Users disabled through Federated Identity (OIDC)

Users disabled through Federated Identity (OIDC) should be automatically re-enabled when the identity provider marks them active again. Federation is the source of truth, so status changes should sync both ways.

When a user is disabled through Federated Identity synchronization, administrators should have the option to automatically re-enable that user when the identity provider reports them as active again. Since federation serves as the authoritative source for account status, user activation should be able to synchronize in both directions.

Support stated that if they are disabled they need to be manually reenabled from the Admin Console Via the steps below even though our Identity Provider has “active” mapped.

  1. Go to Setting tab > Federated id {YOUR DOMAIN} > sync tab > go to setting > Enable editing.
  2. Go to users tab > Directory users on left side > {YOUR DOMAIN} > Search for user and then remove them.
