CC Library Freezes

My library panel inside photoshop, illustrator, indesign, etc keeps freezing. I have to close out the app and shut down close CC and reopen them to get it to start, but it will only work for a couple minutes until it freezes again. Very frusterating as I have all branding and assets uploaded to the library.

 

I've seen other posts with this issue in the past but no fixes.

I have the same in Adobe Illustrator, it is absolutey maddening and makes working in illustrator impossible for any productive  workflow. ( Mac Mini Studio Sequioia 15.6.1;   Mem 32GB;   Illustrator 29.81.) Will we ever get a stable  Illustrator the programme,? The current one sadly is not fit for purpose

We have collected logs from another customer that seems to have similar issue to this forum post and others. I have reviewed the logs and found a potential issue. The ticket has been created internally and hopefully we get some traction soon

 

Please, all here, providing your logs also will help track down the issue. Or at least validate that the issue is the same one.

Awesome, thanks! But I don't think the upload will work here.

 

The folder on mac that may help reduce the size of the upload is `userTemp/CreativeCloud/Creative Cloud Libraries`

.zxp is just a renamed .zip file. You can rename the log archive and extract as normal on a mac via finder (i would do it into a separate folder. there is a lot of stuff in there)

@active_developer1549 oh man. That is not good.

 

Can you collect them locally and upload somewhere? You could DM me the link locally. If you have more issues we can try and reduce the size of the zip file manually

Hi, I have also been having the same issue.

 

Adobe CC InDesign Version 20.5 (Up to date)

 

I have run the log collector and had it send the logs to Adobe. Let me know if you need anything else with those.

Here is a screenshot of what happens. The entire panel is unclickable and stretches when expanding. The only way to fix it is to quit and restart InDesign.

My entire design teams color library is frozen on different mac versions.
restarting doesn't help.
(indesign and photoshop)

Hello. 

 

So not sure how to collect the logs. I am on an Enterprise account with my company and i dont have access to contat support. 

But I am using all the latest updated apps to date (as of Sept 17, 2025 - Specifrically InDesign 20.5 version)

 

Is no one at Apple trying to reproduce the issues? I can aske my teammates if they also experience this. Or if its machine specific. I am on a 2023 16 in, MacBook Pro M3 Pro Chip 

 

Is there a link that you have that can collect everyone ones issues that are on this thread?

Illustrator 29.8.1

Attached are images of what my Libraries look like - can't click on any of them. And, a screen cap of what I get when I try to download the log collector for my Mac.
