If you're experiencing a problem with Premiere Pro, we want to hear from you! We'd also like to know if you've found errors or omissions in our documentation.

The most critical information in a problem report is how to reproduce the issue. It is challenging for us to address a problem we cannot replicate. Please provide detailed steps for us to follow to observe the problem you're encountering.

Use the template below to provide us with information:

  • Issue– A short description of the problem.

  • Steps to reproduce – A numbered list of the exact steps needed to reproduce the problem.

  • Expected result – What should happen after completing the last step.

  • Actual result – What actually occurred after the previous step

  • Screen recording – If you think it might be helpful, include a recording of your screen, showing the issue.

  • Operating system – Specify Windows or macOS, along with the version

  • GPU driver version (Windows only) – If you're on Windows, please let us know what version of the video card (GPU) driver you are using.

  • Video format – If your issue is related to video playback or export, please let us know what format the video is in. Ideally, share with us a sample video.

  • Comparative information helps us understand more about when the issue occurs:

  • Does it affect all projects or only some projects?

  • Does it affect new projects?

  • When did the problem begin?

Provide us with the information above by going to the Bugs section of this forum and clicking on "Post to Community." Ensure the Bug conversation type is selected.

Why do problem reports have upvotes?

We use the upvote feature to understand how many users are affected by a specific problem. Please upvote a problem only if you have experienced it yourself to ensure the upvote count accurately reflects the community's experiences.

Thank you for taking the time to report a problem – your input is invaluable to us!

Hi, since I updated this morning, I can’t do any kind of customised blurring - it just blurs the whole thing. There is no elipse, rectangle of bezier option with Gaussian blur in the effects panel any more.

I've tried to attach a photo but I don’t know if it’s worked.

To reproduce, drag Gaussian blur onto a clip and go to that section in the efects panel. No masking options appear there, just a box to click with ‘surprise me’ written on it. If you click that it just all gets blurrier, but you still can’t mask anything. The whole lot is blurred.

    Thanks.

With all these AI features added, why is there still no quick way to select a bunch or scattered clips in sequence tracks (that are in correct timed position) to merge them all into single track or desired track. Ideal use would be when you have a 2hr event with a lot of recorded files that aren’t recorded start to finish of event  but the create multi cam feature scatters those files all into 20-30 tracks and is such a cumbersome mess to drag them all manually onto single correct camera number track.

I've been using the 'alt' key (or option key on Mac) and then pressing the down or up arrow key on keyboard to move the selected clip up or down to the next layer for each press of the arrow key.

There needs to be a away to select all the clips from that camera and auto merge onto desired track!

Edit in the night play in the day.

Have been using Premiere Pro 2025, the app updated itself to the latest version (26) and is saying all my clips (hundreds) are offiline. When I try to relink them it says there is an issue with the audio channels type. Its ridiculous because I've been working on this project for months and have never had this issue. I re dowloaded the older version of PP and now thats doing the same thing...  not sure if this is a bug or somethng Ive done

    Issue

Premiere Pro 26.0 fails to transcribe audible dialogue and displays “No dialogue found” when using MP4 files downloaded from YouTube via a third-party downloader. Audio plays normally, is clearly audible, and is properly assigned as Dialogue.

The issue affects all projects, including newly created projects.

    Steps to Reproduce

    1. Open Adobe Premiere Pro 26.0.

    2. Create a new project.

    3. Import an MP4 video downloaded from YouTube using a third-party downloader.

    4. Drag the clip into a sequence.

    5. Confirm:

      • Audio is clearly audible during playback

      • Waveforms are visible

      • Audio meters are active

      • Audio is not muted

    6. Assign the clip in Essential Sound → Dialogue.

    7. Open Text → Transcript panel.

    8. Click Transcribe Sequence.

    Expected Result

Premiere Pro should detect spoken dialogue and generate a transcript.

    Actual Result

    The Transcript panel displays:

“No dialogue found. To enable transcription services, your audio must contain unmuted verbal dialogue.”

    This occurs even though:

    • Dialogue is clearly audible

    • Audio meters are moving

    • Waveforms are visible

    • Clip is properly tagged as Dialogue

    • Enhance Speech functions normally

    • Adobe Premiere Pro Version

      26.0

      Operating System

      Windows 11 (64-bit)

      GPU Driver Version (Windows Only)

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Laptop GPU
      Driver Version: 32.0.15.9174

      Video Format

    • Container: MP4

    • Video Codec: H.264

    • Comparative Information

    • ✅ Affects all projects

    • ✅ Affects new projects

    • ✅ Occurs consistently with similar downloaded MP4 files

    • ❌ Does not resolve after restarting Premiere or clearing transcript

    • ✅ Transcription works after converting audio to mono or rendering/replacing as WAV

    •
    • Audio Codec: AAC (stereo)

    • Source: YouTube (downloaded via third-party downloader)

    • Resolution: 1080p

    • Frame Rate: 30 fps

Subject: Bug Report — Custom Effect Presets Not Appearing in Effects Panel (Premiere Pro 26.00)

Hello Adobe Support / Premiere Pro Product Team,

I would like to report a bug in Adobe Premiere Pro version **26.00** related to saving and displaying custom effect presets.

    **Issue Summary**

When I save a custom effect preset (via Effect Controls → right-click → “Save Preset”), Premiere Pro successfully generates the preset file (e.g., “Effect Presets and Custom Items.prfpset”), but the preset **does not appear in the Effects panel** under “Presets.”

In some cases, the folder appears briefly but disappears when the Effects panel is closed and reopened. The preset never stays visible even after restarting the application.

    **Steps to Reproduce**

    1. Open Adobe Premiere Pro 26.00.

    2. Apply motion/keyframe adjustments to a clip.

    3. Open **Effect Controls**.

    4. Right-click the effect group (e.g., Motion / Transform) and select **Save Preset…**.

    5. Name the preset and click OK.

    6. Open the **Effects** panel — the preset does not appear under *Presets*.

    7. Close and reopen the Effects panel — the *Presets* folder disappears.

    **Expected Result**

Saved custom presets should remain visible in the Effects panel under *Presets* and be reusable in other projects.

    **Actual Result**

The preset does not show up and is not accessible via the UI even though the `.prfpset` file is created on disk.

    **Additional Details**

    – This issue persists after restarting Premiere Pro.

    – Environment preferences reset and media cache clearing have been attempted.

    – The problem occurs in both new and existing projects.

    – The file *Effect Presets and Custom Items.prfpset* is created but not reflected in the UI.

    **System / Software Info**

    Premiere Pro Version: 26.00

    OS: Windows 11 Pro 25H2

    Computer:

    Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-14700F (2.10 GHz)

    64GB(32GB×2)

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER 16GB GDDR6X

Please investigate this as a bug in the preset system for version 26.00. Thank you

Issue - Unstable playback of Canon c50 Raw in Premiere 26. Creates glitches, both colored squares like this and blackout frames. Other Canon camera’s Raw play well.

Steps to Reproduce - All you need to do is import it. Happens in source and program monitor. rendering does not help.

Expected Result - It plays as normal.

Actual Result - See attached image.

    Premiere Version - 2026

    OS - Sequoia 15.6.1

Video Format: Happens in program and on export

Happens in all projects. FWIW, these files play nicely in Resolve. Hoping there is an update to CC soon to fix this issue!

Why? You never fix them. Honestly, I've used countless media production apps over the last 20 years and I have NEVER, EVER encountered such inconsistency and sloppiness as I have in the last 2-3 years of creative cloud. It's ridiculous. You're not getting the basics right and you want to introduce a load of ai tools?! It's literally insane

Hello! The latest version is PP , 26 , the one that added new masks.
    System - Windows 11

The problem is that playback mode is enabled on the second monitor, but it disappears every two minutes, then you need to go back to settings and turn it off and on again. But as I said, anyway, the playback turns off again after a couple of minutes. Please solve the problem! There was no such thing in the previous version.

Also, if you can write your wishes here, I would like the masks for each individual effect to be returned to the effects management panel. It's very inconvenient to draw a mask and then drag it every time to match the effect you need.

Sorry for my English, it's a translator.

    Thanks!
