** Problem encountered on MacOS 12.6.1 and Windows 10 with the latest updates. **Hello,If there is a network outage when working with files on a server and you have the misfortune to click on a bookmark, ALL the bookmarks disappear. This is boring! Can you fix this bug?
Why is there no obvious way to see what bridge is currently working on? Give me a simple progress bar to know how long it's going to take a given folder to finish generating previews, please? I know I can just stare at windows task manager, but it seems dumb to not be part of your software.
I spent the past day trying to report a bug with Bridge, using three different browsers, and every time all I get is a Sorry, that couldn't be reported error.
In Windows Explorer, clicking on the down arrow while holding down the CTRL key will collapse that folder and all of its subfolders. This feature has also been implemented in Dreamweaver. It would be helpful to have this feature in Bridge also. Currently, the only way to collapse all folders is to quit and restart Bridge. On my site there are well over 1,000 folders and subfolders on three drives, including many A, B, C, … X, Y, Z folders nested five levels deep. After several additions or edits, the folder list in the Folders pane gets very long, requiring several folders to be manually closed just to make navigating easier.
It would be great to have a "group by type" option like in mac finder.I just migrated from MAc to windows and windows explorer "group by type is a mess" i would love to bridge to have a group by type option.I know that the "filter options"are kinda similar. But for a visual artist like me is not similar at all.Hope to help improve Bridge

Sorry for the commentary - why is v13 (2023) such a step back from v12?Please replace v13 with v12 until v13 at least meets the performance and capabilities of v12.
A panel to preview histogram, waveform or vectorscope of an image, either one at the time or two panels at a time.
Keywords separated by commas and NOT semicolons. Many photographers need to copy and paste the keywords separated by commas as 99% of other software , stock sites recognize keywords or tags separated by commas and not by semicolons. Make our life easier. Thank you.
I don't need to have the tabs stack up when opening folders for viewing. I found 10 open tabs in Bridge today, and didn't need any of them. They just slow down performance. Please allow for tabs to have to option to auto close after you exit Bridge. Or a way to turn off tabs all together. Thank you.
I'm using macOS Ventura 13.0.1 and Adobe Bridge Version 13.0.1.583When I pressed the close red symbol while working before, Bridge would minimize itself and continue working in the background. Still, in this version, instead of minimizing itself, it closes completely every time. There is no such problem in the Photoshop version of the same update.Another problem; The latest version of Bridge would not allow you to drag and drop files inside the program to the trash can.
Bridge 2023. In Bridge 2023 both Smart Collections and "Show Items from Subfolders" now have a very large banner across the top of the Content Window. It is huge. Pushes down the thumbnails so that the bottom row is partially hidden. Why so Big? If it was only the same size as the tab bar it wouldn't be a problem. For the most part it is also unnecessary. The only thing I need when in Smart Collections is the Edit button. If I click the edit button I will see the Search Criteria, so why do I need the Search Criteria to be an inch high at the top of the Content Window? For "Show Items from Subfolders" it has no purpose at all. Just a waste of space. The Path Bar will show that I have selected "Show Items from Subfolders." I am working on a 27" monitor but space it always at a premium in Bridge, even on larger monitors. I am sorry but this was just poorly thought out, and need some work. It is hard to believe that there were not comments on this in Beta.
Make what's written in the field Description and Keyword responsive. As it is now it's very complicated to deal with it at a glance
All the problems listed on this page are real - and CRITICAL, Adobe!! The only improvement I find is faster RAW file viewing. Rendering is much faster (only on my MacBook with the M1 chip) - but still not as fast as the very inexpensive Camera Raw Viewer program. The constant crashes, freezes, and other problems listed in this forum have forced me to revert back to the previous version. And then I was unable to process images from Bridge to the updated Photoshop version, so i had to roll that back, as well. These issues have caused a huge waste of my time, as well as anyone else installing the upgrades. Time i do not have! Perhaps if we all invoice Adobe for that wasted time it would get your attention!!
this latest update has slowed down the scrolling of images a lot, making the movement of the rows of photos in preview go jerky, also when you select with stars an image, the whole grid moves and you lose the selection point of the photo
1.Sinto falta do atalho para voltar a página anterior no botão do mouse como era nas versões anteriores. e também:2. pesquisa rápida de item ao digitar o nome no teclado está com um delay.
The way the metadata template handles blocks of text has changed with the update to 2023. The 'Creator' field barely shows any of the block text and once the text reaches the end of the block, the length of the line scrolls forward and you can no longer see the start of the line. The previous version you were able to see all of the lines in the entire block when working on that text block. The worst is the 'Description' field, as this block gets the most text when writing cut lines for news agencies. See attached screen grab.
The Export command, in Photoshop, allows you to strip the metadata from an image upon export, however there isn't a way to do this for a group of images in Bridge. When getting images ready for the web, or for emailing to a client, it would be very helpful if there were a quick way to remove metadata for more than one image at a time (like you can do with the Export command) when using Image Processor and/or Batch Rename.
I can imagine that the new area focus feature comes in handy when using multiple monitors, ok. But you should visually differentiate between Selection and Focus. What is the meaning of the attached screenshot? What exactly is selected here and what is going to happen?Metaphorical questions, maybe I get used to this, as of now I feel uneasy of what I have selected exactly.
In Gallery, having a file selected, entering full screen mode (Space) and switching through files, then leaving fullscreen modeleaves first selection and last file are selected. (See Attachment)First selection should be removed, as accidencts like unintentional delete or edit may happen easily. This is a new and wrong behaviour since Bridge 2023.
Please bring back "move file" to "Favourites" folder.Dragging a file upon a "Favourite" folder to move it inside this folder was very handy. I do not see why it was removed. It is slowing users down.
