The new Bridge version 13.0.0.562 has a bright Title bar theme. It distracts the user, it's annoying. Can you set theme as OS settings? Thanks
Bridge used to have the function of displaying the total size (MB) for multiple selected files. Has been gone for many years. When emailing multiple files, it it vital to know the size of 3, 4 or more total files. Why was it removed? Now it only says . Damn. Bridge is going backwards in its usefulness.
I’ve always noticed the slow thumbnail generation speed, but right now I compared it to Blender’s default EXR thumbnail generation speed. Of course, you guys are creating higher-quality thumbnails and storing them on disk for me, but Blender takes seconds compared to minutes—a lot of minutes for 200 EXR files at 50 MB each.
The number of Arm and Snapdragon Windows PCs is increasing. Please make Bridge compatible as soon as possible. Many users are having trouble.
With the support of SBSAR , it should also be useful to support 3D files format like glTF, glb, or USD as well as ASD ...Either for Thumbnail generation but also for preview if possible. It should be useful too to extract some metadata like shader, appearance or scene info in metadata panel...
Adobe Bridge should include an automatic RAW & JPEG sorting feature, allowing users to group, separate, or filter files with the same name but different formats. A dedicated toggle should enable users to view RAW+JPEG as a single entry or split them into separate folders automatically. This would streamline workflow for photographers, reducing manual file management and improving efficiency.
It is absurdly easy to fowl up a Manual Sort order. There should be a warning that attempting to drag one image in the grid view will replace the existing manual sort order. More important there should be a way to backup the existing sort order and a way to restore a prior Manual sort order. This should be fairly straightforward by using and modifying the data in the folder UserSorts.
Would like to see thumbnails from standart CAD / CAM files like, STL, OBJ, 3MF and so - and even beter also with files from Fusion, Blender, Autocad and.......
I would love to see the lasso tool from photoshop in bridge. It would make it a million times easier to select objects.
When comparing 2, 3 or 4 similar images in Review Mode with the loupe, an option to sync the loupe on every image on the exact same spot with one click would be very helpful.
I’ve noticed a recurring issue when applying ratings to files in Adobe Bridge. Here are the details:Issue: When I apply a rating to a file, the screen "jumps" down by one file instead of staying in place. When it occurs: This only happens when I have scrolled to the bottom of the list of files.Expected behavior: The screen should remain stable, allowing me to continue working on the current view without the need to scroll back up.This behavior disrupts the workflow, especially when rating files at the end of a large list. I’d appreciate it if this could be looked into for a fix.Thank you for your attention to this matter
Bridge and ACR were working stable for me in 2024, now with version 2025, I experience very often - approx. 1 in 50 files crashes and lost edits. After I finish editing/masking in Camera Raw for extensive time, like creating around 10 masks (20 minutes work) - after clicking DONE - no edits are saved in sidecar .xmp file,- sometimes the file even disappear from working folder, and I do not find them at all, - or the file is moved to trash. At the same time I am experiencing freezing/crashes in ACR, which I have not have for at least 2 years.Extremely frustrating.Adobe user since the beginning of times.Apple MacBook M1 Max 16", 32 GB RAM, 2 TB SSD, 24 GPUMacOS Seqoia 15.2Bridge 15.0.1.412ACR 17.1.0.2100
Since the dawn of Generative AI, there are almost daily upgrades and updates of 'regular' applications and public betas. And because of unfortunate cases of some crucial bugs, users (like me) prefer to retain or even re-install older versions. This results in a myriad of file type associations, both on the system level as in Adobe Bridge.Almost tens or even hundreds times a day, I'm confronted with the need to check the file type association of a certain file before double-clicking it. The system has its default settings, and some updates don't touch that, but other updates or upgrades do. Next to that, Bridge has its own approach. And on top of that, with certain newer filetypes (like WebP) an application like Photoshop even doesn't show up yet in the system's list of available applications to open it...I lost track of any logic in the current or changing status of these settings, due to installing a new, a public beta, or even an older version of any application. Simply opening a fil
When viewing photos in full screen, zooming to 1:1 occurs as an animation. This extends the time to determine whether the photo is sharp. Or if there was an option to enlarge only the indicated part of the photo as a pop-up window next to the mouse cursor.
After assigning a color label to a photo in full view, it would be nice if there was an option to enable a border around the screen, not just in the lower right corner. Looking globally at the photo and the border, it would be clear what label the photo has. The visibility of the border could be activated in the options.
I can rotate photos using the ↺ ↻ buttons but not videos. It would be a good time saver if it was possible to rotate videos the same way using these buttons.
I am using BRIDGE 14.1.4.307 version. In the tool "EDIT/FIND/Filename/ends with" system interprets file extension as part of the name of file, so if you want to find what "jpg" files have a name ending with the word "house" you have to write "house.jpg". I think that the file extension should not be considered as part of the file name. Thanks.
When having to deal with hundreds if not thousands of images when downloading from your camera memory card you need something quick and auto advance to the next image would be ideal in Bridge instead of using the right arrow each time to move on each and every time
I wish the folder view options like "Show Items from Subfolder" and "Show Folders" could be made permanent. They reset every time I open a new folder. I want to un-check the show folders because I already have folders on the left sidebar. I need to show all items in the folder even if they are in a subfolder. Not everyone will need this setting, but the people that need this will usually want it for all folders, not just for the current folder. In addition to that most important issue (persisting the folder view options), Would be very useful to show only specific types of files in the current view, to see only photos (which I might edit in Photoshop) or videos (which I might edit in other Adobe programs) or other Adobe related media. Instead, I see a lot of random system files and documents which I do not care to edit in Adobe programs. They only get in the way, prevent me from seeing all my images and videos and other media. I only want to see in Bridge files that I might want to edi
Hitting Backspace when a photo or multiple photos are selected in a Collection should result in the selected photos to be removed from the collection NOT moved to trash/bin.
Bonjour,Pourquoi ne voit-on pas le "dossier Téléchargement" de mon PC sous Windows dans Bridge ?Merci ...
Newer fields from the IPTC standard or predefined values are missing under copyright law. The Digital Source Type must be revised in the vocabulary. The specification ‘Created with software’ is now inadequate in view of artificial intelligence. The field for opting out of text and data mining is also missing.
Replace colors of the color labels with individual color palette
Since Adobe Bridge 2022, version 12, a blue line has appeared around active panels and thumbnails in versions 13, 14, and now 15. Please consider adding an option to turn off this feature or change the color. It is very distracting when reviewing images for photo editing.
It seems like every time I get a brand new version of Bridge, the scrolling feature becomes slow and exhausting. I was previously able to reach the bottom of my photos in just a few scrolls of the mouse wheel. Now when I scroll, it takes FOREVER to reach the bottom. The page doesn't even jump a half step when scrolling when it used to jump a full step. I now have to drag the side bar to reach the bottom. This is not user friendly at all. Please please please return it to the fast, smooth scrolling we had before the update!!!
