I'm logged in and trying to download a preview, but the the message, "Good News, looks like you already have a plan."

Yesterday, 12/11 it seemed to have fixed itself, but today, 12/12 it's doing it again. Please advise!

Today, 12/13 it still persists.

Today, 12/15 it still persists.

Today, 1/17: I've discovered that it ONLY works when you are on the specific image page. Otherwise, it still gives the error.

Yes, for the third day in a row, I believe the issue has been resolved! Thanks Adobe.

Bonjour,

W10 pro Edge

Je viens de faire plusieurs essais avec différents mots clés pour des images et des vidéos, tout marche !

Bon week-end,

Don't want to jinx it... but I was just now able to download THREE previews in a row. Might they have fixed the issue? Using Chrome, regular window (was trying incognito before).

Update: after being transferred to the adobe stock (human) agent, he could only tell me that I can't download extended images with the standard subscription (which I was not trying to do anyway). After an hour of back and forth the agent ended my chat suddenly without a solution. This is the third time this week I have wasted a half a day with adobe "customer service" reps that have wasted my time. I am so sick of Adobe in every way. After using their products all day every day professionally for 25 years, I am telling all the young designers to go with Affinity instead. Adobe has thrown us all under the greed bus.

Yeah, that's a pain for sure.

Yes, that works...but it doesn't retain the name/number of the file, which is very helpful when you're downloading a bunch for mockups and need to eventually buy one for the client. I've found that if you click the desired image from a search, then the file number button, it goes to that specific page. THEN you can click download preview.Screenshot 2026-01-08 at 12.57.41 PM.jpg

Replying to alisona688972:

Seriously??? That is simply outrageous! I am TRYING to do the right thing with my subscription, especially not using images that might be unethically taken from creators. I have appreciated that, for instance, I can avoid AI-generated images. And in the past, I was very happy with being able to select the images that worked best for me, usually based on Previewing.

I am not seeing any right-click workaround for previewing. I have already bought several unacceptable images, because I couldn't really see them (free money for Adobe!), and no, that does not resolve it.

I am NOT going to install Chrome, since several of you say that doesn't fix it anyway.  So I'm ready to give up and close my account. A lot of Adobe's images are in Canva anyway.

Really ticked off about this, Adobe.

It works, but it's extra steps in a workflow. As usual, Adobe wants us to give us "workarounds" at our inconvenience because they are too lazy to fix a bug.

I just chatted with an adobe (human) agent whose only suggestion was this:

"We are so sorry for this issue,

We have an alternative if you wish you can try

We can help you with a team plan of creative cloud pro plus which have adobe stock and cloud pro in it , and that plan is the one that business people's are using to avoid any circumstances with stock plans.

It will cost you USD 110.49/mo/user/lisence

And if you switch to that plan we can cancel your current individual plans with refund and you can use the new team account plan"

I know Adobe has gone to the dark side these last few years, but the only suggestion they have is to force me to move from a $30 account to a $110 account just to be able to continue downloading previews as I've been doing for the last 20+ years??? I am shaking with anger at this extortion attempt.

As you can see from the thread, this has been a well-reported issue. I would guess the workaround is to right-click and download the preview?
