I have been trying to make short, animated videos from voice files using the "Animate Characters" feature but keep receiving the error message: "We were unable to contact our service. Please try again later. (Error code: INTERNAL_SERVER_ERROR)."

Agreed. Though, it's worked here and there for me today, and I've managed to generate four short animations. But it's totally random whether it works or not because a lot of the time the error message still pops up.

It's been a few days already.  Obviously this is not a quick fix.  It might be nice to put a label on the animation website saying "Temporarily unavailable" so that people don't waste their time trying and failing.  I've already wated too much time.

Is anybody here at Adobe even trying to resolve this issue or we are waiting in vain? It's happening for a lot of days already.

Thanks for the tip, but no luck here. This worked once on Firefox, but the error message keeps popping up now. 😞

I have a half finished video that's due tomorrow and I've been unable to complete it due to this error. What is the ETA on a fix?

I couldn't get this Animate Characters feature to work on Edge or Chrome. However I was able to get it to work on Firefox.

I hope that helps people. 🙂
