I work with several Bridge windows open, so it would be helpful if the positions of all open windows was saved when quitting the app. As things stand, only the “primary” window is restored on relaunching Bridge, which means I have to set up my workspace each time. Additionally, it would be useful to have window positions saved in Workspaces.

In the 'slideshow option' in Adobe Bridge it would be nice to have an option for change color of the background, regardless of the 'image backdrop' color chosen in the appearance option.
Bridge>Preferences>Thumnails>Performance and File Handling>Do Not Process Files Larger Than ...Could a checkbox be added to disable this feature so that when unchecked, all files are processed regardless of size?Users sometimes ask why thumbnails no not show for certain files and the reason is often because they have too low a value set here.Users for whom storage space is not an issue would welcome the option to disable this.
Current version 14.1.0.257runs well please take note and do not break itthis is how it should run. also i did a week ago use the adobe removal tool and reinstall all adobe apps. but just yesterday with the update its running great and i wish there was a way to say lock it down and do not touch.
After checking show items in subfolders and within a list view, could we add a “Folder 0” “Folder 1” column to be able to quickly identify folders containing images, at the first level, and the level above. Best Example is inDesign’s way of doing this in the links panel :https://helpx.adobe.com/indesign/using/graphics-links.html#work_with_links_panel_columnsI’m using this because file naming at the folder level should be enough for me.Client A > front.jpg, back.jpg Client B > front.jpg, back.jpg…I could then visually sort/filter items and quickly identify more than one file at a time.(Sort of complement to https://adobebridge.uservoice.com/forums/905323-feature-request/suggestions/46572949-sort-by-path )
instead of habing to use the numbers or ctrl/alt to label approvals, I would much rather be able to select the key I use. Personally I would like to use letters instead of numers. For example: F - for first, S - second, T - third. But the ability to choose which keys we use to label would be awesome!
When using File Info, it would be really useful to move forward or backwards to the File Info panel of the next image, without having to close the File Info Panel, then re-open it again
I tend to shoot multiple exposures/bracketing, so I can decide later which is the best candidate to post process. When I am doing first pass on batch of new pictures via Full Screen Preview, it would help to have a histogram of the picture, just like other values (ISO, Tv, Av) - requested in another suggestions here already. Thank you.
Keywords list should be a cloud based feature in Bridge. I use my Bridge on my desktop at home for cataloguing images by adding Keywords. I use my laptop when out and about for the same purpose, but regularly add Keywords to one list which don't get added to the keywords list on another computer meaning the lists get out of sync and would also save more time by not having to go through Keywords and making them substantive each time.
I want to delete some files. In Bridge 14.0.2 I can only reject a file or move it to the recycle bin. Add an optional way to delete files like Ctrl-Shift-Delete or Shift-Click on Delete in the context menu.
I am using the Full Screen Preview to cull my pictures. It would be good to have the file name, but more importantly if I have the ability to rate, delete and reject from this screen it would significantly speed the initial cull prior to editing and the final cull after.
"expand subfolders when the pointer hovers and waits over a folder that contains them, while doing drag, ready to do drop."While the user is working within a folder, he may have made selections ; at the time of dragging the selected contents to a folder at which to move them , it may not be visible because it is subfolder and in "non-expanded" mode. The most normal thing is that while the pointer ( with the "transparent" status of the contents being moved ) is ABOVE the folder that needs to expand to show the subfolders, in this precise condition, the expansion is automatic and allows the files to be moved to the finally visible subfolder.Otherwise, other workarounds or other systems are needed. The more "manual and immediate" one is, or appears to be, impossible.
When importing from camera, there is an option to generate a folder with the date e.g. 020224. This is fine but this condensed format is quite hard to read so if I could set it to 02-02-24 or with spaces it would make folder management a lot easier.I am aware I can (and do) custom name it but it would be logical to have an option where it automatically includes the dashes in the generated folder name, especially when users may be importing a lot at once.
Currently we can select the Adobe RGB profile when exporting a TIFF from a raw file but not a JPEG. This seems like an odd omission from Bridge.
Previously, in Bridge, you could right-click to cut and paste changes to an image filename. This was helpful for keeping images with changes separate from others, such as "processed," etc. This was lost with a recent update and now requires using "ctrl-c" and "ctrl-v" which is cumbersome and a dated throwback.
Synchronize Bridge: workspaces and template metadata.Synchronise general user data between my computers. Workspaces and mainly template metadata, keyword list.
I truly love to use labels and ratings WITHOUT the command key, it's easier and more intuitive to manage ratings with one hand... that option was available in past Bridge versions, so why do you take it away?
Open new content tab "Same as current tab" (or similar) missing in Properties. So if I click + on this particular tab, I want to have it "duplicated" instead of opening a new computer/home/desktop or pictures folder.
When you right click on a new image and select File Info you can click on Template folder which brings up all your saved templates (showing keywords , titles, etc). You can then select a file number to copy this info to the new file which can save a lot of time and effort. However, to speed up this process further, the list of file numbers/templates needs to be reversed showing the newest file template at the top of the list, not all the way down the bottom. I have numerous file info templates saved and 90% of the time I want to copy a recent one, not one I created 5 years ago, so I find it very frustrating to have to scroll all the way down the list to get to the template I want. I contribute to Adobe Stock and need my newest file info templates at the top of the list please, not at the bottom.
With Kyno having been purchased by Signiant and essentially stagnant, there is a huge opportunity for Adobe Bridge to step up in its place. Features such as drill down into sub folders, video playback of multiple video and audio codecs (which work in Premiere Pro already), visible metadata such as time code, codec, resolution, fps, etc. -- these would be extremely useful for professionals and non professionals to track assets and generate reports across small and large projects. Please have a look at the Kyno website for one example of what is useful. I would start using Bridge across current professional projects immediately if it had similar capabilities. Adobe already has the technology -- please fortify Bridge to a point that it's useful for video professionals. https://lesspain.software/kyno/
this would make it easier to find duplicate files
