Welcome to the new Adobe community

Hi everyone. The new Adobe Community experience is officially live! You’re now looking at a reimagined space designed to make it easier to connect, share feedback, and see how your ideas help shape Adobe products.

What’s new

A clearer way to share ideas and feedback

Feature requests and bug reports now have dedicated spaces, clearer status indicators, and voting—so it’s easier to see what’s gaining traction and what’s already in progress.

Better visibility into what’s happening

You can now track the status of feature requests and bugs as they move from idea → in development → released. When something you’ve voted on changes status, you’ll be notified.

Cleaner navigation, less noise

Discussions, announcements, and product feedback each have their own place—making it easier to find answers, discover what’s new, and focus on what matters most to you.

Richer posts and conversations

Create posts with images, videos, code blocks, and file attachments to share context, examples, and workflows more easily.

Stronger connections with Adobe teams and peers

Your community activity now connects to your Adobe ID, helping us better understand feedback and engage more meaningfully with the people using our products every day.

Your content is still here

All posts, replies, solutions, feature requests, and bug reports created on or before November 16 are already available. Content created between November 17 and launch day will be added soon—no data will be lost, and you won’t need to recreate anything.

Jump in

Explore your product communities, upvote ideas you care about, ask questions, and share what you’d like to see next. This community works best when your voice is part of the conversation.

Thank you for helping make Adobe Community what it is. We’re excited to keep building it with you.

    Thanks for the update! The new community experience looks like a great improvement. Having clearer spaces for feature requests and bug reports, along with status tracking and voting, should make it much easier to follow product updates and contribute feedback. The richer post options and cleaner navigation are also very welcome. Looking forward to exploring the new setup and participating in more discussions.

    @UON VISUALS Where is my thread I made in November? It lists a critical bug in After Effects → Media Encoder ...

    As described in the top post of this thread, “Content created between November 17 and launch day [Jan 27] will be added soon—no data will be lost, and you won’t need to recreate anything.”

    Adobe hasn’t posted here what “soon” is, but a Community Exported suggested end of March.

    Hey Adobe! Where is my thread I made in November? It lists a critical bug in After Effects → Media Encoder and I even made a workaround for anyone else suffering with the issue!
    Broken link to old thread:

     https://community.adobe.com/t5/after-effects-bugs/color-management-still-completely-broken-sending-ae-project-to-media-encoder-ae-25-5-and-up/idc-p/15676550#M18464

    Can you please find it and migrate it to this new forum? THANKS

    Hey Adobe! Where is my thread I made in November?

    About two months of posts made prior to the introduction of the new forums were not transferred to the new forum software yet. They will be at some point.

    The new forum website does not allow more than one “correct” answer

    =============

    @BKBK  and @mrspieri,

    That’s correct. But multiple replies can be HIGHTLIGHTED which elevates their importance in the thread.

    Hope that helps.

    Hello, the new forum is way more fluid and responsive than before.
    However, when scrolling down there’s the “Show more” button showing up. Thats ok, but if I click into a topic to read and then use the “back” button of the browser I’m at the top again. And that’s bad. I have to scroll down again, click on “Show more” sroll again and so on to find where I actually was.
    Makes me not wanting to scroll any further and only read the newest topics...

    Thanks @AKS666 - We will log this with the team. Agree that the behavior is not ideal.

    Even having more “points” or whatever the metric is called than about anyone else on any Adobe forum, I still can’t simply copy/paste links to helpful docs and such. I have to paste text, then select it, click the link, and type the link.

    When I’m trying to post say three docs that fully illustrate something for a user, well ... Adobe chose to make that so ridiculous that I don’t. I might do it for one doc, but I’m not taking my own time to make three links.

    So in that respect, Adobe “chose” that I and others do actually less help to it’s clients that we did before. And it ticks me off and frustrates me. But hey, I live in Realville.

    That was the choice Adobe corporate made.

    The new forum is a nightmare. I cannot make any new posts and have to go through this complicated procedure just to post a question. Adobe is continuously making life for us difficult.

    I cannot make any new posts

    =========

    @Red Point,

    Click on Questions tab.

    Click Create New Post button.

    Type a question.

    Scroll down & click on None of these answer your question.

    Click Continue to proceed.

    If you still need help, try using another web device that doesn’t have script blockers.

    Hope that helps.

    There are no resize handles on the corners of inserted images, like most decent forums provide. So small screenshots get blown up and waste space:

    The Gainsight platform hosting these forums uses the commercial feature-rich CKEditor, which provides resize handles. So it’s a trivial configuration change to enable them.  Here’s an example from CKEditor’s demo:

    @dianer_macperson @dianer_macperson it says to use the report only for abusive language and such. I don't want to be flagged. Is there a way I can delete it myself?  we used to be able to do that.

    @Joshua311824182y19,

    Are you sure it was not posted after Nov 17?

    Are you logged in to the forums under the same email you used before? (Don’t tell us what it was.)

    If was after Nov 17, post it again in the same forum. Hopefully the same expert may answer again.

    First I was a Legend, then a Braniac, now a Genius:

    Great, people will think I’m a pimply faced, over-hyped tech weenie in an Apple Store.

    How about a more sober title that actually communicates what we do?  Here are nine possibilities:

    Pick an adjective: Senior, Experienced, Trusted

    Pick a noun: Contributor, Guide, Advisor

    Senior Contributor

    Senior Guide

    Senior Advisor

    Experienced Contributor

    Experienced Guide

    Experienced Advisor

    Trusted Contributor

    Trusted Guide

    Trusted Advisor

    I like your suggestions for better tags ❤️, but 100% disagree with your assessment of those who work in the Genius Bar at Apple. It does not describe these wonderful people at all.

    That’s fair. I was thinking of the Apple marketing image created by “Genius” rather than the actual people.  “Genius Bar” has always rubbed me raw -- people who are knowledgeable about the bugs and foibles of computers are not geniuses, and it shouldn’t take a true genius to make a computer work.  But I fully understand how “genius” is used in common discourse to refer to tech wonks like myself.
