I have been trying to make short, animated videos from voice files using the "Animate Characters" feature but keep receiving the error message: "We were unable to contact our service. Please try again later. (Error code: INTERNAL_SERVER_ERROR)."

I also have this issue. It appears to be a long standing issue - since at least September 2024. Perhaps you could address it conclusively, e.g. with an update at the point of service?

We're sorry to hear about this. Could you please let us know the platform you're on? Is it Desktop or Mobile? Since when have you been seeing this issue? Did you try switching the network to see if that helps?

We're here to help, just need some info.

Hello,

I am experiencing a persistent "500 Internal Server Error" while trying to use the Adobe Express web app. This issue occurs immediately after logging in and attempting to access the main dashboard.

Steps I’ve Tried:

  1. Cleared my browser cache and cookies.
  2. Tried different browsers (Chrome, Edge, Firefox).
  3. Restarted my device and internet connection.
  4. Tested the website on another device.
  5. Verified that my internet connection is stable.

Despite these efforts, the error persists, and I cannot use the service.

Additional Information:

  • My operating system: [Specify your OS, e.g., Windows 11].
  • Browsers tested: [List the browsers, e.g., Chrome, Edge].
  • Adobe account type: [e.g., Free or Premium subscription].
  • Internet speed: [Mention if tested and stable].

I would greatly appreciate it if you could help me resolve this issue or let me know if it’s a known problem on your end.

Thank you in advance for your assistance!

Dear Adobe Support Team,

I am encountering an issue while trying to add a voice-over to animated characters using your platform. Each time I attempt this, an "internal server error" message appears, preventing me from completing my work.

Could you please investigate this issue and provide a solution? Let me know if any additional information, such as error logs or steps to reproduce the problem, would be helpful.

Thank you for your assistance.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

Hey @shantanu_ghosh, Thanks for posting on our Adobe Express community and sharing the image.

I see you're using the mobile web version of Adobe Express. Please check if the same error occurs while using the mobile and desktop web apps. Our users get this error, but the root cause varies for each user. Also, let us know the device make and model details with the OS version so we can test and investigate this.
For the mobile web version (one that you're using), try resetting the browser and clearing its cache/cookies to see if that makes any difference. Also, try switching the internet connection once.

These steps resolved the same issues for some users, so trying them is worthwhile.

Do share your observations and details for further investigation.

Best!
