.0.05 opens up but gets stuck during the loading process in the little white box with the bouncing ball in the corner. When I try clicking on anything like File or event expand or minimise or close, it doesn't let me and just does the error "ding" sound. However I do now see an error window anywhere.I trying restarting. I tried uninstalling. What else can I try?This started after my PC did an update last night. Please advice

Hi!What is the best way to deal with overlapping lineart for limbs in adobe animate? I have 2 symbols for a fore-arm and higher part of the arm but when they are overlapping, I want the fore-arm symbol's lineart to not be visible inside the higher arm. If it makes a difference, I am also using the EDAP plugin. Thanks! 

Hi, I'm a long time Flash user but haven't used it in about 5 years. I've come back to it now and so have just downloaded the latest Adobe Animate CC 2020 trial and am playing around with it. I'm loving a lot of the new features like the camera and layer depth and parenting.  BUT What's going on with stroke widths? It's a bit hard to explain so I've recorded a video: https://www.loom.com/share/526c4fc551d143bd8087bfac5d703c20 If the stroke scale is set to 'Normal', the symbol behaves, for the most part, as expected. When you zoom on the stage or camera, or scale the clip proportionally, the strokes scale proportionatlely. However, if I just want to scale an arm symbol along one axis, for example, the whole stroke scales. Doing some digging, I can see that I could set the scaling to horizontal. But then I would never be able to stretch the arm in the vertical axis without the artowk stroke width increasing. You can see the problem because it means that

Hello I hope everyone is doing fantastic 🙂 Ok so, about 2 weeks ago I switched from Adobe Flash CS6 to Adobe Animate 2024 and I have noticed a very small, yet significant inconsistency. In CS6, whenever you drew something with Object Drawing Mode on, it showed you a little preview of what the eventual object looked like in a light-blue box. However, when I do the same process in Animate, the light-blue box does not appear. This is annoying because I cannot differentiate whether I am drawing with Object Mode on, and for instance when I draw a character I am happy with, I end up realizing he is not seperated into objects, so I have to re-draw him. Is there a setting to turn on this preview or something? Thank you for any help 🙂

to whom this may concern,when i try to publish my flash file to a windows projector file (exe), it doesnt show up in the folder that I have it set to save to. below are images of the process i go through to publish it, and it still doesnt show up, even when i directly set the folder. i have tried restarting my computer and flash. do any of you know how i can fix this? please help!

Even though my project is 1920 x 1080, when I export it to Video/Media, the resulting AVI doesn't fully fill that width.  Instead, there are black margins on either side of the video.  Is this an encode setting?

Hello team. I’m a professor at a medical school. Starting this fall, our school is going to employ two new programs to deliver our handouts, ScholarRx and Canvas (not to be confused with the canvas function of Animate). I would like to get my Animate HTML files to play within one of these programs. I could also use Word documents or PowerPoints. I have heard that this can be done by converting the HTMLs into something called SCORM files. Does anyone know if this is possible with the HTMLs, and if so can you direct me to online instructions for doing so? If this isn’t possible with the HTMLs, can anyone suggest another method? ok the next question i have is what happened to my keyframes automaticly made everytime I move a tween it use to automaticly make me a keyframe without me clicking insert keyframe
