When trying to sort file lists by name, I noticed that Chinese characters are not sorted according to the system's default Pinyin (phonetic notation) first-letter sorting mechanism. It seems to be in a disordered state and I find it hard to understand the underlying sorting logic.For consistency and ease of use, I would highly appreciate if the file name sorting scheme in Adobe Bridge could adhere to the system's default sorting method, specifically, sorting by the first letter of Pinyin.

There is a great performance drop when switching between Content Panel Layouts, if Vertical is selected, its really really slow to scroll or navigate through the files. If the layout its switched to horizontal, then the performance is back to normal (really snappy). This is also dependent of number of files. if they are around 100, no issue , bot layouts work fine. currently Im in a folder with around 20k photos. This bug was not present in version 12.x

Bridge cannot associate MP4 files with the new Windows media player, I've been looking for a thousand ways to achieve it but none with success. Adobe must coordinate with Microsoft to fix this issue.

Currently the Slideshow feature displays the Filename at the bottom of the screen. My file names are not at all meaningful to my audience so I would like to display the IPTC Core "Description" field instead. Ideally you would give users the ability to choose which metadata fields to display in a slideshow.

I'm using Bridge to add metadata to scanned photos. But the Edit Capture Time does not have time zone selection.Without it Bridge defaults to user's computer operating system's time zone. This then appears in the xmp, for example as 1971-07-01T00:00+10:00. The problem is that is the wrong time zone for my scanned photos. In this instance I want +01:00, not +10:00.First issue is Bridge doesn't show the offset in the Date Time Original metadata field, so the user doesn't realise there's a problem.Then when I import the files with this incorrect time zone from Bridge into Apple Photos it sorts the date/time incorrectly. (Also same issue in Google Photos.)Apple Photos has time zone support for changing date & time, but I'd prefer to use Bridge to enter metadata. There is nothing displayed within the filter options to show what filters are currently selected. eg. in Lightroom when "2 stars or above" is selected, this is displayed on screen within the filter bar to show you this.Can we have something similar in Bridge please to show how the current photographs are being filtered.

I can't believe there is no option for adding "Keywords" to file icons in Bridge without changing the Modification Date. Really wrecks my workflow.

Working remotely and knowing our schedules are so busy, another director and I have to make selects during our own time out of, literally, thousands of photos. It'd be nice where he can go in, during his own time, star some in his own time, while I do mine.

It is very annoying having to start from scratch when starting a new tab, or having to copy and paste the original file path to the new tab. No matter what folder you designate, it's never convenient in most cases.

Please make everything like Photo Mechanic. Photo Mechanic bug is only can't sync metadata properly with Adobe Lightroom, everything else is perfect. Zoom feature, shortcut, etc is more user friendly than Bridge.

The old ACR had icons instead of names on the tabs. I have dyslexia and the new layout as well as the text only names for tabs is very hard for me to scan and I click in and out of the wrong tabs constantly. I can scan images better so please reinstate icons or graphics for the funstions of the tabs so they can be better accessible for those who dont scan text well

It would be nice to have the AEP-Files in the dropdown-list for the filter of file formats. Or even the possibility to search the file appendix by letters (f.e. ".aep")

I would like you to be able to display the DNG metadata in order to check whether the file is eligible for denoise, which is newly added to Lightroom and Camera RAW.Currently, it can only be displayed in Lightroom Classic.

I would like to add keywords to folder instead of only files. This way, I would be ablo to tag projects with keywords. This would allow to search all the folders containing, for example, architecture photography or portrait photography.

When we transform words in Japanese from Hiragana to Kanji or Katakana, typing tab allows it in Finder, and general apps like Notepad. But when we do the same operation in Bridge while renaming folders, typing tab will discard folder renaming and focus shifts to next folder under the folder which you were working on renaming. This experience is stressful and want it to be improved.

It'd be great to be able to add custom shortcuts as is available in all other Adobe apps.

Bridge 13.03.693It is recommended to have "Compact Cache On Idle" checked, but when doing so one is constantly bombarded with the blue pop up, asking if you want to do so.Wouldn't it make more sense not to be bothered by something that supposed to take care of something automatically anyways?Can this pop up please be eliminated ... it is not necessary and has no purpose.... wasn't there before either.I'm writing this after a previous post and solving the problem regarding the blue pop up ... by unchecking "Compact Cache On Idle" ... to not being bothered with the annoying pop up ... only by NOT following the recommendation. As culling takes a lot of time for wedding photographers: I would love to have a automatic "face view" in Adobe Bridge, to cull faster at group photos. There is a lot of culling software on the market, but I would prefer to have everything in my beloved Bridge 🙂Thanks!

Would like a zoom (enlargement) in the library preview. I also find navigating between different 'Personal Libraries' with different content a bit cumbersome. First before -> before -> before, then everything back and forward in the next folder and so on.At the top of the bar (with the back arrow at the library name) there would be enough room to the right for more open, intuitive navigation.
