Update: recent download, upload, and processing issues

We wanted to give an update on the wave of issues many of you have been reporting over the past few hours, downloads stuck or failing, videos not processing, PDF uploads/imports failing, and Clip Maker getting stuck.

This was caused by a platform-level connectivity issue affecting several backend services that Adobe Express relies on. It's since been identified and resolved by our engineering team.

If you're still running into any of these issues, please try again now, most things should be back to normal. If problems persist, let us know here or in the relevant thread and we'll take a closer look.

Thanks for your patience while we got this sorted out.

FYI: My team will be merging all related comments/threads into this one to keep everyone consolidated and able to track one thread.

I am experiencing this same issue. Today is the first day it has happened to me. Was able to download pdfs fine previously.

Everytime I go to upload a PDF file (a PDF file I uploaded totally fine yesterday BTW), it says “Import failed. Something went wrong. Please try again.” I made sure that the file size didn’t change or get added to, but since it was working just fine yesterday, I’m totally stumped on what to do. I’ve tried other PDFs and none are working. My subscription or internet acess didn’t change, and I even cleared my cache and tried both browser and desktop. Any advice?

*Edit: I also tried using the Drag and drop feature, and going through the Upload/Edit PDF sections and I get the same result there too

I’m having the same issue! I can download photos, but videos I keep getting the same error. I’ve even tried downloading through the app on my phone and still I get the same error message. Hopefully this is fixed ASAP 😣

I’m having the exact same issue! I need help ASAP as this is for a work project.

    I have tried EVERYTHING!

    Different browser. (Chrome and Edge)

    Incognito window.

    Clearing cache.

    Duplicating file.

    Exporting lower resolution.

    Restarting computer.

    Disabling browser extensions.

This issue occurs with ALL videos, regardless of size. I need help ASAP please!

I’m having the same issues. I cannot download MP4 files from Adobe express.

    Yes. I’ve tried duplicate.

    Yes. I’ve tried incognito.

    Yes. I’ve tried clearing cache.

    Yes. I’ve tried different browser.

    Yes. I’ve restarted my computer.

Really could use some help solving this issue. Adobe is making it very hard with no error explanation.

Still not working. Unable to download 1080P or 4K video, despite ‘copying” into new file of “duplicating’

Hi there, I’m getting an error when exporting video. It says “Download Failed. An error occurred while downloading your file. Please try again.” This is happening when trying to download any video, I’ve had coworkers try to download as well and the same thing happens. Can someone please help?
